Such a well kept secret, and a hidden gem!!Cozy tasting room with unique and exciting wines that also has sweeping views! Host was friendly and knowledgeable as well as accommodating. My kids loved exploring the surroundings while we tasted. Only place I've ever enjoyed wine while looking at Mt. Hood.The Gris is amazing!

I really enjoyed the wine. It tastes significantly better than the price point which is 20 bucks Uber Walla Walla prices, greater this isn't Walla Walla. The wine reminds me more of Walla Walla than other local Columbia Gorge wines. Well worth a stop, they had live music while I was tasting.

Delicious Columbia Valley AVA wines including a bold Rose of Cabernet Franc that I had to take home with me. Fabulous view from inside or out on the patio. And you can bring your own snacks to pair. We'll worth an add to your wine tasting excursion in the area.

On a beautiful sunny, warm (finally!) day, what's better than sitting by the river drinking a cold, crisp glass of Viognier? Nothin'! So, between the view, the wine, the weather, the staff it's a win-win. Come visit. You won't be sorry!

Wonderful people... We walked in at about closing time thinking we had an hour to go...they were gracious enough to welcome us and give us tasters..I am sure they wanted to go home but theyade us feel welcome, along with the best part for me, the tuxedo cat, Rosé. Great wine 🍷 fun times! Thank you! We will be back and be earlier!!! ❤️

Jacob Williams is a hidden gem! Tucked away in the Gorge but honestly the best wine in the area. The crew is incredibly friendly, easy going and very welcoming to all! Their kitty Rosé will even come say hello. It’s a trek to get out there from Hood River, but worth it for the quality and experience! It was a no brainer to join their wine club.

Second time to this lovely, little winery. Known more for their reds you shouldn't pass up their Viogner! We loved it so much we bought a chilled bottle to have at our camp! The gal working was very nice, knowledgeable, and had some great suggestions for places to go and things to see! We were too early in the year to get their Port Style wine- just might have to go back the 2 hr drive to get some! We will certainly be back!

This is by far the best wine tasting experience you will ever have. The staff here make all of us feel like we are all family. Fantastic veiws of the area, and the wine's. I can't say enough about the wine's. Do yourself a favor grab a vintage bottle and enjoy, it will blow your socks off. We've been to so many wineries all through the West and this was one of the best experiences we've ever had, thanks to the great server who did an amazing job. I don't know her name, but we were at the winery about 3 p.m., Monday, May 24. She had so much energy, was on top of the pours during a pretty busy time, knew all about the wines and the winery (she said she was pretty new to working at the winery), very friendly and even volunteered to give us a tour of the winery. Also, very good wine.This is a beautiful location with an amazing, peaceful view of the Columbia River. The only negative element was a couple who felt they needed to bring their two large golden retrievers with them on the deck that then barked at every blade of grass blowing in the wind while the rest of us tried to savor and enjoy our wine. No one needs their dog with them in stores, restaurants, etc. You REALLY don’t need your dog with you at a winery.

Of all the wine clubs in the Gorge, Jacob Williams never disappoints in service or their wines. Each and every wine is literally amazing. The view from the Wishram tasting room is glorious and our absolute favorite to visit. Can’t wait to see the McMinnville tasting room with our next pick up.

It's like they're producing wine for my palate. Gorgeous testing room right on the Columbia River, friendly staff, beautiful bold reds and lucious whites. Their rose is so beautiful, and will be a lovely supper and great with food. We joined the wine club, we were so impressed. And, as beautiful as the winners we're, there was a sweet little kitty that totally cushy my eye.

I’ve been coming here for at least four years, and I can’t believe I haven’t taken the time to write a review—I’m so sorry guys! This is the best tasting room in southern WA hands down. The staff are wonderful, helpful and make every visit fun. I always have a wonderful time. There are bigger wineries, but JW’s wines are consistently delicious and well-made. They can stand up to anybody’s offerings. I expect to see more awards in the future.

There cannot be a finer location for a tasting room than what you find at the Wishram location - lots of sunshine on the banks of the Columbia River. The staff is very friendly and there is a taste available for every palate. The drive is well worth the effort.

We've been to the Jacob Williams Winery 4 or 5 times in Wishram, WA. We're now looking forward to visiting their tasting room in McMinnville, OR. Love their wines - Go Sadie Red. Sitting on their patio on the edge of the Columbia River is breathtaking. They have always welcomed our Corgis to relax there too.

I have been to the Jacob Williams Winery several times and the experience was always very good. Service was superb, view is extraordinary, and the wines to go back for. Usually I end up getting the Sangiovese. I'll take some friends next time.

Hands down--- one of the best wineries I've ever been to-- and im from California where wine country spans the whole state and down to Baja. They have seasonal specials on certain wines that are such steals you'd be a dummy to leave without a whole case. Tastings are free if you make a purchase. Please try their SADIE red wine and they're port wine-- you will not regret it! Breath-taking views of the Columbia river will make you want to abandon the city for the lush beauty of wine country.
