We switched from our vet of over 10 years that was right down the street to driving almost 15 miles to CWAH because they are totally worth it!

The team is friendly and efficient, and we've never had a delay when needing to bring in a pup for their vaccines or emergency care. Their prices are also fair.

I’ve been a customer of Camas-Washougal Animal Hospital for years, maybe a decade. They’re exceptionally dedicated to pet care and customer care. My senior dog is always seen in a reasonable time, and has received great care for check-ups, health testing, teeth cleaning, etc. As a rescue with high anxiety and specific needs, they always know how to care for him. Every time I’m in the office, the doctor and entire team are very patient and nice (even though their phones never stop ringing, they’re working very long days, and are dealing with very stressful situations). I appreciate this business so much and they’re making a huge impact for the community.

I have gone to camas washougal animal hospital for over 40 years. Always top-notch care. For instance, I had to take my cat in somewhere else for emergency care. They could not figure it.Monica townsend had it within minutes. Just some constipation. Saving me hundreds. Like I said, they're the best.

Took my dog to get his yearly exam for his prescription. I asked for a nail trim. They did the worst job. It doesn’t even look they they did anything the nails are super long still. They charged me 25.00 for it and when I asked them to do a better job they said they couldn’t because it would cause him to bleed. The nails are just as long as when I asked them for the trim, there wants even a point in letting them do it. My dog isn’t very big and there is no reason they couldn’t do a better job he is 18 lbs. They also increased their exams to 60.00. The exam consisted of looking at his teeth on one side telling me he needs a dental that will cost almost 700.00, then telling me he looked old and out she went. No ears or actual looking in the entire mouth. Less than 1 minute. They are starting to be just as expensive as other clinics and I am starting to see no point in using this clinic, especially when you get overcharged for a service that was done extremely poorly or not even at all.

I've been living in the C/W area for over 20 years and have not been regular with our visits to CWAH, which reflects badly on myself for not being diligent about the best care for my fur babies. Sometimes, to be honest I've missed checkups. I've read some of the previous reviews but have never had a traumatic experience due to the staff, or practicing veterinarians being unprofessional. I had to put down my 16 year old buddy and the staff was very compassionate through the process. I was an absolute wreck.I believe CWAH has gone through some turbulence in the past. That said I have seen recent reinvestment in the business with staff and technology, and I believe they're trying to improve the overall experience for both the patients and their owners. Give them a chance, be honest and patient. Taking care of your fur babies can be very emotional for all. Be cordial and kind to the staff, as you expect to be treated. The experience may surprise you.

First went there with my 14 yr old Persian cat about 6 months ago and Dr. Snowden seemed very caring and took his time.Last weekend I noticed my cat wasn’t doing well and had a hard time breathing. Went there and another Doctor thought it could be allergies so she gave him steroid and antibiotics injections. 4 hours later my beloved cat died. I feel that was the wrong treatment and even if he should have been euthanized, at least he wouldn’t have suffered.

My grandmas been taking her pets their for over 20 years. They're the best animal hospital ever, best in the nation/Camas/Vancouver/USA. Very good prices, very good staff. My 16 year old dachshund had 13 teeth pulled, and he has heart problems too. They're the only veterinary clinic that I trust with my senior puppers. I told my dad to take his new baby kitten, who's a maincoon their to get neutered. No problems with it at all. And they're always amazing with payments, they are wonderful. I cant tell you how much they've helped me and my pets. I would trust no other clinic. I trust them with my life. They're a very kind staff and very animal loving.

Service for current clients is terrific. staff is friendly and fast. Been taking my friends dog there for years. However, due to being short staffed, they are not accepting new clients from vancouver, and I've been waiting for 3 years for them to start accepting new clients cause I didn't want to take my dog anywhere else, but now I have to.

Our sweet girl gets great care here at fair prices. The vets take time to explain things and don't try to push for more care than we are comfortable with, like when our elderly cat had what looked like a stroke.

Very good service, can get a little spendy but I also had what I thought was a phenomenal deal. My new little kitty had a blurry spot in one eye, turned out he had an inverted eyelash scratching his eye. They cut the eyelid, stitched it, and he was so happy he does like 90 mph through the house playing with his brother. I was billed like $100, a fifth what I expected. Love them now! Max is the black one, with ZOLO showing his little brother what a killer he is.

When my nephew's black lab Frank appeared to be under the weather he quickly had him seen at camas washougal animal hospital a physical exam was performed and Labs were taken the results of the blood work showed that Frank was incomplete kidney failure my nephew then had to make one of the toughest decisions he's ever had to make to put Frank down so he didn't have to suffer arrangements were made for Frank to be respectfully wrapped in a blanket and for my nephew to return the following day to take Frank to his final resting place when my nephew did as planned and return to C.W.A.H he was informed that his beloved K9 was no longer at this facility and had been transferred to a different location at which time my nephew demanded to where Frank was and why he raced to the address he was given15 minutes after arriving a man approached my nephew's vehicle carrying a black hefty trash bag and thoughtlessly tossed it in the back of the truck my nephew was totally crushed with tears in his eyes and able to speak he just started his truck and drove away the loss of any pet is extremely heartbreaking and especially for my nephew who is one of the kindest souls I've ever known I'm writing this in hopes of making others aware of this heartbreaking experience my nephew is devastated and unable to find comfort and closure in Frank's memory due to this unnecessary traumatic event I am more than angry and feel camas washougal animal hospital should be held accountable for there careless mistakes in which they have made! My nephew's loving Aunt

I've used this clinic for years. Last time had to bring my poor cat there for her last day of life. They were sweet and caring then. I called about taking my current cat in, got told that I haven't been there in the last 3 years and they wouldn't see my cat, then they hung up on me. Coldest response I've ever had from a clinic when looking for help for my animal. Definitely won't be going back here anytime soon. Sorry they can't keep vets around, but if that's the kind of response they give to customers then it's not shocking.

CWAH makes it very easy to support local businesses over chains like Banfield, very friendly caring staff, excellent pricing and they always answer the phone.When my puppy recently broke his toe they got him in right away and fixed him right up, he'll be fully healed in just a few weeks, despite living in Vancouver it is worth the drive.
