It might seem difficult to adopt from these ladies but that's because they look the the PERFECT home FOR THE DOG. If anyone is refused the dog of their choice it's because of something the potential adopter did. I've adopted two dogs and it took time for me to finalize the adoption. They rarely refuse adoptions so if they did maybe you should look at what kind of dog you were looking at getting. Look at what you did wrong.I support Valhalla Canine Rescue 100% and many more should!

Not recommend anybody going though for adoption. They have zero respect for families, rehoming dogs where it's best for animal instead of letting there personal assumptions are. They are horrible people. Yes this is in regards to my wife kids and dot. My wife fought hard for her to come after she was stolen. They made excuse after excuse why she couldn't come home really affected my wife as she has a instant bond with dot. My wife spent a lot ofmoney of stuff for dot to come to. She was wllibf to oah all the vets and specialists but he ladies were nothing but judgment towards her. Dot should be at home with her family. Who constantly fights for her to come home. Horrible people.

Thanks to Valhalla Canine Rescue we were able to adopt two of the best dogs we ever had. Thanks to this rescue many large, difficult to place dogs are saved and eventually find their forever homes. Feel so positive about this rescue I will be volunteering there!!!

Read the other reviews about the lack of response. I have tried to contact this place many times about several different dogs. They've never responded to me. I don't think they actually exist and should stop looking for people to adopt dogs. They are wasting peoples' time. A pandemic is not an excuse for not returning inquiries. A simple email is all it takes.

To those reviewers complaining that they have never heard back after applying to adopt... did you take any initiative to follow-up, yourselves? My experiences with this rescue have been nothing less than phenomenal. These folks are all holding down normal lives, working, living, fighting illness, dealing with all the same day-to-day struggles we all do... and then, in their off-time, they are doing everything they can to help animals.

The most helpful Rescue I have ever encountered. I am a sucker for helping animals so I have encountered many rescue locations. This one is very helpful, very welcoming and very accommodating. Patti is the best. She is very loud spoken, very knowledgeable and great at what she does. I will be contacting her again.

We contacted them by phone left message with number and nothing filled out an application still nothing it's been a month and still nothing this place is a a joke!!!our interest was in a dog named duke finally we just gave up and adopted another dog else are don't even bother putting and ad for adoptable animals if your not going to respond!!!! Oh and I had to give one star in order to leave a review but you don't even deserve that much!! Mrs Taylor

Valhalla Canine Rescue does so much for the community! They take animals who need veterinarian care and see that they get it! They help those in the community feed their animals when those people can't afford food for them. Wonderful organization!

This is a very good rescue. Make sure all the dogs it adopts out go to the appropriate homes so that they do not come back in to rescue. They are all volunteers there and still love the dogs like they are there own.

What a waste of time trying to adopt a dog from this rescue if I could have gave no stars I would have this place will not get back to you it's been like 2 months been tryingt adopt a dog contacted them several times filled out there big long app and still nothing DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
