Jessica and Danielle and their amazing staff are what we’ve been searching for over the last 6 years. We trust them like they are part of our family and they have never let us down. Our two labradoodles love it as well and they receive the best haircuts we’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend The Dog Shop.

I have been taking my big boy long coat Saint Bernard to The Dog Shop for almost two years now. The staff is friendly and they cater to my dogs social needs and give him tons of attention. It is an open floor groomer so dogs walk freely among the other dogs. This place does a great job with my big double coated baby.

Professional, compassionate, reasonably priced and expeditious. I came in with my own anxiety about my dogs nails being trimmed. I tried at home and failed (after watching countless "how to" videos). Give yourself and your dog the break you both deserve and have these wonderful groomers do it for you. And yes, I'm Dori's momma who left with tears of gratitude! We'll be back regularly now that Dori did so well (and her hip dysplasia restricts walks on hard surfaces).THANK YOU!

10/10 do not recommend. Not a client but was driving by and there was a loose dog behind the building off leash but freshly groomed. It wouldn’t come to us so we went inside to ask if anyone in the grooming place knew it. All the employees did and not a single one knew it was left outside off leash. Unsafe and unprofessional. Do not take your dog here.

Megan does INCREDIBLE work! Our dogs never seemed stressed or cry out for us when we go to pick them up which has definitely not been the case at a couple of other places. They look beautiful and we love leaving them, knowing that they are safe and well cared for. We will never take them anywhere else!

I was excited to find a cool dog grooming salon where dogs were free-range (because I have a dog who suffers from claustrophobia and he hates crates and kennels). And I love supporting small business!Over the past couple years I've taken my 3 dogs there about 7 times.I've never really felt appreciated. I don't think I was ever thanked for my business. The two owners are not friendly or engaging. Last week when I called for appointments I was put on hold and forgotten about. They knew it was me, the gal that answered the phone seemed to have my chart up. It happens; shops get busy. I figured they'd call me back. No one did.The next day I made appointments for my dogs at another locally owned shop. The owner was friendly. Inquired about my dogs, any health concerns, their quirks and I don't have to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. I'll give them a couple of tries and post a fair and honest review of their customer service to both me and my pets.If you're treated the same way at The Dog Shop (or anywhere you do business for that matter) remember, you have other options.

I've been going here for about 9 months and each time I go, I get quoted a different price. My small dog gets a shampoo and a dry and of course the included nail trim and hygiene cut, but no cut or fancy work. In that time it has cost me 53.00 to now 59.00 for this. I always tip generously but can no longer afford to come here. Also, it would be nice when you make an appointment if they told you the price before hand. I'm sad I have to leave but it seems to me they could quote each job appropriately to the need and have happy customers that stay the life of the dog, which is what I wanted to do. The groomers are great and I will miss them.

They made getting our dog's nails done a breeze. We have two stressed boys, one Vizsla and one Chihuahua mix. We are just moving to the area and needed to drop the dogs off because their appointment was at the same time as a house showing. The grooming staff was awesome! They not only allowed us to drop the boys off early, but they did a great job on both boy's nails. We're very impressed and will be back!

Probably the best experience I've had with a groomer. Called for an appointment to bathe and do a full coat blowout on my husky. Was quoted $70, which is not that bad, you could spend more at other places and get less. I walk in and all of the ladies there were super friendly. When I picked up my husky the total was only $58 and they did a wonderful job. My huskies fur is super soft, I can pet her without a handful of hair to come after.I definitely recommend this place for anyone that does want a quality grooming. Will be going there in the future.

Thank you for getting my girl Artie sorted. She's never been to a groomer before, and I'm keen to make sure she doesn't get traumatized while she's still young. She was very excited to go in, and happy as a clam when she got home. Appreciate how you've structured your grooming services to create a good experience for the pups.

Wrinkles came home, looking like a new dog! He loved his spa treatment...bath, brushing (I think we could have made another dog with all the hair they removed), nails and tails (anal glands). I appreciate that they use a Dremel tool to file down the nails...and his pads were smoothed off, too. Staff is very professional and still friendly, even during our masked lifestyle. Regular doggy grooming is important and The Dog Shop is a top notch groomer.

I have been bringing my dogs here for about a year now! Staff is so awesome! So sweet and kind!! They care for the dogs like they are their own!! Highly recommend this place! Owner is always there and very involved, great business. Oh, and my dogs always look fantastic, 2 Golden’s and a Newfoundland 👍👍

The ladies here took great care of my furbaby. He looked great when all was said and done. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I especially like that while they were working on my dog and while he was waiting to be picked up he was allowed to roam freely in the back area of the shop instead of being locked up in a kennel.

They treat your dog well, do good service, and it would be a five star review but they are sometimes victims of their own success. Try to get your appointments early in the day otherwise it could take hours to complete your dogs grooming when they get busy.

At the date of this review, we have a 6 month old Golden Doodle puppy. We was a huge fluff ball at this point, so we took him in to get his first cut. They informed us that they don't do full body cuts for first time on pups because it could create a negative experience. I totally get this, makes sense. We brought him in and had them do the anal gland expression, give him a bath (by the way, we bathe him weekly), pluck his ears, cut his nails, and trim his paws and face (couldn't see his eyes). My wife brought him in, and noticed immediately that it wasn't super clean, that there was dog hair everywhere (my thought it "what do you expect"). We paid the fee, which I was okay with and expected. They said our pup was fine and had no problems with all that they did. However, my wife had to clean up his face when she got home because it didn't look very good at all. I WILL SAY THIS....HE DID SMELL GREAT AFTERWARDS!!!Today (2 weeks later from his cut at the Dog Shop) however, we took him into Petco on Forth Plain and SR500 to get a full haircut. When my wife returned to pick him up, the groomer at Petco mentioned that his ears were barely plucked, nails barely cut, and previous grooming around his areas was not very good. They fully plucked his ears, cut his nails, cut his hair short and cleaned up everything.For his first cut, the Dog Shop charged almost $60 for what they did, yet Petco did pretty much the same thing (plus the full haircut) for less than $50. I'm sure the Dog Shop does fine in most situations, but our dog was reported as doing very well for both the Dog Shop and Petco, so I would have expected the Dog Shop to do a little better with the ears and nails. In our personal experience, almost $60 to make him smell good wasn't quite worth it for us (BUT HE DID SMELL GOOD!! HE WAS SOFT, FLUFFY, AND SMELLED GREAT!!!!)This was our personal experience, and is not meant to shy people away from the dog shop, but to help encourage people to expect more from the Dog Shop and that they consider this review constructive. :) If you just want them to bathe your dog, the Dog Shop is great.

I always take Winston here to get a trim, bath, ect...they are very pet oriented. The (well behaved) doggies get to romp and play around with each other and seem to all have a great time. Winston is never stressed to go get a trim, he is always excited. He has only once been placed in a kennel, other times he is running around with the other dogs like he is having a playday. The pricing is fair and I have never picked up Winston and gasped because they did a bad hair cut!
