The pharmacy is ridiculous. I worked in pharmacies for YEARS and have NEVER heard of this: my son’s insurance doesn’t cover his medication so I said I’ll just pay for it, no big deal right? Oh no! If insurance doesn’t cover it then I cannot just pay for it! They refused to sell his prescription! Tell me how that makes any sense??? Also, it’s day 2 of waiting for it to be ready! We called and finally were told it’s almost done just for us to go up there and be told we can’t pay for it. It’s Saturday and we can’t just call the Dr and have it transferred somewhere else like they said to do. He needs his damn medicine!!! I’m unbelievably livid over this!!!

Pete who works nights in the pharmacy is a life saver. The company is so lucky to have him. A panicked call ended in a smile and relief. Will be contacting corporate so Pete gets the recognition he deserves.

Today i transferred all of my Prescriptions from walgreens to another pharmacy due to WALGREENS failures to keep my medications filled on time or even filled properly they have forgotten and not filled completely only to run out early and medicate would not fill the remainder till next month .The customer services are poor and when you complain you get treated even worseDo yourself a favor dont go to WALGREENS STORES in Yakima WashingtonThey do have a full line ofCigarettes and Alcohol right up front for your convenienceThe Pharmacy however is lacking in not being able to fill a prescription two months in a row with out problems.Bottom line stay away from WALGREENS in yakima Washington. Constantly to many issuesWish i could be writing better but only one or two of the Employees are great and the rest of them just ruine it .

I'm giving them a 1 star because 0 isn't available. I get txt messages saying my prescriptions are ready. We drive into town and they aren't ready. This is the 3rd trip we've made and it still isn't ready! I just talked to a guy who said he was working on it! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! I'm transferring all my meds but the pharmacy I'm transferring to told me that Walgreens isn't cooperating and sending patients scripts! So now I have to call all my Drs and have them send new scripts!!

Love this Walgreens! The staff are always super helpful and friendly. My prescriptions are always on time, and the pharmacists are always very thorough and knowledgeable in answering any questions I have. The ladies I've met at the beauty counter and the front registers are lovely, as well. I won't go to any other pharmacy if I can help it.

Worst pharmacy in town. I use them only due to them being in walking distance of my house. As soon as possible I will be moving my medications elsewhere. If you ever have your doctor try to link up your medications so you can pick them up all on 1 day they will continuously only refill that half prescription until the end of time and then argue with you when you tell them it's supposed to be 90 not 46 and that even though in their system they can see you had the past 90 prescription with them before their idiot techs will still only continue to fill 46, even though the 46 never had a refill linked to it. They have on more than one occasion almost given me 90 day supply on my controlled substance medication which could have resulted in me losing my contract with the state. They have almost given me the wrong persons prescriptions. I have had to work with my doctor to try to get the right amount of medicine multiple times because now when I take my pills home I count them and sometimes they are a pill or two short! How does that even happen? Now I just had to have my husband argue with them because they said I shouldn't have even gotten a refill the last time they filled my prescription? So they just blatantly admit they refilled something with no refills? And then they never contacted the doctor to get authorization form refills this last time I called them in? But really I see their new "pick a date" for all prescriptions on the 1st of July so I told the guy I want to do this. He put it in his computer that he would so that I can pick up all my prescriptions on the 20th and NONE OF THEM WERE READY! They refilled 46 of a prescription 3 months in a row like idiots and I didn't know until I got home each time. I've let it go just because it's not worth arguing with the idiots there to try to get my prescription right. So now I'm just having my doctor put in the correct 90 count refill in which shows I have 6 refills with her because Walgreens techs are morons.

Terribly unorganized. My first experience included me waiting over an hour for them to figure out how to bill my insurance. Then I went back for a couple vaccines after scheduling an appointment. I even filled out all the paperwork beforehand to expedite the process. Even with all that it still took over an hour to get one shot, and they ended up not evening having the other in stock. Ended up having to spend the rest of my night at Fred Meyer to get it. Unorganized system and poorly trained staff have driven me away.

They’re refusing to fill my Rx and honor cash prices that are offered in the app. If you don’t have their insurance, they won’t fill your Rx and they’ll blame your doctor. Maybe I misunderstood something, but they never gave an explanation to why they can’t honor cash prices. Very confusing experience with this staff.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered in my life. Dropped meds off at 3:30, told to come back at 5:30... wait half hour. Told not done. Come back again in 30. Come back at 7:30 and then am told that they still have to fill it. Then told it’s been filled already but they have to track it down. Then! Swear it’s filled and they are entirely out of my medication and the “filled “ script is all that they had left. But CANT FIND IT?!?! Someone please fire them ALL!

Once again the Walgreen's boycott begins. Very rude staff. If you have a prescription for any type of pain medication save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else and I'll tell you why. Walgreen's pharmacists and pharmacy staff will lie to you and tell you It will be an hour and half to fill because they have to notify "the State" to get approval. This is a bold face lie and I, unlike Walgreen's can prove it. No other Pharmacy plays this game. When I called them out on it a pharmacy tech went a little too far in an attempt to question my intelligence. He does not know how close he came to being invited to step outside and get handled the old fashioned way. That long pony tail he has could be used to my advantage. Semper Fi.

If i could give 0 I would! Workers in pharmacy were extremly rude and even threatened to not give the covid shot, we told the lady we were there for the shot and they said we were not on the schedule, we had confirmation numbers so she sends the other guy, he asks if it was for the test, we said for the covid shot, then he proceeds to have a extreme amount of attitude, decided to just leave after that!

I am so thankful for the staff and manager that was on staff when I came in. I was about to get scammed for $300 from supposedly the sheriffs office. Through something called a money pak card. I luckily told the cashier who was on the phone and she immediately told me to hang up and that it was a scam that's been going on. I'm so thankful they have read their alerts and are helping their customers from these scum scammers. I can't say thank you enough!!!

Super rude.. my little girl who is 3 was saying hi to the clerk, she said hello I'm right here several times. I told the clerk politely sir, she's talking to you. He looked me dead in the face and said I know and continued to ignore her. You should not have people like this working with customers.super rude. Never on time with any of my of my medications and I have psych meds that can't be skipped and they are always a week late for refills due to the lack of participation in calling the Dr.'s. I hope in time they will be more convenient an mindful in their future...🙄

When ever I go in to this walgreens, I am greeted with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They are always willing to come and help you, most of the time, I don't need to ask for help, because someone is always there, ready to help. I also enjoy my experience on the way out the door, I want to give Jessica her props for helping me find everything I need. Thanks to all the west Yakima avenue walgreens and Jessica. Sincerely. I don’t know what’s wrong with this pharmacy…All I know I came in for a script and I went to the window I asked about my script I was told about an hour wait…so I waited around for an hour then went back to the window..Then I was told I would need to wait around another hour..so I waited around for another hour which makes two hours total in Walgreens..then I went back to the window and was told I would have to wait another 15 but probably 30 minutes??? I’m like what is going on lol.. this place is crazy.. I’m a disabled Vet and I have what I thought was the worst pharmacy waiting experiences the government could provide through the VA..but this Walgreens officially takes the cake..If your business runs worse then a government run facility I would seriously do some soul searching…I’m not even mad..just perplexed..I’m still waiting for scripts as I write this..

Dropped off my prescription told it would be done in 45 minutes.. show up an hour later I'm told it's still not done they need another 20 minutes. pretty inconvenient when I have an 8 month old who needs a nap and I'm in an extreme amount of pain... horrible service in the pharmacy
