I went to the store for a particular item. I had plenty of assistance looking for and discovering they didn't have it. Then they called one of their other stores located the item and had it waiting at the cash register for me.

Went in to buy some oil, and the staff were so kind and polite. Super great customer service, and made you feel like you were the only customer in the store. Their attention to listening was impeccable, and they truly worked as a team together. I was in a hurry on a Saturday mornings and the staff were super helpful, and recommended products i didn't think about, and worked perfect for the project i was doing.The check out was even better. Once i was ready to pay, the associate was very kind, and cheerful. Something you don't see often anymore. It felt like a place you wanted to hang out at, and just talk with good friends over a cup of coffee. Im sure if they had a seating area, it would be packed. Super great local store i will be spending my money at often. Thank you Roy's Ace Hardware, your truly a rarity in business now days, keep up the great work, your Awesome!. . .

I've been coming here for years. I love this place better than the big box stores. There's always someone extremely knowledgeable and helpful right there waiting for you. (You can sometimes even get a few fishing tips from their plumbing expert.)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great downtown location.👀Be careful when you pull in and out of their parking lot. The ramp is a little rough and you might hit your tow hitch or the lower part of your bumpers.

I did a search for drill and impact sets on Google and Roy's came up. I figure they are a smaller company so I should shop local since they are competitively priced. So I grab my new Milwaukee M18 drill and impact set and I put the first battery on the charger, flashing green and red immediately which indicates "battery is to hot or cold"? Hmm I think okay I'll try the next one.. Same thing. So I bring it back two days later and THEY DO NOT RETURN POWER TOOLS. What? You won't return a 2 day old faulty product? "Because we are a small business". Not okay. Bad customer service. And mind you I was not told at any point of sale that they do not return power tools. Guess next time it will be the box store for power tools.

Helpful staff. Up until today, I went in the store and bought a few items. I was overcharged, so I went back tho it was inconvenient. Not only would they not adjust my receipt for the correct amount, even though sale signs were posted clearly showing the price. They basically told me I was out of luck. So I was overcharged by quite a bit. Nearly $10. So caution. Employees cannot do simple math. I explained it multiple times, and they just stated blankly.

I had been to three other stores trying to fill a list for a remodel. I walked into this store and was immediately asked if I needed help finding something. I explained my list, the employee walked me through the store, helping me fill my entire list. To me, that's the definition of customer service. Within ten minutes, I walked out the door with my list filled. I have not found this level of service at ANY other hardware store. I was really impressed and I will definitely return for my next project.

Great service the employees always ask you if u need help finding anything, most of the employees are experienced in doing jobs related to what your working on and they give you very good advice especially if you don't know what you doing, I always ask a lot questions and they give me the best answers and options on what to get overall great experience goin there I go at least 2 to 3 times a day to get what I need I recommed goin there.

Came in to get weed barrier and the worker was waxing the floor at 1pm on a Sunday and STANDING ON THE WAX and refused to grab the item for me and told me to go somewhere else and get it. Excellent customer service. 🤦♀️

They are always friendly and helpful. The only issue is when it's busy parking is a bit tight. They are really conveniently located.

This Ace Hardware advertises copying Key FOBs in minutes for a reasonable price. I checked into this prior to the pandemic but couldn't afford it yet. When I finally could afford it recently, I returned to get my order started but the ladies working that morning told me that they weren't making them right now due to the pandemic. They suggested a place or 2 but when I started looking online for another business, the first one that always pops up is this Ace Hardware. I personally think they should correct and reflect the change whether it's temporary or they decide to make it permanent. That way, they don't get overwhelmed with these requests and having to constantly repeat themselves. It's time consuming and annoying. In store, their customer service is quite positive and helpful.

ive lived up the street from here for almost 30 years. prices are not too bad. seriously. whats remarkable is that over the years i have never had an unpleasant experience. not with product or price. never ever met an employee that i didnt immediately feel comfortable with or that did not treat me with respect. the only thing i would change about this place is the hours. id start with their closing time...

I only shop at this particular hardware store out of convienenc, it's close to me. But this is a small store and it's stocked like a big store. So getting around can be difficult if you are using a cart or if you are disabled and use a cane. The aisles are so close together that you can barely turn a cart around and the carts are small. But, I have always been able to find whatever I was looking for and the staff are very helpful and friendly .

Pretty sure the lady did not know what we were talking about so she referred us to fossen's who didn't carry anything like what we needed for our heater... The snow is coming down, so I didn't appreciate driving to another store that didn't even carry what we needed...

No one offered to help me when I walked in. All of the workers were talking with one another. No one ever offered to help while I was there. This is about the third time this happened when I go to this store. I would go to this store cause it used to have very good customer service but now I might as well to Walmart if I'm going to get the service I received.

Helpful staff, but beware when you pull into the parking lot go slow. I scraped driving up so I recommend going in at an angle and very slowly. Otherwise you will scrape if you're in a car.

I came in to this store to get some m3, m4, and m5 screws cause right when we were about to pull in the driveway to C&H hardware they closed up so we came here to get some screws (which is the only other hardware store besides C&H i found the sells the M type screws) and i couldnt find all the screws i needed (why i went to C&H hardware first) and when i went to go look for the last thing i needed which was springs a guy came up to me saying we’re closing in 5 minutes then like 3 minutes later i over heard them saying “just shut the lights off back there” which they did after the second guy came over saying we close at 6 and he showed me his phone and it said 6:02 like are you guys serious?!? A good place will take care of their customers and not rush them when it’s 2 minutes after they close that’s freaking rediculous pat yourselves on the back cause you guys just lost a great customer :) IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FROM A HARDWARE STORE GO TO C&H HARDWARE ON FRUITVALE THEY’LL HELP YOU OUT AND IF YOU DONT FIND WHAT YOU NEED (more than likely you’ll find everything you need)THEY’LL TELL YOU WHERE TO GO — EDIT: this happened on 5/13

Understocked. Hard to find what I need and when I've found that they have it, it's usually out of stock. Not bad for a small store and they do have a fair selection as well as decent pricing, but it's not where I shop anymore.(PS, sorry for the 1 star, it's supposed to be a 3 - remedied)

The store on Yakima Ave is just "meh." The store to visit is the one at Tieton Village shopping center. The staff is great and they are really helpful. The store on Yakima Ave refused to help me when my car needed a jump. The made me buy a $25.00 set of cables before they would help me. Then they refused to jump my car because the kid was off in five minutes. I have shopped at that store for 25 years but I drive right by to Tieton now. The service is WAY better.
