The room was really clean, bathroom was also very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable.Location was also good. Couple of bars close by, Pine Tree bar has good food. There is a Mexican restaurant/bar across the street.Don't know about management never seen him or her in my 3 days there.What l liked was no stairs to climb too get to your room.I will stay there next time I'm in Westport.

!!!Travelers be aware!!!Hi. I have included a video of what I am describing.I stayed at this hotel last week and was locked out of my room at 1am because the doorknob was broken. I called the number on the door of the office to no avail. Finally on the third call in someone answered the phone- and tried to mansplain to me how to turn a doorknob.I had to climb in thru the window and unlock the door at 1:45amThen the door would not close at all.I (a 36yo female alone) had to sleep in a hotel room with the chair wedged under the doorknob.At 10am the next morning the maintenance man literally came in my room without knocking as I was getting dressed.The worst hotel experience I have had.I called to try to get a refund because of this horrible experience and the owner accused me of smoking in the room of which I did not.I was locked out at 1 in the morning because I went outside to smoke a joint.Travelers beware!!I have video of me trying to close the door trying to open the door and of me trying to get the maintenance man to leave me alone while I was trying to get dressed to leave!

In the ad, and in the confirmation email, “soundproof rooms” are promised. If paper were used for the walls, it would be more soundproof. Our room was “upgraded” from a king to two queen bed room. Supposedly a bigger room, more amenities, at “No extra charge”. The room is smaller than the king bed room, no amenities are offered at all, and the price for our room is less than the king. We should have been refunded, not “upgraded”.The noise by neighbors has not been addressed and continues to be an issue. The only reason I stayed was the hassle of moving to another hotel was not something I wanted to deal with. I will not be back to this location and recommend others don’t stay here either. Not what advertised at all

Beware, this is a minimal motel, paper thin walls and unhelpful reception. They advertise 24 hour staffing at the reception but already shortly after 9 pm there was no one there to let us in.Several expensive phone calls later we got a room number (but it was hard to find the room in the dark).There were no plugs for the bathtub or sink, and the office suggested (seriously??) that we stuff a towel in the drain.When I asked if they had a beer opener, they said, "We never heard of having a beer bottle opener in the room".

The room was incredibly clean. It smelled clean and nice. The bathroom was clean too and wasn't smelly. No mold. The front office was welcoming and the host was very kind and helpful. The inn is in a great location, there's a coffee spot close by, a store, and a couple restaurants. The bed was comfortable, bit soft as it has a topper. Also pet friendly!!

Very nice! The room was clean, and plenty of room for the four of us. The owners were amazing, very nice and accommodating. Our boys roasted marshmallows out at the gazebo, had a great time. Would definitely stay there again.

Rooms were a lot nicer then I thought and huge bonus that they were also pet friends for only a ten dollar deposit.. the room was a great size although it got quite cold if the heater was not constantly going. It's a little outdated as far as the furniture goes but the bed was super comfortable and rooms were really clean shower was waaayy to small and I'm only 5'3 and walls are way thin. You can hear the people talking very clearly in the rooms next to you. No laundry on-site which was a bummer but overall I had a great stay at this place and I recommend it to anyone visiting Wallport. It's very centrally located and you can walk or drive only a short distance to anything you want. Thumbs up for this spot.

Husband and wife owner's super friendly!!! Room was freshly painted and super clean! Hard to find a hotel/motel that clean. Grounds kept up nice, good location. I did feel the rate was a little high. We will be back for another get-away

For a budget hotel experience, this place was impressive. The gentlemen in the office was very nice and checked us in super quickly. The bed was shockingly comfortable and sheets pure white and clean. There was an oscillating floor fan, always appreciated for some white noise while sleeping. The bathroom was extremely clean, honestly surprisingly clean for a family run establishment. The water was instant-hot and towels soft. It’s just rare to find a mom-and-pop type business that clearly cares...and actually delivers. We’d go back!

I have zero complaints about our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Inn itself was quiet, while sleeping we never heard a peep from the neighbors, no doors shutting, nothing. The Inn has a great gazebo with a charcoal grill, tables and a fish cleaning area with a sink. They even leave a huge pot out to use for a crab boil. We didn’t realize it until later, but they also have a fire pit and keep wood for the guests to use. The Inn is located within walking distance of the Shop N Kart, so that’s also convenient. We will definitely return.

The room was amazing. Full kitchenette and large room. It felt like a little cottage of our own.They even put out toothbrushes which was great because I forgot to bring mine.We learned the place is under new management just weeks ago.Located close to shop n kart and the dollar general of you need to get food to cook or dvds to play in the room.The grounds are pleasant to walk and ha g out, there are snack in the lobby. Staff is incredible. Property very well maintained. Outside looks more humble inside is clean with attention to details very nice room.No ice machine but when we asked they even brought us some.No DVD, books or vhs tapes in the lobby to borrow, but there are dvd vhs players in the rooms so bring your own or go buy some in town.Large bathtub and bathroom.We are definitely coming back this place is top notch for a vacation getaway. I actually enjoyed our time there more than going into town!Rooms: We used the family room and 2 couple rooms over the winter holiday. We built an outdoor fire made s-mores and played music in the outdoor gazebo. It was a great place to get away from the black Friday bustle.Nearby activities: The Beach shops and restaurants were open but not crowded and there was some good storm watching and animal life out on the beach. Good prices everywhere we went. The coast guard museum was best place to walk through $8 each to see all the exhibits.

We had a good stay here. Lots of thoughtful touches. Spacious. Bathroom had two sinks! The bed was a little softer than we prefer but let's face it -- motel owners can't win on this. Room was clean and the place is well maintained.

We absolutely loved this cozy little inn! The rooms were METICULOUSLY clean and very tastefully updated and furnished. Fresh paint, new flooring, cozy beds, quiet, small complex and they even provided sweet little toiletries like toothbrushes! The owners / management were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Westport!

The room was clean and well-aired when we arrived. We chose a room with a kitchen and were glad we did since it also gave us a table and chairs to sit at in the evenings while we read and played games. We were able to get a nice takeout dinner one night and enjoy it comfortably at the table. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of noise from other rooms. In other words, the walls are not paper thin. The bathroom heat didn't work the first morning, but it was quickly fixed when I notified the man in the office (a breaker had been tripped). The motel's location made all the main sights in Westport easily accessible.

This was our first over night stay in Westport. With 2 adults & 4 children it is not easy to find a room that would fit us all comfortably. We got the family & friends room. It has 2 sets of bunk beds & a queen bed and we loved it! The whole inn is so cute & charming! Most of the time when we stay at a hotel we have to ask for an extra blanket, pillows, towels.... the room was well stocked with a full kitchen that has everything you might need & they were a 10/10 in cleanliness. In a prime location close to everything to do & see in westport I would have to say this is my favorite inn/hotel I have ever stayed. The owners are the sweetest people and were so welcoming and made sure to give all the kiddos snacks & drinks. We will definitely be visiting again!!

Dont let the outside fool you. The rooms are nice and modern. The beds are comfy with enough pillows of all sorts of density. The owners are very nice also. Both the husband and wife are always working hard to keep the grounds looking nice. They even shampoo the carpets after you check out. A very nice and clean pet friendly inn. And when I say clean I mean clean my dog pushed her toys usnder the bed for me to get and it was clean under there too.the only thing I would say is that sometimes the other tenants next to us stayed up late and we could hear everything from the other room but that is to be expected with inns or anything that share a wall.

Our room was VERY clean. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and kind. While there is no "breakfast" they do offer an assortment of snacks, pop, fruit and water. I will definitely stay here again and next time, I'm planning to bring my kids. Their rates are very reasonable and it was only an extra $15 for our dog to be with us for our entire stay!

Very pleasantly surprised with our one night stay! The room was newly remodeled and very clean. The beds were comfortable and we found a lot of attention to detail, such complimentary tooth brushes, q-tips and toothpaste. The Inn keepers show their pride in ownership!

The owner was quite talkative yet cheerful. The rooms are all unique. My only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 is there were a few bugs on the room, the bathroom was a bit weird compared to the rest of the room, and there wasn't many power outlets. The wifi is also not too great in certain rooms.
