Was craving a good brick oven pizza and decided to go to Waitsburg and check this place out after looking it up on Google maps. Got there and the place was empty and it looked like it had just been remodeled, very nicely I might add. Ordered a craft your own pizza with pepperoni, onions and bacon. Shortly after the place filled up quick and the waitress Lisa was super busy, however she did an excellent job with a great attitude.. the pizza was very good however it would have been 5 stars if it would have been Canadian Bacon but they don't offer that topping. Had the Basque Cheesecake for dessert and it was really good as well but could have been 5 stars if it had Carmel drizzled on it. I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out for yourself sometime.. I will be back to try some of the other things on the menu..

If you haven't been to American 35 in Waitsburg run don't walk. The food is off the charts amazing. The cocktails are above reproach. Atmosphere is casual but elevated. They have an appetizer of carrots with a Korean glaze topped with feta cheese that will make you cry it's so good. My pizza was one of their signatures pizzas with fig jam roasted garlic and fresh rosemary, it was excellent. May I suggest making sure you get one of their signature pizzas and not your normal pepperoni and cheese, you won't regret it. I can't wait to go back.

This place is great! So excited to have this gem here in Waitsburg. The food was excellent and the service is wonderful!We had the warmed olives and the Mama Lil’s pizza. I’m not usually a fan of olives but would definitely order again. As for the Mama Lil’s pizza, this is quickly becoming my go-to for this place! Just the right amount of spice and packed full of flavor.I love the atmosphere here, and the owner makes you feel like a friend when he speaks to you. We’ll definitely be back!

DELICIOUS. Such an awesome new addition to Waitsburg. Bloody marys and beer were so good, and the pizza is DIVINE. Gluten free crust is as good as regular which took this pizza place to the next level. Every ingredient used is done so with care and you can taste how fresh everything is. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of small town cozy and modern. I love the local Mary mix and how much time was put into making sure this place supports other local businesses. You should definitely make this place a regular stop. Vanessa gave us great service.Vegetarian options: A huge variety of vegetables.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, local.Parking: Accessible parking.Kid-friendliness: Relaxed and comfortable setting with room for big parties. We drive from Walla Walla (a short and scenic 25 minutes) to eat at American 35, because it is THAT good! From the delicious menu (GF friendly), to the helpful, friendly, and attentive servers (Lisa) and the kid-friendly atmosphere, it is our top pick for a family and/or date night out. Keep up the good work American 35 team, and thank you for providing such a great space!

Last Friday evening, myself and 5 friends had an amazingly enjoyable experience of learning how to make pizza dough and then our own creation of custom pizza with Tom and his team at American 35. I highly recommend this as a great team building adventure or a fun night out with friends and family. Fun and delicious, what could be better?

I came here for dinner while I was on a camping trip nearby. I am in LOVE with this place! The staff are all so friendly and the owner, Tom, came over and introduced himself and chatted for a while. The space is an excellent use of an old Main Street building. It is comfortable and inviting while also being classy and somewhat whimsical.Okay, the food. I didn't get a pizza because it was just me and I couldn't eat a whole one myself. I was bummed about this because the pizza selections looked amazing. And woodfired, artisan pizza? Yes please! I did, however get the kale and white bean salad and it was perfect. The dressing was a perfect blend of rich and flavorful with just a hint of heat. The kale was massaged, but not soggy and the white beans were a perfect complement to the dressing. But let's talk about the rhubarb crisp! So, so delicious. It balances sweet and tart perfectly. It's topped with granola and there's just a hint of almond that rounds out the flavors so well. They have an innovative drink list and good local beers. I'll definitely be back. I have to say, traveling in small town America is sometimes challenging to find good vegetarian food. I was delighted to find a restaurant whose menu had so many things I could eat that it was hard to choose. Great work, American 35!

An eclectic place with great food that requires just a bit of a drive from Walla Walla or Tri-Cities . . . that's worth the drive.The pizza was good.Appetizers good.The desserts looked fantastic and the Creme Brulee was some of the best I've ever had, not far off from that one could find on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.

We stayed in the area to near our son's wedding. I ended up hosting the wedding rehearsal dinner at our Air BnB, Stella's Homestead. Tom and Judy, of American 35, personally delivered pizzas and salad. The pizzas were SO GOOD! Tom recommended the fig, rosemary and garlic pizzas. Full of flavor and made with great skill and care. I highly recommend American 35!

There is something special about this place. After visiting many times, we now have adopted it as our "Cheers". The owners, Tom and Judy, always stop and say hi; the wait staff knows our names; we are greeted and seated promptly; servers is attentive and friendly; the menu has our favorites along with new and seasonable fresh offerings that never disappoint; the drinks are an experience. We find ourselves lingering to enjoy the creative surroundings and folks just enjoying each other and the space. Stopped on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Greeted with friendly faces and a comfortable atmosphere. Tom, Judy and staff were warm and welcoming! We enjoyed two craft cocktails each: Bloody Mary’s made with their own specialty mixes and the General Lafayette which included gin, ginger, lime and cucumber. We shared the NW Salad and two pizzas: Chicken Rosemary and the Daily Veg which had fresh tomatoes and local asparagus. Really enjoyed our experience and plan to return. Music was nice; old country, folk and old movies (Godzilla) playing on a super large flatscreen. Chill space with lots of room for any sized group. Roll up doors were open to the fresh air. Highly recommend.
