First time staying at The Loge in Westport this last weekend and I couldn't be more impressed by a hotel than I was with this place. First, it's clean. That's always a positive. And not a clean where the cleaning person just knows how to hide a mess, it is actually clean! There is also so much about the place like the social gathering spots to the hammock installed in my room that made the place different from others. Last but not least, the thing that impressed me most was the staff. I ran into a couple issues with my door lock. They fixed right away. Even after hours. Someone quickly fixed. I wasn't treated like I was doing something wrong either. Everyone was very apologetic and kind. Will definitely be back for another visit.Rooms: Clean

We had a great last minute stay! Just A couple things.. the lack of privacy in the tent sites & having a camera pointed directly at it.. understandable for security reasons but maybe a “smile you’re on camera” sign would be appropriate so we know before changing! The bathroom situation was a little bit awkward (super cute & cozy, hot shower was much appreciated) everyone gets a code to get into the bathroom with one stall & one shower, I think some thinks it automatically locks once you enter your code & are in the bathroom because there is no way to lock it from the inside..I had walked in on a couple & someone getting ready to go into the shower. If more than one persons are to use the washroom another stall at the shower would be useful.

5 out of 5 !!! I had the most wonderful time at the Loge Resort in Westport, WA with my furry friends! The resort is dog-friendly and has everything you need for a relaxing and fun getaway. The rooms are cozy and spacious, with comfortable beds and amenities. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the resort is located near the beach, where you can enjoy the fresh air and the waves. There are also plenty of trails and activities to explore, such as hiking, biking, surfing, fishing, and more. I loved every minute of my stay, and I can't wait to go back!

From arrival to our check out, the staff at LOGE exceeded expectations! The room was clean, comfortable, and cute. All of the communal spaces were fantastic and easy to use. We had a family reunion weekend and had a blast! Would absolutely recommend and will be coming back!!!Rooms: Rooms were great! Double queen was spacious and comfortable!Safety: Property was near a main road but still felt safe and secure

Fun place to stay. We had a fairly large Family Reunion here in which we were able to reserve the back patios/picnic table area. Most of the family stayed in the Motel rooms (2nd time having reunion at this location) and everyone had a great time. The staff were exceptional. Very accommodating. One of them spent significant time taking family photos for us. And then more time taking photos, as in typical fashion- a few family members joined just as we thought we were all done. The staff didn't mind at all. I'm sure we will be back!

It was very easy to book! I slept at a tent site, which was very clean and had a sand pit to pitch the tent. The restrooms were very clean. You had to pay with 4 quarters to take a shower. The moment you book with them they instantly send you information about the shops and things happening at LOGE.Luckily for me there was a live artist performing and it was a great atmosphere.

We stayed in one of the RV spots and it was perfect for our family! My kids loved all the yard games, husband enjoyed cooking on the traeger, and I was so thankful for a dedicated work space with dependable WiFi. The amenities were outstanding! Construction was a bummer and it’s unfortunate they still charged full price, but besides that, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

There is no one on site for check-ins, a guest said we had to book online while sitting in the parking lot and it took an hour to get the door code to actually enter the room. The smart door latch stopped working the next morning and we could not secure our room; which was fine since we were checking out, but would have been a problem if we stayed more than one night.FALSE AD- They advertise no pet fee, but this is only for the camp sites; there is a pet fee for the rooms that was sprung on us only after booking the room. We had picked this hotel specifically because they didn't have an added pet fee.The room was very neat and clean, it's a great concept for those who are more outdoorsy or adventurous. The unattended concept needs work to be smooth for guests.

I would much rather immerse myself in a genuine Westport experience. There are plenty of locally run and family owned surf shops, lodges, and surf lessons to find in the town of Westport.I’m not personally from Westport and it’s very understandable to be intimidated in finding these amenities and guidance as a new surfer, but after a few visits to town and just a little confidence/ effort the ball will start rolling. It’s become very apparent to me that there is a rich local surfing scene here that should be supported over a company from out of town, profiting off of the experience a town has to offer.I have personally been curious, and tried out a number of places to rent, stay, and for guidance as a new surfer. My experience with the lodge was night and day vs a number of locally run businesses. I’ve had bad coffee, water logged boards, and bad experiences in general with the LOGE. In contrast my experience stopping by a local shop, getting to know and respect the locals at the break, and shopping at local businesses in general has led me to a huge bank of knowledge and help. I feel much better too supporting the scene i came to visit and have been welcome to share it with an open mind and a little respect.

These are great little rooms with very thoughtful amenities. The hammock in the main room was a nice touch. All appliances were new and operated well. The outdoor commons area and fireplace were very inviting. Just down the hill is the RV and tent camping section which also seemed very cozy. 20 minute bike ride to the marina. Cafe and office are located in the center of the cabins. Wi-Fi was excellent with fast speeds (60 Mbps up and down). We would definitely stay again.

There was puke in my covered camp area when I arrived. After talking to staff member Emily Brown over e-mail after my stay, when I complained about the puke all she had to say were some apologies and “that’s no fun!” I’m a little surprised at how poorly that situation was handled. Besides that, it’s a beautiful campground with amazing accommodations! I came here with some family and everyone enjoyed themselves.

It's very simple and not at all fancy and for someone on a budget the price wasn't bad. I had my dog me and the room was dog friendly and clean. Easy check in process with a code for your room. It's away from the Westport downtown area and right on the main highway. There's camping there as well, a kitchen area, bbq areas and a Cafe that's open daily. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I could give it more than five stars.

Excellent place: confortable, reasonably priced rooms, great amenities like free bikes, common area, cafe and common kitchen. Really friendly staff. And best of all a place to clean and dry wetsuits. I’ll be back! The only funny thing is there was I my one bowl and spoon in the common kitchen? Otherwise perfect!

Unfortunately I gotta say that there are better places to stay in Westport. We booked a Rustic Camp Site with the understanding that it could fit three people and function as a campsite. These should be called ‘tent pads’ instead of campsites, because they consisted of a hole in the bushes just big enough to set up a tent. No room to sit down, have a fire, etc. For ~$45/night, this is not a good value. If you stay in the covered campsites or RV spaces, know that these are effectively just a parking lot with picnic tables and a few fire pits. You’d better like your neighbor because they are going to be about 3 feet away from you.The biggest thing: all of these sites are served by a single bathroom with (at least in the mens) only one stall. Super insufficient. Also, the bathrooms required a 5-digit unlock code that seemed to change literally every few hours. Though we were texted a code at the beginning of our stay, soon enough we were having to ask people for the bathroom code every time we wanted to use the facilities. For a place that’s already charging more than everywhere around it, this did not leave us stoked.I get the vision and intent of this place. It’s a cool concept. The staff were also generally nice (though some were a bit clueless). However, the facilities are just not up to par, especially considering the better and cheaper camping/motel options around town. I’m a lifelong surfer and have been frequenting Westport for a decade now, and this is one place I will definitely not return to.

This is such a cool place! The covered camping was so cozy and I love that each site had its own water access and outlets (I've never had that at a camp site before!).The wet suit/dog washing station was an unexpected amenity that definitely came in handy. The kitchen and common spaces were always clean. On the week day nights I was there, it was mostly other solo stayers who were all social with one another. One person even hosted a fish fry for everyone with his morning catch. The weekend was a different crowd who all stuck to their own bubbles, but were respectful of the quiet hours. So timing/who else is there can definitely make a difference but overall it was a wonderful stay!

The staff is ANAZING!! I dare you to find anyone better than Emily. From the moment we arrived until we left she was all smiles and welcoming. She remembered my dogs mane and said hi to her each time she saw her. I was expecting the room to be small and it was but we didn't need much more. The bed is a memory foam and you really sink in. Sucks if you're a plus size person. The fold out bed/couch is very old and worn. My teen son also in it and didn't sleep well. You could hear everything between our run and the next...Everything!! But I to other guests and they didn't have the problem with their rooms. The host was very apologetic and told us that it's just these 2 runs and they'll soon be updating them. The facility itself is the BEST in Westport! We will stay here everything we come to Westport!

Stayed here with some friends for a night and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The staff, especially Emily, were super helpful, professional, and kind. Our room was clean and had everything that we needed, and the community room was rad! We rented wetsuits and surf boards for a day and the prices were very reasonable and convenient. Highly recommend this place!

This place is really cool! It has a great variety for lodging- tent camping, covered sites, RV sites, bunkhouse, and private rooms. The amenities are awesome and well cared for as well. Great vibes- live music, fire pits, beer on tap. The best part though is the the staff! They are so accommodating and seem truly invested in the guest experience. The manager, Liz, went above and beyond for us. The best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Fun place to stay. Probably our favorite room on our vacation around the Olympic peninsula (I know technically outside the barriers but along our OP trip). Great rate, easy check in/checkout, attracts a good, friendly crowd. Good help from staff for any outdoors stuff you'd like to do, including wet suit rental. We used the Yeti ice chest, cleaned, and replaced it for free. It's not on the beach, nor a walk, but not far.

A MUST TRY. Located in a quiet area surrounded by trees. Rooms are freshly remodeled and very modern. Booked a single queen room with a couch, tv, tables, fridge, microwave, bathroom, shower, and a bunch of cool gear to use/buy. More than enough for myself, my wife and our dog.The community room is a huge perk where you get to meet totally random people from all over the world! We caught some razor clam earlier in the day and had a feast with a few other guests that we just met. The kitchen in the community was beautiful and stocked with cookware, dishes, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.the camping area looked fun with a nice stage in the center. Would like to come back in the summer to experience that!

It was a good stay for a last minute find in Westport when the state parks were all filled. However, the camping and RV area of LOGE could use a host of sorts. The lights were on very late and the music and people were loud past the 10pm quiet time on Friday and Saturday. Note that there is also little privacy between RV and camp sites, something that I don’t think was well reflected online. It seems like a great place to stay if you are with a group or looking for more of a party scene.

Stayed for two nights a week ago. It looks like this place was just remodelled and the room has the feel of a boutique inn. Lots of interesting items up for sale in the rooms including artwork, mugs, hats, etc. I don't know what kind of mattress they use, but its very comfortable. I forgot to ask where I can get one when I left as I want one now for my own bedroom. Cute little cafe and community room. It looks like they are pet friendly; in fact this was the only downside as someone's little dog (I think) left me a present right in front of my room. That's not the LOGE's fault, though as they have "clean up after your pet" signs posted. Very quiet, good location.

What an AMAZING place!!!!! We happened upon this place when we were looking for somewhere to stay when we were heading out charter fishing. SUPER clean, staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. From comfy beds, treger grills, campfire spots, amazing community room where you have access to a full kitchen, showers, living room and more. Surfboards, wetsuits, bikes etc to rent. A yeti cooler to use... you HAVE to check this place out!

Traveling with a teenager, my daughter, her 1 1/2 year old baby and 2 small dogs was quite challenging! Every incident we encountered with the baby was taken care of immediately! I would have loved to sit at a bonfire but was not possible with a baby! My grandson had an awesome time and we will be back...hopefully before summer is done! The setup is super cute and everyone was awesome! Thank you LOGE...you have a great concept going!

The Westport LOGE motel was a wonderful experience. Loved that there was no-contact check-in and check-out with key-coded room entries. The bathrooms were on the smaller side, with minimal sink counter space, but CLEAN! They had all amenities and even phone chargers if needed. Appreciated the bodum water kettle and microwave too. We took a look around the grounds and the firepits and grill areas were very clean and well kept. Great place to hang out with friends. They even called us when we accidentally left a bag in the room after we checked out!

Have been coming to LOGE Westport for a few years now, so thought I'd update my review. I've stayed in rooms, rustic camping, and covered camping (with a camper van), and every experience has been wonderful. Rooms are clean, spacious, great for sharing with friends / family. There's a great feel at the place, with plenty of room to sit and chat with people around fire pits, on a lawn, picnic tables, coffee shop, here there and everywhere. Bonus with events, including hosting the Cleanwater Classic some years ago and good tunes / merriment on the calendar. The staff is kind and helpful. We usually come here to surf, and LOGE is setup just for that with board storage, cleaning supplies, and lots of other surfers which makes for a good vibe. I most recently stayed here this past Thursday night and worked from their common space for the day, a new experience that turned out just swell. Will definitely look to repeat this in the future. It's a cool place, I'll keep coming back.

Very cool place and 2/3 employees I interacted with were lovely! One lady was pretty nasty and was angry that I did not alert someone I was returning my wetsuit and boots even though the staff in the morning did not mention that. Very rude and went on about how I did not wash it properly. She must have been having a truly awful day to act like that. Soooo remember to alert someone you have a wetsuit to return and maybe she won't rip you a new one :)

Wow. Wow. And Wow.We took a group of around 35 people to camp here. The host and employees were absurdly kind, welcoming, and hospitable. Within the day of arriving I was already planning my own personal trip back. The camp sites were very nice. They had water and electricity. There was an amphitheater where local artists come and perform Saturday night. 100 foot walk and you're at LOGE's coffee shop and rental facility for surf gear ect. They were brilliant in everything they put on site. The drive to the beach for surfing is about five minutes. The drive to the drive-on beach is around 10, depending on the entrance you take.
