Very clean store except restrooms. Lock and handle is broken and such and easy fix yet manemgement put a sign up to say knock because lock doesn't work. Come on manager, spend $25 and guarantee one of your employees will fix. They deserve privacy (so do customers!). Self check worked well, limited parking.

the pharmacy is continuously out of "supply" and customers are forced to go without their prescription for days waiting on their prescriptions to arrive. God forbid you inquire why you've been waiting for a refill for weeks...you'll get a snotty response and told nothing...except they don't know when they'll have it in...Awful experience...strongly recommend another pharmacy provider who has the concern to meet their medication filling obligations...

The people are nice , but this location seems to always be understaffed in the mornings. Either you wait in a long line for the only cashier or use the self checkout and hope nothing goes wrong because nobody will be available to come help you.

The local people call this ghetto Safeway, but I love the small size compared to our Plaza Way Safeway. It's Safeway, a little bit of everything! Small parking lot, but centrally located in Walla Walla!

It's an overly crowded store. There are never enough cashiers even at rush hour, which forces you to the self checkout. You have to use your own bag per Washington law, which in every decent store is fine, but here if you put your bag in the bagging area, it will cause an error stating unknown item in bagging area. If you take the bag and place it in your cart and bag there, you will then have to press skip bagging for every item. Then, after 4 or 5 items, it will not let you continue until a cashier (and there is only one who is handling another line that is backed up) confirms you are not stealing anything.The Safeway on Plaza Way and Albertson's do not have this issue. Just this one store.Southgate Market does not have any self check-outs, reasonable prices, and friendly staff.Avoid Safeway at Rose. It's not worth the stress.

This Safeway looked pretty bougie from the exterior, but was pretty beat up on the inside.There was a good selection of cheap wine, but most everything else seemed quite expensive.It was a good, close option for what we needed.

I'm from Minnesota and we sadly don't have Safeways any longer. Was visiting my mother in Walla Walla. Shipped here twice in a week, everyone was nice (even Starbucks staff) and it was clean.

The older woman who works at the pharmacy is honestly really rude and frustrating. If something isn't right on her screen, she will give zero effort into double checking or trying to resolve the issue. The computer was wrong on my refill date by 14 days. I explained that that was incorrect and I could pick it up that day. She just made a hand gesture, pointed at the screen and gave me a blank stare. So I went home and doubled checked that I was correct. I was. I called and talked to the pharmacist and he worked it out. So I went back and got the meds. It was about a half hour wait in line both times. This is NOT the first issue I've had with her either. I've switched over to Tallman's specifically because of her. They have better customer service.

the manager Steve W called me his slave when i worked here. I've heard he tried to cover up COVID cases at the height of the pandemic and is in general a total creep. the employees are great, especially Nancy.

Love this store in Laveen Arizona. The associates are helpful and pleasant. The whole store knows us and chats with my son. The produce people dab him up and don't care that he samples the grapes and tomatoes. The meat department is knowledgeable and friendly. There is something positive I can say about every department in that store, from the baggers to deli and management. This store is awesome.The store overall is a good value. They have fresh produce. The store reward system is fair and helps save on gas.

The staff is the best quality of this store. It's always nice, clean and well stocked.The prices are, I believe, above average on some items. Other items might be a good deal. Some good deals.I was going to give this Safeway 4 stars because of higher costs, but because of associates like Nancy, Keith & Wanda (&others) this store deserves a five.The Store Manager is always kind.This store deserves five stars because their People make it five-star.

I have been going here for over a year now. I love that everyone knows me and my 2 year old son. They aren't rude or disrespectful. I can get my shopping done quick. The store is very clean. I love if i forget a digital coupon the cashiers are always on top of it. And i love the savings.This evening has brought my rating down 2 stars. I just switched to their pharmacy and now my experience went down the crapper. First the girl on the computer did not understand a simple question, and when the pharmacist finally came over to fix the issue his attitude was very demining. Almost as tho he was judging me for my doctors mistake. I've never felt so little. And i stand tall everyday.

This Safeway is referred to as "ghetto Safeway" by locals, it's not in the nicest part of town and is frequented by the homeless, but it's my favorite place to shop. You won't find nicer employees anywhere and it feels more like a little community, especially if you're a regular there. The cashiers are so friendly, I've seen them use their own money to help cover the remainder for moms buying groceries, help elderly shoppers get home, etc. The pharmacy staff is always kind and efficient, I won't fill my meds anywhere else. All of the staff I've gotten to know over the years ask how about life, how my kids are, etc.

Not too bad, it was busy at the time I went. Getting in and out of the location was okay.Other than that it's kind of a smaller side is Safeway, but still has quite a bit of it's normal stock for what I normally get.

Store: Good, but they close some entrances and exits during the evening hours without putting up signs. The way they give people a heads up is by placing carts in front of the door. This might work for locals, but catches visitors off guard.Products: Good. Stock happened to be low in cough & cold section when I visited. Other shelves were well stocked.Prices: Usual. $5 Fridays (select items discounted to $5) are a nice touch.Staff: Great. They don't bother you like at other stores.

Great customer service!The manager Steve and a sales associate Chelsie helped us with a special purchase. Both were very friendly, professional and caring.And in the past, when there's been a mistake with the check-out process, the management has been quick to make things right : )

Out of the country, wanting to send flowers for a special occasion. I called and described what I wanted. My family sent a picture, raving over how stunning the bouquet was. The florist was SO WONDERFUL to work with and obviously did a fantastic job!

Rose st Safeway puts plaza to shame their customer service is AMAZING! Highly recommend adding the Safeway app as well. I personally am not one to want to do the whole app thing but super easy and plenty worth it there is always hidden savings well worth it!

The pharmacy at this Safeway has always been awesome, they go above and beyond when it comes to any medications or questions you may have. We have used them for at least 10 years and have never had any issues at all. We also do alot of our grocery shopping here too because they are always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this store.

I left movies in my cart and drove away When I got home and discovered that I did not have the movie I drove back to Safeway in a panic. The service desk had a helpful young women helped me look and the asst. manger and the clerk helped me locate my movies. Great service-wonderful employee's.

The people are nice but they're out of everything almost all the time I don't know why they are always out of something every time I go to get something they're always out of one thing I need at least just about every time so I don't give it a high standing but other than that the people are good the store is pretty much clean but other than that it's an okay place I just hate going to the store and send always being out of something and they always are my opinion is one of the worst Safeways I've ever been in

I shop at this Safeway all the time because its close to home and on my way to work. They always have kind and attentive cashiers and typically do well keeping the lines moving quickly. Right behind slbest buy this is my second favorite place to shop. I'm glad they do so well with hiring good people and hope they continue to do so.
