Love this place but wish I had discovered it sooner. Great finds including local gifts and home goods to take home. Wish I lived in Vashon to enjoy all the general store has to offer. Cool recycled art by a local artist, too.

Very wide range of offerings. There is now a mobile barber on the property. Fruits to be picked or you pick. Gardening supplies and plant nursery. Great selection of out door gear and clothing. Historic Bldg. With steps to enter. You probably have to go to the UPS/FedEx entrances in the rear to be able to roll in for the handicapped.The staff are always charming, attentive and helpful. It's a spot of local color and across the street from the "bicycle in the tree". Made famous by the Berkley Breathed Christmas story.

We had our honeymoon here on the Island and we decided to stop into this cute county store:) I recommend going in to see all of the things they offer, we ended up buying some candles that we could not resist and along the back side of the store we found a Utah Company sitting there on the shelf : )(My Medic) I have a discount code for these medic kits on my website if you’re interested.Definitely stop by, the customer service was amazing, we also walked through the flower shop that shares the parking lot with this store, such a beautiful place.

There is always a reason (planned or not) to go to the Country Store. Creative plant selections, island wear for children & adult clothes, top quality and fashionable garden boots and a full service shipping service. Plus it feels like you have pulled into a hidden Island hide away right off the main highway. Big thumbs up!

Good reviews aren't written often enough. But, when a company goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction it merits accolades. In attempting to exchange an item, purchased while visiting the island, the staff were not only willing to meet back on the mainland for the exchange, Lindsey actually when out of her way to hand deliver the item to my place of work! Thank you so much for your exemplary customer service!

This place is lovely. It's worth just browsing, though I suggest supporting and frequenting the business with your hard earned cash. All staff are helpful. The old wood floors creak with pleasure. Good selection of functional clothing, local wears, decent nursery and reasonable selection of gardening supplies.In particular, as I rely heavily on island shipping services for my business, I strongly recommend the mail room. A couple bad apples at the post office will not only ruin your day, but motivate a search for other post options. For all outgoing mail, these guys can do everything the post office does & more.Unless you pre-print your own labels at home (not too much to ask whenever possible) The Country Store mail room charges an extra fee to process your shipments. When necessary, this service fee is warranted by their patience, access to multiple options, and nuanced understanding of the complicated network of both public & private mail couriers. They may actually express a personal respect for you and your packages. It's both refreshing and extremely helpful.

Fun clothes for outdoors and that warm homey feel! Great boots and slippers! Amazing selection of cool socks and even undies! Super mailing services with UPS and Fed Ex, pick up spot for dry cleaning, dog & cat food and homemade pet treats, farm feed and flowers! What more could we ask for!

Great store but now they charge $2.00 to drop off packages, even if pre-labeled. Without any other UPS drop off point on island (other than small boxes) this seems like taking advantage of a captive audience.

Two words, huge sandwiches. The place serves up some of the finest espresso the islands have to offer. It's a welcome change to the poor restaurant quality coffee that seems so ubiquitous in today's coffee shop dispositions. The hope is that places like this will begin to populate the lands, and become the norm, the standard, and are my expectation
