I called with a semi-emergency, and they were able to see my dog within the hour. Diagnosis was prompt and worse than I expected. We ended up with an overnight stay. Overnight stay was only $40, and overall, the bill was much less than expected. My dog is back to happy and healthy, and I am very satisfied with their knowledge, promptness, quality, and price.

The best vet in Yakima hands down! Not only do they actually care about you and your animals, they don't do unnecessary procedures to ring up the bill. Kind, compassionate, honest and helpful. I won't go anywhere else.

Great veterinary clinic! Out in the country beautiful building, but the best part is the doctor who truly cares about your pet and making sure they are well taken care of!The receptionists are very welcoming and kind. This clinic is priced very well for their services.We just moved to Yakima and found them after having the best vet at our last town for years that we truly loved and I feel we now have a vet that is very comparable and we are so pleased!

The vet/doc has pulled through pretty much everytime. The staff has been either straight to business or friendly. We bring them our cats in poor health or suffering unknown conditions and we leave with a proper diagnosis and treatment. They are a bit expensive but having pets is, comes with the territory in my mind. I hope they stay in business for a while.

I've taken our puppies here twice and both times everyone was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The vet takes his time, I never feel rushed or like an inconvenience to him, he takes the time to educate about training, habits and good diet options. The puppies and I are in great hands and very happy we were able to obtain this vet. I couldn't be happier. Paws down the best and most reasonably priced vet in the whole Yakima area.

My dog, Wyler, plus siblings, had his dew-claws & tail fixed at Summitview Cowiche Vet clinic 15 years ago. I called wanting to know his actual birthday. They effortlessly looked it up. Dr. Lust also took care of my Schnauzer-Momma, Allie, her entire life. Worth the trip. He's my favorite vet in all my 72 years of having dogs.

Both of my dogs are over 100lbs and haven't been socialized well over the past year with COVID. They did not behave perfectly, but the staff and Dr. Lust were very understanding and handled them extremely well. They both ended up with their shots and chips. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ken is great with my two dogs. One is pretty large, stubborn, strong and has anxiety in new places but the office staff here handle him with the utmost care and love.

I had the need to put down my elderly cat of 18 years. I was not a customer, but called Summitview Cowiche Vet anyway. They scheduled an appointment for me the very same day and were very compassionate and sympathetic to my situation. If I ever decide to get another pet, I will definitely use them again. Again, I very much appreciated the way they handled my pet and myself.

My experience with the Summitview Cowiche vets is always a 5 star. They're kind and definitely able to answer all my questions I've ever had. At one point (saved one of my dogs and I am forever thankful for that). However, the main representatives that answer phones and schedule people lack customer service skills and accountability for the mistakes they make. I booked an appointment one month out that was never scheduled and was told basically I must have not of scheduled it. I had an alibi and explained to them why I was so sure that I booked my appointment. I'm not necessarily upset with not being scheduled but more of how it was handled. Not once were the 2 reps that helped me apologetic of the situation, even with all the information I gave them over the phone or in person was good enough for them to take accountability for their mistakes. I won't mention there names but for clients and future clients I recommend calling in after to confirm your appointment. Although it is hard to even reach them over the phone sometimes.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. First off, when we emailed an inquiry and asked about euthanasizing a pet and to please cremate him; all the response we received is that they were "not accepting new clients. Sorry to hear about your pet. Best of luck." If that isn't the coldest response we have ever received I don't know what is. If they read their emails they would have comprehended that our beloved dog was at the end of his life, we were not asking about him being a new patient. If end-of-life services are also not available, that needs to be placed on the website. Our sweet boy was taken to another clinic where we were greeted with compassion.

I will not take my dogs anywhere else when my Chihuahua got attacked by my pitbull they did everything they could do to save his eye the Dr's are amazing and my Moto lives it there and everyone knows who he is I now also take my boxers there and Moto too and his princess Zoee they are a year apart in age her Mama wouldn't growl at anyone who tried to touch her after she was born but if Moto was in my room only I could touch her...I Love all of them Dr List and Dr Lacey ( Dr Owen) we might move back down to lower valley but my dogs will continue to go there...my Sophee broke her leg they were redoing her splint

Hands down the best vet in town! Dr. Lust cares about your fluffy family members and charges medications at cost. Although they are not currently taking patients I will still be recommending!
