A staple of our valley, this Safeway is clean and provides efficient and friendly service. They have a nice range of products and display items in an appealing way. Check-out staff were kind and speedy, and the whole shopping experience was a pleasant one. Their parking lot is large and puts you in a good position to shop and eat at the other stores nearby as well.

I made a delivery order that was held up by the third-party driver service, and store manager Haley went way out of her way to rectify the loophole and get me my delivery, all with a smile. Safeway is a great company as far as I'm concerned

Love this Safeway compared to the one at the other side of town. More selection, and larger! Always my go-to grocery store. Great flower arrangements! Friendly staff. There's a checker there that makes my day every time I see him! He looks just like Zach Galifinaikas, he's just as funny too!

Mgr took the bell away at the deli. You may have a long wait for service there if crew is working in back. Makes no sense, but typical of this management. Their grocery prices are getting out of hand.

Great experience at the plaza way Safeway. The staff are very helpful and friendly. One can be a little over friendly lol. I know this cashier is just having fun but it does get awkward when they comment on different items im purchasing or loudly comment on the price of various items. Seems quite hyperactive and will attempt to crack jokes after jokes that don't really land. So I have to give the pity smile and chuckle. I didn't get any special needs vibes or anything but if thats the case I apologize.I'm an old man. So maybe I just don't get these kids anymore lol.

I was shopping at the Plaza Safeway yesterday and stopped by the customer service counter. I patiently waited for the employee to get off the phone. When she hung up she left without saying a word to me. I again patiently waited to see if she would return. Finally a young man came to help me. I told him what she did and thanked him for coming to do her job. And to tell her what a great job she was doing. She needs interpersonal skills training and moved to somewhere other than customer service.

I love Rose Street Safeway! Not only is it conveniently located downtown, but because people think that it's "the ghetto Safeway" it's also less crowded, i.e. the shelves are well stocked! Anyone who's been to Albertsons lately has probably noticed that they're consistently out of something in the produce department. Also a fun fact for anyone out there reading this, the plaza Safeway's floral department is higher priced than Rose Street and they use the SAME VENDOR!! The orchids are marked up $10 higher at plaza, which is about a 30% increase for the same item! Who knows what other items are marked higher.. Granted plaza does have more options, like the bakery but that's not really my concern, so I'll stick with Rose Street! 😁

Wonderful produce I love the prices with that being said, the past few weeks of shopping here I have been getting attitude from many of the employees. Serious attitude from a checker (short grey hair older lady) the deli manager, and last week an attitude from the help desk manager( blonde/ reddish hair and glasses) big,big attitude, snapped at me when I asked about substitution on monopoly game items ( which you never have any stock of) I no longer shop at the Safeway near me because of the rude service. I'm running out of Safeways to go to. I love the prices.

This store used to be awesome. Great selection and great service. Ever since Scott (the manager) left, it's not the same.Selection has been revised to 'soft white bread and meat' type selections.Service is non existent.Always long lines as they removed the check out to put in lots of self service. Why am I in charge of doing the checkers work?If that self service automated voice tells me one more time that I must put my purchase in the bag, I'll just walk out and leave the whole mess right there. This Safeway sucks!

I always still shop here because of the coupons. But I try to keep my shopping to pickup and delivery only. It's happened a hand full of times where if I go in to shop with my 3 kids, then I always get a super offensive assumption and I do not enjoy it. Its hard for me to shop with the whole tribe so when I do, I try to stock up for the month if I can. So I get quite a bit. Almost every time I am in store with my kids with one of these cart overflowing shopping trips. They always ask me if I will be paying with EBT. Just because I'm a mom with multiple children getting a large amount of food. Does NOT mean I can't afford them.

It is a nice store. Only concern is they don’t have a robust fresh seafood selection. Fresh crab, mussels, clams, oysters, scallops and fish. Is there no demand for it?I wrote a review on Google and was asked to IM the store manager but had no link.J Davies

Good place to get groceries. Prices are what you would expect from a dedicated grocery store. It is a bit small but they manage to keep a pretty good stock of most of what you need. Definitely better than the selection at Walmart if you can believe that. Would recommend getting groceries from here!

Safeway is very clean, and the workers are always really nice. The fruit and vegetables are always very fresh. Self check out is always fast and easy. If you download their app you can get discounts on items without coupons.

This Safeway is well stocked with premium brands and a great deli. But it I'd also very expensive. I go here for one or two items because they have self checkout and that's quick in and out.

PositivesThe store has good selection and overall the employees were great. The lady at Starbucks was great as well. For the most the various departments were standard issue Safeway.NegativesThe chinese food at the deli looked dried out. The guy behind the counter was broody and did not seem like he wanted to be there. The restroom was questionable, it smelled funny and needs to be remodelled.

It was good...except you were out of the 2.99 93% lean ground beef and you didnt give me the sale price of 1.99 on the water, but instead charged me 3.99. You did give me the other sale prices, though, a rain check on the beef, a friendly clerk and help out with groceries to my car.

Ashley is the best! I don't have insurance and without it my prescription was going to cost $380... She went out of her way and spent a few extra minutes trying different coupon codes until she found one for $150!! No other pharmacy has gone out of their way to get me that good of a deal. She is awesome and I will be going here from now on!

Parking is always hard to find and it's hit and miss on grocery clerks at the checkout. One day you get a pleasant one, the next makes you not want to come back. Every day prices are high, but ad prices are usually the best in town.

Place was packed as usual but checkout was surprisingly quick. And all the items I purchased rang up with correct sale prices too!Parking lot was a mess! They were doing some digging, so over half the lot was unusable.
