Can't say enough good things about our stay! We traveled from South Carolina to visit Seattle, WA and on a whim decided to stay a few days at the coast - we chose Westport after finding these cottages online and all the previous positive reviews. Staff was communicative and they accommodated us when we were arriving at a late hour. They checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The location is top notch - walking distance to shops, restaurants and piers. We enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle of the marina from the front porch while enjoying our complementary coffee. Cottages are cozy, super clean and the beds are comfy! We were sad we had to leave.... we will 100% be back!

We absolutely love coming here! We visit every winter. The cottages are always very clear and staff is welcoming. We love the jetted tub and spent hours soaking in it while watching Christmas movies this weekend. Our dog had a wonderful time playing on the beach. We love going to BlackBeards Brewing to get pizza. Will definitely be back soon.

We had a lovely stay. This was just perfect for a little get away. The cabins are nice and private. They are comfortable. We had a king bed with a nice little twin for my service dog. She was able to sit by the window and look out from her little bed. We had a nice view of the ocean. It was just what we needed. I will certainly be coming back and recommending this establishment.

This is a mixed review with the low score due to the property management. The room and location are great. I love that there is a nice, deep tub in the room. My issue is with the property owners. As of a week ago, the posted rates for having dogs in the cottage was $20/dog/night disclosed and $25/dog/night if not disclosed in reservation. I didn't see anywhere in the online booking process to disclose my two dogs so I emailed the property who promptly responded that the dogs were added to the reservation. We arrived and checked the paperwork in the room which listed the undisclosed dog rate of $25/dog/night. I emailed the property regarding the discrepancy and did not hear back. I know what you're thinking... it's $20 total... why bother? I'm the kind of person who follows the rules and expects the property to stand by their posted rates. Meanwhile, we're spending two nights in Westport over the coldest week of the year.. 17 degrees when we checked in. We kept the faucet running so the pipes didn't freeze and went about our business. We return from dinner on our second day and find that there is no water service to our cottage. We assume that the pipes froze anyway and we would be without water for the remainder of our stay. As we're doing an inventory of how full our water bottles are etc so we can have drinking water and make coffee the next morning, I get a text from the property owners stating that they know the water has been shut off to our cabin and it will be resolved shortly. The water had been shut off earlier but instead of sending a text then, they waited until we arrived and went into crisis mode. Almost as if they were waiting to see if it was resolved before we got back... Giving the benefit of the doubt, we again got on with our lives. When I hadn't received a reply to my email regarding the billing discrepancy in dog fees, I text them. No response. I text again and this time the property replies that they recently changed their rates and I was billed correctly. I reply that I expect the posted rate and the property apologizes for the misunderstanding but there will not be a refund for the difference of $20. This actually wasn't a misunderstanding. I can read and the posed rates were wrong- I did not misunderstand what I read. I would say stay here but beware of the property owners propensity towards poor communication, inability to update posted rates and willingness to trip over a dollar to pick up a dime.

The best cottages ever. Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Beautiful views ocean front cottages that will take your breath away. I have had the pleasure of staying in Cottage #3, #11 #15 and #22. Every Cottage I have rented was always clean and felt as if I was the first guess to have stayed there.The staff is nice and courteous and made last minute arrangements to extend our stay. The enclosed secured family of cottages are great. The neighbours are always nice and courteous and everyone looks out for and respect each other. I can not see myself ever staying anywhere else when I visit Westport. I recommend this beautiful little get away to anyone. Whether it’s to just get away for a day or to spend quality time with family,friends or love ones you will not go wrong with booking Westport Marina Cottages.100% hands down the best place to stay in Westport.Nearby activities: Lots of fun things to do !Safety: Cameras everywhere!Walkability: Walk to everything!Food & drinks: Great restaurants!

We had the best couples getaway at the Westport Marina Cottages. The check in was done via text message and our cottage was available for early check in, we arrived around 2pm. The cottage itself was cute and clean. It had a fully stocked kitchenette and small dining table with 2 chairs. There was a sitting area and a tv in the bed area that swiveled to be seen from both areas. The hot tub was awesome! Took a while to fill up but was worth the wait. Hot, strong jets, so relaxing. The cottage featured a small porch with chairs which was perfect for watching the seals swim around in the harbor. The cottage was within walking distance of town. It was also pet friendly as we brought our small dog with us.

Came here for anniversary getaway. The cottage was nicer than expected and very clean. I usually bring my own cleaning supplies but that definitely wasn't needed. Staff was super nice. I grew up near beaches in California so being able to hear the waves while laying in bed or sitting on the porch was so peaceful. Wanna come back and do some fishing. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil I would need. I definitely recommend and so happy I found this place.

So close to 5-stars, but had to deduct one due to the bed being uncomfortable.Honestly, our stay was great. Check in was easy, the cottage was immaculate and so cute! We didn’t hear much noise, we did stay on a Thursday, so not sure what it’s like on wknds/holidays. The jacuzzi tub was perfect for one, and was very relaxing.Unfortunately, the mattress on our bed was very soft, and kind of sunk in the middle, so my husband slept on the trundle bed, which he said wasn’t better. I would probably stay here again, if it weren’t for the mattress situation.

I really loved the large tub in the room. the only thing we didn't like was the window above the table had no blinds or curtains. we were able to check in early & contact-less, and really appreciated the thoughtful things provided, like cookware, ice trays, and robes. we will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed 4 nights in an Oceanside cottage with a king bed. We were impressed by the cleanliness. The cabin was comfortable, spacious and had a nice little kitchen area. There’s chairs on the deck and if you walk around the fence and climb up the breakwater, around low tide, you can watch the local surfers. Housekeeping was friendly and attentive. Reservation and check in, easy. Quick walk to the viewing tower and town. We will stay again.

Ocean view cottage for two nights during the king tides. It was very clean and much nicer than I'd expected. Kitchen had a stove top, microwave, fridge, nice plates, pots & pans, etc. The heater was not working when we arrived and management immediately sent over the nicest maintenance guy to install a new one. The location is great with one glaring exception that management had no control over. Early in the evening, on our second night, a huge semi truck pulled up on the street in front of our cottage and settled in for the night with his generator rumbling so loudly that it felt like the walls of our cottage were shaking. This went on all night long! The semi was still there when we checked out the next day.

Love these cottages! They are clean and comfortable, we have stayed on the ocean side as well as the harbor side and enjoyed both views. Within easy walking distance of the Fisherman's Boardwalk, the observation tower, downtown Westport, and the marina. This is an annual trip for me because I enjoy these quaint little cottages so much!

Absolutely adorable cottages! My fiancé & I stayed for 4 days, facing the marina, in a cottage with a jacuzzi. It was WONDERFUL. The cottage came with many more amenities than expected. It has everything for the bathroom/kitchen you will need for your stay. We will most definitely be returning.

Very cozy and an extremely relaxing stay. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and exactly what I needed for a little get-away. I was able to check in slightly early on my stay and my cabin was very clean and inviting. Definitely coming back and would recommend to anyone visiting the area. The Jacuzzi tub was very much worth the extra cost, very relaxing!One thing that doesn't detract from the visit, and could be covid related but what would make this place absolutely perfect is a laundromat for the guests. Coming from the cold, wet beach and being able to wash/dry clothes right near the cabins would make this place even more amazing!

Awesome, awesome little place. It was so much room for just two people. We had two bed, full kitchen, bathroom and a small table. Our cottage was facing the ocean, it was amazing to hear the waves hitting against the rocks. Very close to downtown, we were able to walk all over. You can also surf by the rocks. We will be coming back.

My friend & I spent two nights recently in units with jacuzzi tubs, mine facing the marina & hers facing the ocean. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything was just great, clean, relaxing, no contact check-in. We had an issue with dates come up & management really helped us deal with it, very easy to deal with & friendly. We left feeling relaxed & pampered. Highly recommend a stay here.

During a recent west coast road trip my wife and I decided to go check out Westport, it's a quaint sleepily port town. Westport Marine cottages were both comfortable and clean. Located on the shoreline behind the breakwater we had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately the weather limited our time outside to really enjoy the front porch or much walking about. The room offered everything one would need for a short stay, including a small kitchen. Our only disappointment was the wifi didn't work which was an inconvenience in our planning as once you're back on the road connectivity is limited. That said I would still recommend staying here if you're in the area, I would say it's one of the best options.
