My last delivery was late but the driver was helpful and I didn’t need to be anywhere , today I was supposed to have delivery between 1-5pm , it was again late but I had my grandsons bday party to attend . I missed my grandsons 10th birthday and Safeway gave me a $5 refund ! They also made a mistake and took $8 out of my debit card when I had paid with EBT .. the money caused me an overdraft and this store wouldn’t refund anything for their mistake . In total it cost me missing my grandsons 10th birthday , $8 plus a $25 overdraft fee . Don’t order from salmon creek , don’t shop in person as their employees don’t do their jobs , I called and spoke to the store director Yolanda at 9am today , she informed me she needs to shopping list with all the information on it before she can say anything . It’s now 3pm and I’m sure she’s gotten all the info she needs . Here’s a thought Safeway . Take accountability for your employees , store director is as bad as the e - commerce employees . @ Safeway I’ve reached out thru chat , I’ve spoken with your store director who never bothered to call me back . As of today you’ve messed up numerous times and the most recent you took $19.58 plus the $7.29 you were suppose to refund , instead you took the $7.29 two more times and the $19.58 I’m now owed $35 plus an overdraft charge from your first mistake . Today 4/27/2024 I was told by Jonathon in .com he’d take care of it and get back to me , that didn’t happen . I’ll be contacting the ATTORNEY GENERAL Monday morning . You owe me $70 and I’m bi longer listening to excuses

This location frequently forces customers to reschedule their order delivery, and a bug in the Safeway app prevents you from doing so.This results in you having to wait a few days for the order to be cancelled, then a few more days to get your money back. You then have to place a new order and wait a day or two for delivery and pray they don’t force you to reschedule again.The dotcom workers try their best to do what they can, but they are over worked and upper management doesn’t seem to care when I speak with them. They promise they will take care of it but nothing is ever done.Basically, there is a high likelihood that the order doesn’t get delivered and your money gets held for up to a week before you can try again.This severely impacts low income, disabled, and elderly individuals that rely on delivery service for food.This has been going on for months and months now. Absolutely terrible.

I work graveyard shift 5 days a week so when I go grocery shopping in the mornings I look a little scruffy to be honest LOL but this particular morning on January 24th at 6:45 a.m. there was an Asian woman who kept bothering me and following me and asking me if I needed help and I swear she was watching me like I was going to steal something and then once I had my cart filled up I saw two employees run to the self-checkout to watch me check out my items and if that wasn't bad enough as soon as I got my receipt I was walking out the door ann that same employee said did you find everything? I said yes but expensive and a joking manner and she replied but hey at least you ain't got to pay for it you're going to drop it off now right? I was honestly kind of speechless I think I mumbled yes when I walked out but once I got to my car I realized she totally assumed that I didn't have enough money to buy my own groceries do not come to this Safeway

I have been going to this location for years..but...not bagging fish in plastic before wrapping in paper is inexcusable. By the time we arrived home the fish wrapped in paper in a cloth bag leaked all over the back end of our SUV..forward to several days later and we now have to have our back sets steamed cleaned because the smell of rotted fish is to much to take. Thanks for being either to cheap or to lazy to put it in a bag

Long story short the deli manager isn't very nice. She especially wasn't happy when I found a cheaper version on aisle three and not five like she told me. I'm sure they're both delicious but the one in the deli was $11.99 and the other one that was a Safeway store brand was only $4.49.

Worst expirence I’ve ever had at a Safeway. The manager whose name is Chris was so rude and cold over a just for you coupon. I’ve been a member with Safeway for years and I’ve also done floors for them and never have I ever had an issue like this or been treated so terribly.The fat boy ice cream was a just for u deal. I purchased one to try them and the coupon said limit 2. I liked the ice cream so I went back today specifically for the ice cream and the cashier Mark was happy to help. I told him I had purchased one prior and would like to buy these with that coupon. He said no problem, manager comes and instantly says “No” you can only use it once. I said yes I understand I’ve only used part of the coupon because it says limit 2. She wanted no part and scolded me embarrassing me making me want to cry in front of the customers behind me. She absolutely should not be managing a store if she thinks it’s worth losing a customer over a 4$ difference. Managers should do anything they can to make the customer happy. I won’t ever shop at this Safeway again. I almost only exclusively shop at Safeway. Chucks has the same prices and treat their customers a whole hell of a lot better. I will be contacting corporate about this matter.

I believe the tall gentleman named Andrew helped me today. He was very helpful getting some items off the top shelf and directing me to the yogurt section. Not very often am I offered help when grocery shopping. Thank you Andrew!

Only one person see loving in their car in the parking lot today. You find them on the shade with their cars backed into the space. Don’t think they are dangerous just really unusual to find them always here at this location. It is better but still a problem. Nice people working at the store. Not a bad store.

Completely unacceptable service. My order was delayed hours canceled with out notification, and when I called there customer service to complain was treated poorly and left on hold intentionally for long periods of time because I asked to file a complaint. Now I have no groceries, no money back and I am supposed to feel like a valued customer. I have a store directors name to call tomorrow, but I have lost all faith in a company I have used for over a decade. I never leave reviews but this was the worst experience. Never shop here unless you want to be treated like garbage.Update:After speaking with Rebecca one of the managers on the dotcom department and Yolanda the store manager my situation was resolved and I was able to get my groceries. I still don't feel 100% compensated but I did appreciate them listening and clearly wanting to help make it right. Thank you for doing so.

This is the only store I go to when in the area. Place is clean and employees are nice and helpful. No rudeness or people to busy to help. They do what they can for you as fast as they have time without cutting out a current customer. Very nice. and they have good chicken.

I am so disappointed. I think Safeway has lost my business forever. Your app is so confusing, reception in the store is terrible, it takes me four times longer to do my shopping to just try to navigate the app so I get an advertised price. Plus in order to use my app I have to use my cell phone which means I lose all my gas rewards that I have on my account that has my home phone number on it. You’re making it difficult for me to just shop. The app experience is terrible with tiny grey print. My review does not reflect on your employees. Your employees are very kind and sweet and helpful.

Another gentleman and I walked into the floral department at around 6:10. Theirs 4 people working the area, one sweeping the front, two putting out flowers, and one in the back preparing flowers. This gentleman and I stand near the counter waiting for assistance. One of the younger ladies approaches the gentleman first in line and asks how she can help. She proceeds to gather some flowers, and in the process, the second younger lady approaches to help. They're being chatty, a little flirty, and continue to select flowers before taking the flowers and putting them together for him in a nice bouquet.Once they're done helping him, one approached me and asked how she could help. I asked for the same thing he just got but was informed they're done wrapping flowers for the night and was turned away. Needless to say, I found the response frustrating but exited none the less.I'm not sure why he was helped, and I wasn't, other than the obvious that he was closer to their age and much more handsome. I also don't understand why on a day heavy with flower transactions, the floral department would be closing only an hour after most people get off work. Overall, it's not a great look, especially from a place I typically get my flowers from.

Selection is different from the others. No long lines so easy in and out if you have a list and know where to go. No one on the floor to assist with locating things hence my 4 star. Prices like the other Safeway. Plenty of baskets ro shop prior entering.

I know the prices can be higher than the thriftier stores. If I am shopping for the month, I probably don't go here. For fresher foods, for sales, and for quick shopping, I prefer this store over most. It isn't packed with people, the lines are short, the aisles with cleaning products are much smaller and the means the odor of the products is much lighter. It is clean and well organized and I don't find myself walking from end to end and back again. Their hot foods are barely above gas station quality but their sushi and deli and ready to heat meals and salads are quite good and family priced.As for staff, if I just compared them to the big store a half mile away, their staff wins hands down. The big store has employees that are repeatedly abusive to the multiple disabled family members whom I care for. Time and again, we have had to submit complaints. When they have needed help at the larger unnamed store, they have separately been told, on more than one occasion, that they should stay home and order. When any of them have needed help at this Safeway, they have been given help! Staff at Safeway is not just not abusive, they have also gone the extra mile. They are polite without being intrusive, and they are patient and thorough.

Went to customer service the other day and Maggie was extremely patient, kind, and helpful. There was a couple ahead of me being a bit troublesome but she remained patient throughout the whole experience. When my time finally came around, she noticed that I had gotten a bit fidgety so she quickly was able to aid me, not in the “I want you out of here” kind of way but moreso in the “I understand you have been waiting so let me help you” manner.
