What a wonderful surprise! This place has a great vibe and a very friendly staff. Unlike a lot of coffee shops this has an almost anti-boujee feel to it. Coffee and other drinks are made with quality ingredients. Baked goods are pretty good. The ham and cheese empanadas smothered in the homemade chimichurri are absolutely delicious. Don't sleep on this place! Recommended

Nomad PNW is a warm, cozy and comfortable empanada and coffee house with available merchandise such as shirts, sweatshirts and simple syrups. Nomad offers three standard kinds of empanadas: Chorizo and egg, ham and cheese and spinach and cheese. They also offer a few different speciality coffees: Dule de Leche, bear proof with honey, butter and coconut. As well as some seasonal offerings like a turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing empanada to be served with an iced Mocha with marionberry and mint foam.Pricing is fair with the price of a single empanada being ~$3, two for $5, half dozen for $15 or a dozen for $30. Coffee is better than Starbucks and at a fair price. A 16 oz specialty coffee was ~$5 and would purchase again.Nomad PNW does offer WiFi for paying customers and has open charging ports on the East wall below the large Nomad sign.If you have any questions please feel free to post and ask. We will do our best to assist you.

My most favorite coffee in Washington with coffee roasted in house! I get straight espresso shots and it’s so rich and flavorful which important for me since there’s no milk or flavor to disguise the quality. The empanadas are great too!Vegetarian options: The Mendocinas are soooo good!

Nomad PNW is a great addition to Wilkeson and its surrounding area - with a short drive from Buckley. The coffee is fantastic along with the atmosphere which the owners have worked hard to curate through a consistent look and feel. I had a plain latte with a Horchata Doughnut which was made fresh in-house. I also picked up a hat which matched the style of the establishment. I will definitely be back - a ton.

This is a hidden gem that I definitely didn't expect to find in a small out-of-the-way town. Very good third wave coffee roasted in house - worthy of any upscale quality establishment in Seattle proper. Also, amazing tamales. So good we had to order a second round.

The store & staff are charming just like the town. They have typical coffee options they do well, but we really enjoyed their unique (or signature or whatever) mochas/lattes/etc. Usually I don't like stuff like that, but these were fun, bold, and not too sweet. I had the Mexican Coffee and it was amazing - legit spicy and JUST sweet enough. Wife had a Dulce De Leche, which was sweeter but didn't overpower the coffee flavor. Also the empanadas were awesome, like they were made in a French bakery or something.I can't figure out if this place is a chain, there are a few other "Nomad" shops, but regardless, it feels very unique, novel, and welcoming.

Stopped in after a hike at Summit Lake. This place is amazing! The cortado was excellent. The owner was training a new barista and stopped to give me a lesson on pouring latte art. They roast all of their own coffee on site and their empanadas were a great snack for the long drive home. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in the area.

Stylish and cozy little shop. Their coffee is flavorful and consistently good. Often they have a creative special drink that always turns out really tasty even though the flavor combos are unheard of. The owners are super sweet and active in the community. And where else can you get homemade donuts and empanadas on the plateau!

From Olympia and saw this shop heading home from the weekend in the woods. I am so very happy that I stopped to give this place a try. I had the empanada and Mexican mocha. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through or looking for a different place to try. This place is worth the journey alone.

Loved Nomad. Stopped by on the way to Rainier for a hike. My drip coffee was awesome and I saw lattes served up with latte art - my friend’s had honey sprinkles too. Great empanadas and the coffee cake “cups” were great too - but don’t expect this to be your “trucker breakfast” stop as all are smaller sized.

The best coffee. Period. But what really makes the place sound out are the wonderful, generous, authentic owners. They work the place, and are just wonderful. Did I mention amazing empanadas? This is worth a trip no matter where you are coming from. Do it!

We stopped here for coffee and pastries when our car broke down on the way back from Rainier NP. Coffee was great (they have oat milk!), so were the empanada and shortbread pastry. It was exactly what we needed to relax a little in a stressful situation. Big thanks to the barista lady for helping us figure out what to do with our car and even offering to drive us to a closest city. <3 Just wanted to let you know that we made it home :)

The best espresso I can find within at least a 30 mile radius. Nomad has some of the best service I've ever had in a coffee shop while still having incredible integrity when it comes to their ethic and aesthetic. While tucked away, this place is worth the effort

Something that should be required (but definitely isn't) when pulling a business license for a coffee shop, is the ability to talk to anyone. Jeff and Felisha have the ability to make you feel welcome, share hiking advice, tell you a story about Wilkeson history, or talk music for 3 hours when you should be working on your laptop, abandoned at your elbow, while you enjoy the good old fashioned dying art of conversation. The coffee is good, too.
