So I am in this small Washington state town to buy a building for a fresh produce and espresso drive through my business partner and i are setting up in Marysville, WA. So we get the name of a BBQ place to have a quick lubch after we buy the building. Well, i can tell you that this is the BEST BBQ I HAVE HAD North of the Mississippi! I grew up in Texas where BBQ is and i did not expect to find the same flavors, delicate, and just plain amazing and tender BBQ in this small town. But I did. I had the brisket , string beans, and corn muffins to die for!Seriously you should drive from Seattle or Portland to have a BBQ in this amazing place. I have had BBQ around the country. Some good, some bad, and then there is Boss Hogs BBQ. Total YUM!!! A perfect blend of smoke with smooth BBQ sauce flavor that makes your taste buds scream for more without the use of a whole roll of Tumm's to settle down the heartburn from too much smoke and spice. I had the two meat platter with pulled pork BBQ, pulled chicken BBQ, and the sides, plus rolls. It was spot on. I highly suggest trying out Boss Hogs BBQ. You'll be glad you did. Also took shots of the menu.Parking: Parking can be trying. You might have to park across the street in the parking lot

Definitely coming back! Felt right at home walking in. Very much enjoyed the sampler on my first visit and for an extra charge swapped out the pulled pork and chicken for the burned ends (only on Fri and Sat) and Trị trip (only on Fri). The baked beans were awesome, so was the mashed potatoes and corn muffins.Next time I’m going for the burrito!

Made an audible on the way home from Bandon OR. Saw this place on the map headed north, wanted to give it a try. Best decision of the day. I think my buddy and I were the first in there today, ordered a beer, pondered over their menu, many many times and FINALY made our decision. Buddy went with the half rack of ribs, I did the 3 meats (because I didn't want to miss anything) and my sides were the Corn bread and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was awesome, was not sticky, and very creamy with a small kick to it. The meat.....Incredible. I did not want to use any sauce on it at times because it was cooked so well. Just wish I could of ate more. They also have a pretty good bar and whiskey selection. Great people and incredible food. Make a detour and hit this spot. Just minutes from I-5. It will be a regular for us on the way home from our golf trips.

We ordered the "Sampler" and the pulled meats were cold, without flavor and soaked with grease. The meatloaf wasn't a loaf nor was it edible. The green beans were...yep, soaked in grease. The mashed potatoes were instant and the coleslaw was completely lacking in any flavor. We were given tiny plastic forks to scoop up the greasy meats and sides and paper plates to eat from. I've had barbecue from all over the south and throughout Washington. I can honestly say this isn't barbecue and it's certainly not good.

didn't know what i was getting myself into when i found this spot returning home from a mt rainier outing. i was hungry. i'm not fom around these ways, but the bar staff were nice & welcoming...and the food. the food was fantastici've been to a few places and this is legit the best pulled pork i've ever had. amazing bbq sandwich too. flavorful, very good portions, sides like loaded baked beans and slaw were rich in flavor.don't sleep. this real deal bbq.

Food is either undercooked or overcooked and high-priced last time I went there my ribs were super tough and my brisket was like beef jerky super dry also the staff are kids serving you

A new BBQ pit and catering in Winlock. They offer different meats and meals on different nights. During the Covid - 19 stay at home period, they are open for take out only. The side is ribs were moist and fall off the bone full of flavor. Saturday night is brisket night, along with pulled pork and pulled chicken. They also have smoked sausage. During the mid week, they offer different meal combinations. Try their smokes Mac and cheese. Everything is smoked on site. They are doing it right.

Best BBQ pork I've had since I moved away from Alabama. We will definitely be back!We got the family meal on Saturday night. Pulled pork and pulled chicken as our meats. Cheesy potatoes and green beans. It comes with slaw and rolls.

Hands down the best BBQ around. We shared the 3 meats 2 sides and it blew my mind. THE MAC N CHEESE WAS SO GOOD!!! We had the pulled pork, brisket & tri tip with potato salad n the Mac and I’m already looking forward to trying more. The potato salad was delicious. I can’t decide which meat I liked best because they were all so Yummy! The owners were fun and friendly! Thanks for the great food and service! 10/10 recommend

The most noteworthy thing about Boss Hogg's BBQ is the gargantuan portion sizes. Unlike literally every other restaurant I've ever been to that serves a sampler platter, Boss Hogg's does not scale down the portion sizes in that sampler platter. You get a full, huge, portion of every item in the sampler platter. A sampler platter will literally feed at least two extremely hungry people, and leave them feeling very full.I came here to see a band perform, and as a music venue, I've definitely been to better, but I've also been to much worse. There are very few tables that will only accommodate one person, and those are the farthest from the stage. I did inquire about possibly moving closer to the stage, but was denied, in case larger party arrived. This is not a knock against the establishment, as this completely makes sense, but it was a bit frustrating because a four top very close to the stage went unused the entire evening.Vegetarian options: Very few vegetariansParking: There's a very small parking lot with very few parking spaces

Super disappointed with our food. Coleslaw was dry. Macaroni had gooey stuff in it and tasted awful. Potato salad looked and tasted bad. Brisket was super fatty; tasted ok, but not great. Won't recommend and won't be back.

The meats are very good. The sauce is a little too thick for me. For how sweet it is, I feel like it needs to be used more sparingly. I did take out and my order was ready when I walked in. The parking lot was FULL and when I went in there were several tables inside. Looks like a fun atmosphere.It smelled so good all the way home. I happened to open the green bean side first and my jaw just dropped. With all the care they put into all the other dishes, I was really surprised to see canned green beans. I ordered them specifically because my kids love green beans but they won’t eat these. So, kind of disappointed about that. But everything else is really good. My daughter loves the mashed potatoes. Husband is very happy with the meats.

I read Cindie Jackson's 1 star review below and was intrigued so we decided to stop and try out Boss Hogg's. I'm from TX and have eaten a lot of bbq - this place would rival any of them. The sides are delicious - tons of flavor and they say all are homemade from scratch; all meats are smoked in house. Definitely worth a stop off I5 if going between Seattle and Portland! Thank you Boss Hoggs, we will be back!

Paid $35 for 2 bbq brisket sandwiches. Meat wasn't bad but for the price I expected more. Bun was soggy even without the BBQ sauce. Had a side of potato salad which was orange colored. I believe it consisted of mashed potatoes with mustard or something. Sandwich was 70% fat. Not alot of real meat. Don't use the restroom !!!! It's totally disgusting. This was my 2nd visit. The 1st was bad, but not this bad. My question being - why take the time to put a wonderful smoke on the meat and then drop the ball on how it is served?
