I’ve never had an issue with this store prior to today. Unfortunately the cashier didn’t helpBag anything but instead threw all my items on top of the bags, she didn’t tell meI had to bag my own things, which is frustrating, then didn’t tell me my total and instead looked at me with a blank rude stare. I understand that a young female cashier with short hair may be new or have a bad day, but I never had a cashier do interactions with a customer including telling me my total. It was very bizarre made me wish I had a selfCheckout option. I think basic common manners are needed. Unfortunately very disappointed. (Older blonde worker was super Nice prior to us checking out.)

Great place for a quick meal or a quick gift. Also have a big selections of crafts and accessories for your electronics. I enjoy taking my time to look at all the variety of products to get ideas for my home or my projects. Also they have products for parties.

Given that this is a chain, the experience is pretty much the same, as far as the other dollar stores which I have visited. The aisles are mind of cluttered at this store, and space is limited, but given that it's the holiday season, I am not surprised. The store does have a wide variety of items, and the prices are still reasonable, even though they have had a significant price increase recently. I believe that this is a good place to find small items at a reasonable price

When in at the brinks of debt dollar tree come in clutch because I can get my chicken sliders here for 1$ well 1.25 bummer 25 more cents but at least I get meal every week 😁

I visited the West Valley Dollar Tree and they have fall and some Halloween decorations out. Always find fun things here!! Nice craft section.

hey i have two small children with me and the staff directed me to go to the pizza place next door to use the bathroom when there was a bathroom there clearly marked. it did not say employees only. ridiculous. we left and the pizza place next door didn't mind the children using their bathroom. we didn't even need to purchase a meal there. smh. NOT GOING BACK!

I have shopped at this location since it opened. Today is the first time I am complaining. I brought in my own store bags and was told I would have to bag them myself. The cashier tossed my stuff on the counter roughly. I was trying to hurry for the the next customer . As soon as she gave me a receipt she started with the next customer. I was still trying to finish bagging my own stuff. I will probably be going to one of our other stores in Yakima.

It never fails, everytime I am in this store, the older lady that works there has no respect for others, she is rude and has no idea how to act appropriately with all of her customers as well as co-workers. I have seen her yell at children, coworkers and customers from across the isles.. yelling loudly and very inappropriately..

Love Dollar Tree stores. They are like a treasure hunt for great deals and bargains. Friendly staff 👌. Clean store, carry brand names too. Wheelchair friendly. No restrooms. They use to have a bathroom for the public to use, but since Covid, they have closed it since. So sad, especially for us that need a restrooms fast. So plan ahead before you go shopping at Dollar Tree store on 72nd in Yakima, WA.

Horrible place to work. Act like you should know everything your first day with little to no training. Customers even defended me against a manager who got attitude with me. I had to get another job because they scheduled me one 4.5 hour shift a week and you know kids, bills etc. Managers get all the hours. My scheduled shifts started disappearing off the app just 2 days before my shift, I'd called, left messages and came in to find out what's going on but manager never around. When the app quit working completely I finally found her at work, the manager said in front of staff and customers that I no called no showed,not true at all. The one time I had to work my other job I got it covered. But they fire me without telling me or reaching out. Very unprofessional.

I was just here today. I'm giving it a 5 star rating since I can't find any fault with this store.Obviously, you can only expect so much for anything at this price. However, I've found similar (if not the exact same product) at Walmart for 3 times the price, so you know you're getting the best deal possible on these low priced items.I was impressed at the variety of products: kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, pet supplies, hardware products and a lot more!Friendly customer service and a great location at the Orchards mall!

Honestly, shop at any other location in town than this one. Management is HORRIBLE at this location. They don't treat their employees right. There is no training for their poor employees that they wint give more than a day or two of hours to. The managers don't care. As if the way they treat their employees isnt enough, they will put perishable items that have been sitting out for hours back in the fridge. Proceed with caution if you chose to shop here.

After going to the Dollar Store on Nob Hill, getting crappy customer service and with the store always being trashed, I never wanted to step foot inside another one. I finally went to the 72nd store and won't go to another. Even with inventory coming off the truck, I was still greeted by both cashiers and stock crew and asked if I needed help with anything. The cashiers were happy and asked if I wanted an impulse item to purchase but weren't pushy about it, which I liked. I am definitely coming here from now on, even though it is across town.

They never have enough people checking and the lines are always way too long. I’ve seen lines going all the way to the back of the store with only one person checking and the other employees are nowhere to be seen

I have always loved going to the dollor tree! U never really know what kinds of treasures you are gonna find on your visit that day! But the store that's on 72nd is by far the best dollar tree we have in yakima, the team that works there is always super friendly & helpful! But I guess a name change is due since items are $1.25 now so the Dollar Tree names doesnt fit.. so maybe the buck 25 store?

This used to be Yakima's cleanest most organized well-stocked Dollar Tree. However since management has changed and Jennifer is no longer at West Valley location it has turned into a nasty unorganized place. Their is unopened stock all over. The shelves are empty or a mess stuff where it's not supposed to be, the freezers are never stocked completely. It's just not pleasant to go to anymore.

Love to go to this location.Always clean even when they are busy.Doesnt smell funny like the other ones downtown and they seem to have alot more stuff or atleast every thing isn't gone by the time I do my shopping.This is the place to get gift bags by the way.

Very clean store. Cashiers were fast, line short, very organized, workers very helpful. Felt like I was at Macys. Very professional, and nice clean, fresh atmosphere. I went in for 4 items l, and left with 122!. . I will be back.

This is no longer a dollar tree. All the prices have been raised. I was shocked to see the total after shopping today. Staff was amazing but the price raise is outrageous.

Staff here are completely unprofessional they lack proper customer service skills I worked here for 2months they don't train you on anything they retaliate against there own employees I was scheduled for one day a week I have a family and bills to pay and there is no way in hell I can live off of one day a week I was forced to get another job just so I could feed my family this place is a joke worst job I've ever had

Its amazing customer service is very cool and talkative, the people in there are polite, its so much nicer than all the dollar trees I've been in and all the supplies,food,water, and everything else in there is so helpful I love it.

Convenient location, it's clean and quiet unlike other dollar tree stores in Yakima. Merchandise is well stocked and service is friendly, fast and efficient.

I took in a reusable bag to put my stuff in.the cashier refused to bag my stuff into it so while I was bagging my stuff she helped the guy behind me she was definitely not friendly either.
