Love this location. We come in 2× a week. Nails every month. The staff are super friendly they know our names and treat my dog like a celebrity. It's a mental health boost for my dog during our long boring Winters and a reprieve from the heat in summer.

I had a 4 PM appointment for one Frenchie. For a bath and nail trim. I arrived 5 mins after 4 and they refused to still do the services. Waited another 15 mins for a manager before giving up. This place is a joke.Looking for any excuse not to work!Take you pets elsewhere my 2 cents!

DON'T BUY FISH HERE!! I went there the other day and they had a few dead fish in the molly tank (the only tank I looked in) which looked like had super bad cottonmouth. If you got one of those fish that was with them and put it straight into your tank it would kill your whole tank. In fact don't ever buy fish from PetSmart or Petco, you have to go to Portland to one of the dedicated fish stores there like The Wet Spot. There's other good ones in Portland from what I understand too but that's the only place I've been. At The Wet Spot they quarantine all their new fish for 2 weeks to make sure they're not sick before they go into their main tanks and I've gotten six fish from there at four different times and never was one of them sick. Petco and PetSmart don't do that, they'll just toss new fish right into their tanks and I'm pretty sure all their tanks share the same water at Petco and PetSmart, which means if one tank has disease then it'll spread to all of them. The good fish stores in Portland don't do that and they try hard to make sure their fish are healthy and free from disease because they care and because that's their whole business is fish so they don't want to get a bad reputation. PetSmart is great for other things, I've gotten some really really great pets there but don't ever get fish from one of those main pet store chains. Trust me it is not worth it.

Pet Grooming- we tried out the grooming salon at the Hazel Dell Vancouver WA - PETSMART, for our 3yr old Golden Retriever. The ladies were wonderful! Best bath and grooming experience we have ever had at any dog salon. Our groomer was April N., she did a phenomenal job. Our boy was beautiful, his feathers were flowing, his nails and dewclaws were trimmed perfectly, his paw fur and the fur around his bottom were also perfectly trimmed. As most Retrievers he has sensitive skin, April N did a great job rinsing him thoroughly and making sure to use a mild soap/conditioner combo.

Petsmart is good, lines can be long but usually someone will hop on to help out. They always greet you when you come in. Just don't go to Banfield in the morning... those people are awful. They won't acknowledge your existence.

Hanna , an associate there is Awesome. The store was closing the fish department down as I walked in because they are short on help, but after a little begging Hanna helped get the shrimp I have been looking for for months. I would have been so bummed , but she took care of me and even said Thank you with a smile. ( There were probably a few choice words about me over the headsets though) But she made my weekend. Thanks Hanna.

Staff here is friendly and very helpful. I noticed that almost all staff here love their job and genuinely want to help you have an easy shopping trip for your little critters needs. Definitely will shop here again. Bravo Pets mart. Bravo. 5 big full stqrs.

We take our English-setter here for her regular grooming and the staff takes such personal care of our dog it's a comforting feeling when you know she actually enjoys being here. They always do a great job grooming and communicating throughout the whole appointment process.

We needed a fish tank and some equipment for a fish. They had a good variety. We were told that you do have to be 18 to purchase a fish. This makes a lot of sense, especially in a state where you can get an abortion without consent at 14....... staff was very friendly. Great place for pet needs.

This location is always maintained very well, both inside and out. Staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed assistance getting a pass to buy prescription pet food. It's open late and always has what I need in stock, so I come here often!

Seriously slow here. They have a great selection but it’s like they always have 10 people working and only one who can cashier. Every time I’m here the line is about 5 people but takes half an hour to get through because everyone here is super slow and they never open any other registers. Fred Meyer figured it out not sure why PetSmart still sucks.

My little Chihuahua had a spa day. She got the works. I highly recommend their Furminator Treatment. It cleans out all of the loose undercoat fur. Very nice.I also found her a really cute sweatshirt while I waited.

I took my dog to get groomed, when I went to pick her up, I noticed that her left eye was bulging. I asked the groomer what happened and the answer was that they didn’t know. My dog’s eyes were perfectly fine when I dropped her.The grooming manager took us to the vet located in the store, Banfield veterinary. The vet said that it was a prolapse and not a result of an injury, she said that it was “a coincidence that my dog’s eye prolapsed while getting groomed”. She also said that the prolapse (cherry eye) was a permanent Condition requiring surgery to fix it.I didn’t believe her argument of a coincidence and took my dog to a different vet. The next day her eye was back to normal, the bulging eye had disappeared. The second opinion vet said that it was the result of an injury during grooming and not an spontaneous prolapse.Today the store manager called me and she said that she spoke to her staff and they told her that my dog arrived with the prolapsed eye, of course they had no documentation of it because they lied.BE WARE OF THIS STORE GROOMERS THEY WILL INJURE YOUR PET AND LIE ABOUT IT !! The vet from Banfield made up the “coincidence” story to cover the store’s rear end. Totally unethical !!I have taken my dog to banfield veterinary and pet smart grooming for 5 years. I will never go back. Not only they injured my dog and lied about it but also tried to make me look like the liar. It was an infuriating experience. PETSMART WILL WASH THEIR HANDS WHEN THEY INJURE YOUR PET AND LIE IF NECESSARY !!

Meh.. I always come in to buy feeders for my beardie. The last time I went in, I watched one of the staff pick up a cricket off of the floor and put it back in with the feeders. Not long after that, I'm $230 in vet bills, and my baby has parasites. He was completely fine until I fed him crickets from petsmart. I gave 3 stars because usually when I go in, most staff members are nice. There's one that always seems like us coming in is a huge inconvenience for her, and she is always angry when she has to get our feeders. Slamming stuff around, acting huffy and puffy like she doesn't enjoy her job. Sets a negative environment for those in the store. Usually, when we have to interact with her, I try to avoid eye contact and conversation. 🤷‍♀️🤣 Sorry...

Their grooming services are AWESOME!! Kylee did such an exceptional job!! We have super long-haired Pomeranians, and occasionally groomers have trouble getting them fully dry and mat free, but not Kylee:) I love that there is a 7am option and am so pleased with how beautiful my lil babies are!! Their long hair stayed perfect and they were super happy.

First off I want to thank Skyler. She is a trainer at Petsmart and this woman goes above and beyond for her pet families! She knew my puppy was coming in for his first haircut and she went in and told the groomer that if they have a problem settling Harvey down to come get her. Every time we walk in and see Skyler she ALWAYS says Hi to Harvey! (He knows she is the snack lady)Now on to Harvey’s grommet Kharra she was amazing! Words can’t explain how happy I am to have her as Harvey’s groomer! Jordan who is a groomer at PetSmart is amazing! She was able to get an appointment for my Husky at 1230 after I had to pick him up due to him nipping the first lady that tried to shower him. Jordan was able to get him all nice and clean on Monday. I needed this because hr had a doctor appointment on Tuesday. Neutering was scheduled for 7:45 am Tuesfay and he was nice and fresh thanks to Jordan! Highly recommend grooming services with Furminator.

Haiden as a dog trainer is rude, not helpful showing what she’s teaching, can never get a hold of her, and she made my daughter uncomfortable while trying to train Bear. I wasted $140 going to 2 classes out of 6, and if you miss one, she embarrasses you in front of everyone. The classroom is small for too many puppies to train.

Had a person in the register be the rudest person ever 8/2/23 @ 5pm, this cashier had such an attitude, she answered in a very rude way, like a whiny teenager. All I wanted to ask is why my stuff wasn't ringing up the correct price, and I had used coupons too. She answers with, "Well, there is sales tax, so you know." As if that is the right way to talk to a customer plus an answer that had nothing to do with what I asked. My point was that the item wasn't ringing up correctly, as not the price on the tag and i did have the right product, and even when a second employee was called up(that employee had a better attitude), she couldn't understand my question either because the rude cashier kept talking in the background even though she sighed at me and didn't want to help me anymore. If she didn't want to help anymore, then why keep being rude. This used to be the store I shopped at, but not anymore. Now that I know who works there.I've worked retail for many years, and I know what being tired is, but even so, there is no reason to be that rude and give such a bad attitude to any customers.
