Love the store... pharmacy not so much. Female pharmacist was extremely rude to my spouse today (3/2/24), (also not the first time we have experienced her bad attitude) Our prescriptions abruptly went from auto fill to callbin and he just wanted to know why. She said we never were set up (4 mos of auto fill says otherwise) he said "maybe I will go else and she said "OK. NO PROBLEM". Sad when people forget that customers are the very reason they are employed! We really did enjoy the rest of the store.

It’s Christmas Day 2023. I just got home from purchasing an almost $200 Prime Rib from this store. I actually shop here somewhat frequently. I have bone cancer and have recently been put on medication and one of the side effects is nausea/upset stomach. I have not experienced that until today. I was in this Safeway grabbing my stuff for dinner and my stomach began to feel uneasy. Instead of continuing to shop as usual, I headed toward the front of the store. I felt overwhelmingly sick. I left my cart and tried to get to the door asap. There was a family in front of me that walked almost comedically wide and just wouldn’t let me by them, they had zero self awareness. They were headed for the exit door so I got around them and headed for the restroom. I made it in the restroom before I became very very sick. Unfortunately, I did end up vomiting. It was terrible. It felt terrible. I immediately started cleaning up after myself to the best of my ability. Burned through plenty of toilet paper initially and then moved on to paper towels all the while just thinking “I hate that someone has to clean this up after me, on Christmas”. As I was just wrapping up my super self conscious cleaning episode, the “manager” came to the bathroom, opened the door and said “you’re headed out, RIGHT?”. Those letters are emphasized on purpose, to convey the rude tone in which he said it. The continued snickering as he walked off was childish and completely uncalled for. I had another customer ask me if I was ok based off hearing that completely unprofessional “manager” speak about me while I was still sick in the restroom. It’s a shame that someone like him is who teaches employees how to carry themselves. Terribly unprofessional. I’ll never step foot in that store again. Not that the manager cares whether I do or not because I don’t deserve basic dignity, respect or kindness. Either way, Merry Christmas I guess.

Clean store well organized and was easy to navigate through and find my item's quickly without being around too many people. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and was a great experience as far as grocery shopping goes 😂

As a local I must say I've watched this location go downhill. The store is constantly understaffed and dirty. As far as the produce section you'll consistently find outdated rotten products. If you like moldy berries and rotten fruit accompanied with fruit flies you will not be disappointed.

First, I’d like to start by saying that this is my go-to-store for groceries. The store always provides good customer service and quality products. However, I’ve been disturbed by the cleanliness of the store bathroom.The bathroom is far from clean. In fact today one toilet was leaking and another was completely filled and I can’t even explain the smell. This concerns me as a customer because there is no way staff are able to have a sanitary environment and touch everyday produce. I will be reaching out to store management as something needs to be done.

This is the most organized and cleanest grocery store I've been in. And if you're picky about your fresh produce this is the place to go they have some of the best looking and ripened fruit that I can find. The best thing about this place is the staff you can tell they are wore out probably overworked but when you go to ask them a question even though it's probably the last thing they want to do is answer it politely and giving you their best opinion they're going to give it to you with a smile on their face and it's genuine whoever hires the staff for this Safeway needs to be commended they have done an amazing job from the kids to the adults kudos to use Safeway keep up the good work.

Ive been a loyal shopper at this store for nearly 20 years non stop so please keep your energy drinks restocked!!!!!! I come in 5 -6 days a week waiting for you to restock then i buy as much as i can becase 2 days later your out for another week !!!! Its simple supply and demand if your constantly out of the same REIN drink flavors its because people want that 1 flavor the more you stock on the shelf the more money you make why should i keep going to your store when a closer store stocks thier shelves every day? I literally only shop at your store now out of loyalty but thats over the next time you're out of what ive come in for 2 visits in A row i start shopping at winco. Stock your rein energy drinks and keep a long long time customer dont and you wont.

The few things I enjoys the most about 'Safeway' store, is their shelf pricing & points & discounts. What really bothers me about it is the fact that when staffs see there's a line of customers waiting to check out, they don't see have a sense of urgency to help but instead let the line of customers steady build up. Other than that, I believe they are great with their service & store cleanliness & professionalism..

My favorite grocery store! Meat & produce are the best & good organic selection. I like the membership card & always check the current weeks sales add, I can save between $20-$50 when I shop, I used to use that for getting extra savings on my groceries but now it's used for $ off fuel, my last one was $1 off per gallon. I appreciate Safeway! Did I mention the staff, they are the best! Professional & Courteous.

Today while using the self check out I over heard the way the assistant manager belittled an employee. He did this at the customer service desk. He yelled at her and made her cry. The way he spoke so aggressive was so uncalled for. I called to let him know that I heard the whole conversation and he tried denying what I clearly heard. He does not deserve to be in this position.

Horrible place to work and food is all way overpriced, doesn't match their ads.Management is absolute trash, rude and snobby to their employees and refuse to provide basic supplies that are required for your job. They lie and mislead you about your hours and pay. They just want bodies to make a quick buck. No one deserves the treatment they give out here. Customers are barely treated better than staff.

High prices a few times, fair prices most of the time, and if you download the app there are coupons and in store special savings you can save to a shopping list. I only wish the list could also save anything else you need so you don't have to bring a physical list. Good staff too, they just need more of them. 1 checker and no bagger is getting old. That's the only reason to deduct a star.

Very clean and exceptionally organized. The produce is never "iffy". The in-store florist is a big plus. The deli counter, always very clean, I don't think I've never seen a dish yet that was looking like it was sick and needed to be tossed. Great job!!!

Seems really good but they have the most god-awful shrimp there their walnut shrimp taste like rubber breaded they need to also check there chicken was good but some of it was siting out for too not super juicey dry..

Just a Friendly reminder to your store manager, employees and Security. You all are ONE SINGLE TRAGEDY away from being those people who steal. I get you all have a job to do. Does safeway pay you enough for all of that? Jumping up and down, hugging eachother and Celebrating catching someone who steals is a bit much. You all look more embarrassing than the actual thieves. Do Better!!!!

When a business is open, to me I figure everything is open and ready to go. This must not apply to any Safeway bakery. Every single time I visit a Safeway in Yakima, the bagels are never ready. The times I usually visit are after 7:45am. I'm not sure what the issue is or if it's too early but you would think they would start baking early enough to have things ready in time for the morning customers. Very frustrating to go in and hear the same ol " oh sorry they aren't ready yet". Please get it together and staff the bakery so customers can get the morning bagels, especially the cheesy bagels!

Love this store. I love their prepared food. I get their baked chicken, mashed potatoes, & macaroni & cheese, a coke, then I go sit at Starbucks tables, ask them for a glass of ice for my coke, and I sit there and eat. Then i go gt a Hagen Daz tiny ice cream cup and leave, Ill sit in my car and eat it then go home.😊

The staff was nice had great help. Not a long way at all. There were great to my kids and showed us where the bathroom was because we are not from that place and everybody had good attitudes. When I go back there I would be more than happy to shop there first.

Lines were long cuz of last minute holiday shopping. It is after all why I was there also. Nonetheless, the wait to get through the register was quicker than I expected. Great job. Good to be able to count on all my trips ending with less stress, even the quick ones that collide with the busiest times of the day.

The store itself is fine, but I used the bathroom and was beyond disgusted! First thing, you walk in and the lights are blue.. then I used the furthest stall to the left and there is what looks like a very long neck pillow across the bottom of the toilet. There is toilet paper everywhere on the ground. Soap dispenser was broke. They should take some time and clean and fix the womens bathroom!

Came to the Mead location at 11pm the other night thinking it would be quiet & apparently so did a lot of other customers. One cashier who was VERY slow & the line was halfway down an aisle! I thought there were other employees, but no one seemed to care.

Love the store.But the gas, nah...There are great benefits to shopping here, including great prices and store gift cards for purchases. And they have a couple apps that make shopping here extremely streamlined.But...I just put almost 40.00 of Safeway gas in my new Taurus. And within an hour, it started sputtering and stalled at a traffic light!!So. I'll keep recommending the store. But I'll get my gas elsewhere.
