Neat little toy store, always worth a walk though at the least.

If this is how a toy store is "meant to be" , you're so much better off taking your kids to any one of the local tasting rooms where they will be treated warmly and with respect! We came shortly after opening on a weekday, we were the only ones in the shop. My daughter literally jumped for joy walking in and was excited to see the train set up. Elderly brunette shopkeeper (who has probably worked there a little too long) ruined our experience! From the unfriendly glares, to basically telling us (with tone!) the kids couldnt try out the open toys because the old wooden floors weren't clean and if they got a splinter it was a "liability issue"! I was shocked!

What a bizarre toy store. It should be renamed a toy museum. I’m a grown adult and I was continually hassled by the owner of the store while I shopped. Even just reading packaging, both my kids and I were stalked relentlessly by the staff. The sad part is it’s a local business that I’d love to support however, the way they speak to their customers is beyond the pale. Take your money to a store that appreciates it’s customer base.

The staff and owner were very rude and hated the kids. They told one of my kids to leave for playing with a toy. We then decided to go to Walmart for my kids to pick out a toy. Highly do not recommend.

I love this little local toyshoppe. I come here every time I'm in town. Lots of cool little toys and learning toys for kids of all ages. I have no problem spending my money here. Even if I can order it on Amazon, I enjoy buying it here. Keeping it local and benefitting local owned business. Keep it up inland octopus 🐙

What a awesome store!! My poor son didn’t even know what a toy store was🤣. We had fun looking at the trains and talking about all the toys! Great owner.

We were treated so horribly at the inland octopus business. In addition, Mrs.Sheryl the cashier didn’t let me enter the store in peace. once we entered I felt a smelly presence behind me and my friends. Furthermore, once we started chatting about the horrible products, Ms.Sheryl came up to me and my friends and told us to leave the smelly store. 👁👄👁

This is the best toy store. They have a little bit of everything. Everything from art supplies to zebras and more. They have stuff for young children obviously, But he has stuff for those of us who are a child at heart. I would highly recommend you visit this place. They have stuff that no one else in the area of Walla Walla has. I hope you get the opportunity to go there. No I do not work there. I just enjoy supporting people who are locals in the area.

This is a local gem -- a whimsical, pleasant toy store with a good variety of merchandise for children of all ages. Staff are helpful and friendly, and they offer a complimentary gift wrapping service that can save the day for those procrastinating gift-shoppers... I highly recommend it, as would my niece and nephew, I'm sure (they are recipients of multiple gifts from this store, and have a strange, nearly magnetic draw to it when in that general area of town). Ha!

Really fun toy shop! They have so much variety. I loved seeing the toys from my childhood on the shelves. We had to pry the kids away from the store because it was so much fun. Reasonable prices as well.

I’m in shock of how we were treated today. Our daughter is medically exempt from wearing a mask and is only 4. The lady behind the counter kept saying it doesn’t matter, after explaining our daughters needs she kept saying it doesn’t matter. So if you support a business who have zero respect for special needs children this would be a place for you to shop. Do your research as a business and understand the exceptions in place. Look through reviews because our daughter with medical needs wasn’t the first to be mistreated here.

Wonderful little toy shop. My daughter loves to watch the miniature trains they have running along the side of the store. Plenty of toys for all ages. A must see for anyone visiting town

This store brought back memories of when I was akid. It has such unique toys that you will have a hard time finding at other brick and mortar toy stores. My kids had a blast and it was so worth the hour drive from the Tri-Cities area to visit. Thank you so much for the terrific experience!

Wholesome, fun store filled with all kinds of educational and non-electronic toys. Surely any kid will be able to find something they can't live without. Friendly staff and complimentary gift wrapping. Certainly worth a visit.

The best toy store in the area. Lots of unique gift ideas for any age. They have a music section, a section for art gifts, STEM toys, models, dolls, and an assortment of unexpected or unusual items.

Just went into Inland Octopus and the person behind the counter demanded everyone is masked. My wife and I were masked and she offered a mask for our 6 year old which we offered to take. Our 4 year old has a hearing aid that gets pulled out by masks and we said she was medically exempt. The lady stated that "doesn't matter in her store". We're in a toy store and you're going to say a special need child doesn't matter? Even after trying to get the point accross she was defiant and steadfast. These people obviously don't need money don't bother giving it to them. Terrible selection and pricing anyways.

I have stopped in here just about every time I have been in Walla Walla. It is wonderful. I used to think many items were overpriced, but today I decided to verify this online. I was wrong. The item I ended up buying for $29.99 was $40 less than any online option I found. There is a good selection of low cost trinkets that are great for young kids. The city of Walla Walla really did the community and the world in general a disservice by forcing the removal of the mural. My daughter misses it. I miss it. This was something that did not need to be fought and it was a very good mural that brightened the neighborhood.Forgot to mention: FREE GIFT WRAPPING.

I live in Western Washington & my Grandson & his family live in Walla Walla. In June it was my Great Granddaughter's birthday. Her parents told me they love shopping at Inland Octopus! I called the store & set up a gift certificate telling the staff my Great Grand Daughter would be coming in to pick her gift, The staff were wonderful so much so I ordered another gift certificate for her brother who’s birthday is on August 22nd.They have four children, so Inland Octopus will be my go to store.
