Nice clean store with a great produce section! I love how all the isles are kept faced and neat at all times. The stock guy is a handy helper as well. Always busy, sweeping, or collecting carts with a big smile on his face.

Today, I am just reviewing the restroom. Where is it written that regular grocery stores tolerate such shameful restrooms? It's not just the amount of people who visit, the blackened restroom door and the dusty towel dispenser attest to that. Every surface was filthy from the hairs in the sink to the scum-covered toilet paper holder, which made me reluctant to touch anything. It makes me wonder how Safeway cares for our food.

I really like east wenatchee safeway.... but I really hate this chick that works there! She's the short big girl that has glasses and always has her hair in a bun, she has no reason to act the way she does! She will judge u when u walk threw the doors and if she thinks u look some way that she don't like she will blatantly follow you doesn't matter if ur with ur kids or ur gma she'll follow u everywhere! Who mad her the one that gets to judge people by the way they look???

I’ve been out in the East Wenatchee area for five years and this is the first time I’ve been impressed with the customer service at any grocery store. The meat cutter working 1/5/24 around 2pm seriously went above and beyond - wish I’d gotten his name, I’ll be sure to look for him next time.

Deli! When making the yogurt parfaits the strawberries need to be cut into smaller bites! Large strawberries cut in half are not going to cut it! They were not ripe so hard my spoon couldn't cut it! And when they are so big I have to chew it with my mouth open it is just rude!

The kids in back didn't care that there wasn't any food out! What does the deli do?Just says this is all there is. I asked if food was cooking. (Dinner time). They said no.To busy just visiting and talking to one another.?

Changed from 5 star to 2 star. Not sure if new management or something but it takes some real disorganization to ruin every single cart in the entire store. Next time ur there try to find one where the front right wheel is actually working and not just spinning around. Shopped here for 8 years, probably just gonna go elsewhere if this isn't fixed. #2 grocery store pet peeve is bad and broken carts.

I am told that Safeway's prices are reasonable compared to some of the other stores, yet I still get sticker shock every time my husband sends me to do the shopping I no longer buy candy or chocolate of any kind as the price of luxury items is now out of control .On the bright side, I don't see many empty shelves like we had for a long time. But again, I experience sticker shock almost every time shop now! 🤷

A shoutout to Safeway East Wenatchee bakery( Cake decorator) thank you for your time and input on making these two delicious cakes. You made them just how I wanted them. I will not go elsewhere for my cakes. Bakery department you rock.💕 🙏🎉

Safeway is a great store, the delicatessen has very good food but don't bother to ask about anything you don't see, like when will you refill an empty pan like the gizzards. You'll not get a definite answer. I would have been happy if they said Tuesday 🙂

Safeway and Pharmacy is a good neighborhood grocery store. Their prices aren't over the top. It's convenient. They keep their shelves stocked so I don't have to go over to Wenatchee during peak traffic hours. The people that work at Safeway are eager to please. I'm very happy to shop there and the store is very clean.

Still tough finding items moved to different locations.Remodel looks great and store is cleanI wish persons in charge could become more aware of the fruit being brought in as what's been available has no taste. These are pricey items we cant just cut open and try at home.Staff is pleasant as always. I'm sure the transition for all has been a challenge.

I like this store... It's very clean, and they have a great deli... The only problem is the prices are to high. Not the sale items... I know it takes a lot of money to keep open. But I'm not rich and I'm a bargain shopper.4 + stars I'd give it a 4.4 stars ..

Update: I have to say I think things have gotten a little better, maybe it was just a few off visits. Employees seem a little more happy at least.I like going here but I would like it better if the staff were a little nicer. I also bought a teriyaki chicken and rice bowl and it was terrible. I have gotten it before and they were good. This time it seemed like everything was overcooked. Maybe it's just me but it seems worse and worse each time i go back there.

Use the bathroom before visiting this store, or hold it until you're somewhere else. I stopped in to get some lunch at the deli. After attempting to use the bathroom, I couldn't bring myself to trust that the kitchen was clean. I went into the men's bathroom, as someone had just gone into the women's. The first thought when I walked in- the person before me must have a UTI. I quickly realized the smell is coming from the room itself. A few steps led me to believe someone had taken a glue stick to the floor. The grime was so thick that it could be scraped off with a putty knife. It extended from around the toilet to under the sink and beyond. With one look at the toilet, sink, and walls, my fight or flight kicked in, and I took off. The bathroom has quite possibly never been cleaned, or the person responsible needs more training. I promptly made my exit. My shoes stuck to the floor with every step to the door. Luckily, it's winter, and I was able to rinse my shoes in a puddle before getting into my car. Rest stops have cleaner bathrooms.

This store is always very clean and most of the staff is so friendly even though they are almost always busy. I do love finding surprise super cute and well made stuffed animals in their floral department along with some cool plant finds. Their seasonal stuff can be unique and fun as well. And I will say they have THE best frozen foods manager as he will help you no matter what your ask is even in the midst of obviously being very busy. And he is funny to boot! I also love the lady that does the self check-out as she is boisterous and funny and always makes me smile whenever I see her.

I was at the pharmacy and some lady who clearly didn’t know what she was doing told me I couldn’t pick up a prescription because the person who it was for didn’t call to give me permission to pick it up while giving me a look like I’m stupid , like whattt??? I’ve been picking up prescriptions for my mom and brother and was never told I needed their permission ,some nice african American lady stepped in and helped me she was super nice and actually knew how to do her job and I went home with my prescriptions 10/10 costumer service for her.

This is your average Safeway that is well ran and kept up. Stocked well and staffed with fine people making it a fine choice for grocery shopping. I'd have given 5 stars but there is no Australian licorice in the candy isle.

Unfortunately, I can't rate this at a 5 like I would have before. They removed any and all seating to enjoy my coffee or lunch from the deli after my exhausting shopping trips worth hundreds of dollars. Now I just swing by for one or two quick items I forgot from a different, more accommodating store.Otherwise this is a clean, friendly staffed, and nice quality store. I would come back if the seating area returned.

I was ordering a Starbucks when I sawThe manager Cristina yelling at a worker across the store. Asking him why was he waiting in line. In which the worker replied saying he’s getting a water because of the heat! Keep it in mind it’s 100 degrees outside !!!! They eventually went back and forth and Cristina did not let him get a drink! When I asked another worker who she was they told me it was Cristina in which she then came at me mad and rudely talking about how he was a lazy worker. That was so disrespectful of her and I hope she gets consequences for her horrible actions.

Produce is usually goodLines are usually fast, both East Wenatchee & Wenatchee have self serve check out.I would not recommend there Pharmacy though, it always takes me an hour + to get my medications.Sometimes you will find Great customer service and mostly everyone is Okay who works there.There usually very good at keeping in stock so that's a +!!!

While I live in Cashmere, usually I shop at Leavenworth Safeway. But work has been in east Wenatchee. I love shopping at this store. No complaints 🙂✅

The customer service at this store is generally pretty good with the exception of the pharmacy. I don't shop here from my daily needs because it is too expensive in my opinion. It is a good start for a late-night runs up until 1 a.m. or fresh donuts first thing in the morning.

I've been shopping here for 15yrs or so. The selection of groceries is nice and prices fair. I know where everything is at. My main complaint used to be that they seemed understaffed. I typically run in a get a few items a couple times per week and it used to suck having to wait in long lines. But now it's way better with the self-checkout lines. The other drawback at this location is the parking lot. It can be a nightmare getting in and out of the lot.
