Enjoyed our visit with Doug (owner/winemaker of Elegante Cellars) immensely. The wine was amazing and Doug provided a private tour of the operations. We learned so much about the hard work, heart and attention to detail that goes into these wonderful wines. The price point on the tasting and wines is excellent as well. Thanks for the tour and great stories Doug!!!

We had a great time tasting the wine lineup and were very impressed with the quality. The owner is also the winemaker/pourer and is very attentive and knowledgeable about all of his wines. The building is fairly good sized and has several parking spaces. The strawberry wine is something that you don’t come upon very often but is delicious. Would recommend 100%

Doug, the owner and wine maker, was very thoughtful and pleasant. ALL of his wines were really good. We enjoyed our visit. It was a really hot day, close to 100°. Doug gave us a box and a frozen water bottle to preserve our wines, while we were stopping at other wineries. We enjoyed our visit

We were in the area and decided to stop in.......... OMG, so glad we did! I have never had such smooth, flavorful wines! Usually you find one wine at a tasting you like, but here, I literally couldn't find 2 I didn't like! Please do yourself a favor and stop here, you won't regret it. They are open during COVID and the facility is safe and sanitized, so don't worry. No reservations needed, but it may be helpful to call and let them know you are stopping by. The owner, Doug, is so knowledgeable & friendly. His dog will welcome you as you come in. Don't pass these wines up! Enjoy! :)

I have to say- WOW. Mostly because the cab I purchased and drank last night made me remember how truly unbelievably good Doug’s wine is. The setting is incredibly modest but when you see the menu you will understand (award after award after award).

Doug, the winemaker, is friendly and nice to talk to while tasting. I like that it's a small operation and done for love more than profit (apparently). The wines are different from the typical Washington reds, in that they are made in a more spare, refined style, and quite balanced despite years in barrels in some cases. I was surprised that some of the wines are startlingly low in alcohol (like less than 12 pct for the malbec), but then, they taste great, so ...

I stumbled upon this gem of a winery as I was driving around the area looking for a different winery, and this nice gentleman was sitting outside on the front porch area with his dog and he waved as I drove by. After I left the other winery, I thought I should stop by Elegante since he waved to me. I'm so glad I did. He was the nicest man who shared with me his passion for winemaking and how he came to be a winemaker. He then took us back into where the wines are made and explained how it's done. No other winery has ever done that for me. And his wines are phenomenal. They are single varietals and I now wish I had purchased more before I left Walla Walla as I have already drank the three bottles I procured. It's worth the trip to visit and I am sure you will feel as welcomed and special as I felt on my visit.

The owner/winemaker poured tastings and was so nice! The wine was absolutely fantastic. Single-varietals and delicious - I bought two bottles. I definitely recommend.
