Coolest place in Westport! Best ice cream. Waffle cones made fresh to order. If you are interested, there are many gaming consoles with thousands of available games. We played on a few different consoles for no extra charge. Jan accidently left her purse inside but one of the owners ran it out to us right as we were leaving. What a great place! Kid and adult friendly. They have beer. It's at the end of the strip, don't settle for any other ice cream. This is the best!

My wife wanted ice cream so we stopped by Whale of a Cone. The staff were super nice and made us feel very welcome. They had plenty of non basic flavors, like strawberry cheesecake which is my wife’s favorite, and multiple options for cones. They gave us a lil pup scoop for our dog and even made an ice cream sandwich for us to try (it was delicious)! We would definitely come back!

This place deserves all the love. Not only was the ice cream excellent, but the owner went out of his way to show my boys how to use the different systems. We played some games, ate some ice cream, and overall had a great time. Will definitely be back. Thank you, Jah!

You must visit Whale of a Cone for ice cream, if you're in Westport. The server was very nice to talk to.We love the butter pecan flavor!The mango sorbet flavor wasn't good, but we should have tried a sample before finalizing.We'll be visiting Whale of a Cone again before leaving Westport.---We visited again, the next day. Our favorite flavors were butter pecan and pecan praline.

Honestly, the customer service is what gets it the 5 stars. The ice cream is pretty much all stuff you can get at the grocery store. It's a great brand, but we very much enjoyed the friendly, gregarious, and kind man who served us the ice cream. Try the Maui Wowi!They also have an arcade so I would bet it's a great place to be when the weather doesn't cooperate 👌

My favorite place to go and get ice cream and candy when I am in westport. Recently under new management but still the excellent ice cream shop you remember with a good selection of flavors. I highly recommend either the chocolate dipped or original waffle cones. They are delicious!

We walked down for ice cream after closing and they kindly opened for us! My daughter was so excited, she was speechless. I was given a scoop on the house of the maple nut that is so delicious! My daughter loved the vanilla ice cream! Thank you so much for your kindness and staying open late for us. We will be back on our next visit (before closing!) 💜

Love this place! The maple walnut ice cream was so good and the owner made my husband an amazing cup of french pressed coffee that he immensely appreciated and enjoyed. Great laid-back, happy vibe - definitely stop by for a tasty treat!

This is the $7.50 double scoop.. Pretty small and the ice cream was old/freezer burnt. You get more ice cream in those $1 mini tubs at the grocery store.

We LOVE this place!!! Owner is SO nice and helped my kids have a great time in the arcade. Not to mention he has the BEST ice cream flavors in Westport including the cranberry cheesecake and the Maui-Wowie. They also make the best waffle cones in house. We will absolutely come back every time we visit Westport; highly recommend!!!!

This place is great ice cream and video games hardest part was keeping the kids from playing with sticky hands and getting them to leave. We had a great time. Got to play The Simpsons game I wasted so many quarters on that game when I was a kid this time it was free with a purchase of ice cream loved it.

This place rocked. The service was excellent! Big fruity pebble shake with enough to let me try it too. Homemade waffle cones that were amazing. He even provided pup cups for our dogs. New ownership knows what they are doing. A wonderful friendly experience. Pay no attention to old reviews as they no longer apply with the new owner. My husband drooled over all the video games they offer in their arcade. I'm sure we will be back.

Definitely a new hangout spot super cool and friendly owner great ice cream and even better games if you got time stop in this hidden diamond shop. P.s you can buy the consoles as well with 20k games on them for reasonable prices.

Just stopped by Whale of a Cone tonight for after dinner ice cream and was pleasantly surprised by their new look! They renovated the chotsky shop half of the store and changed it to a sweet little game room! They put up a bunch of big screen tvs each with game systems from NES with vintage classics (even Mario/Duck Hunt!) up to PS5, a couple arcade games, and tables with board games. They still have the great ice cream selection too! Had a great time showing my kiddo how to play mouse trap while munching on a bowl of spumoni. Really love what the new owners did with it and will definitely be going back! 5 STARS :)

Today I tried “Whale of a Cone” for the first time. The ice cream was great, the people were wonderful, and the store itself was a really fun space.They even had a Simpsons arcade cabinet!So, if you’re ever in Westport, definitely drop in!

This place is pretty awesome, and the ice-cream waffle cones are the best. I loved the arcade, they have retro ni tendo systems open for play as well as some of the best old arcade games. My 12 year old video gamer was in heaven.
