You know they are wonderful when your dog is whining and trying to jump around in excitement in the car even though he’s buckled in to the seat. Haha! I love that when I take my boy Charlie in, his little tail is wagging, and he forgets all about me when we walk through those doors. This place is a one stop shop and EVERYONE who works here are amazing human beings who truly and deeply love your pets like their own. He sees Robyn for grooming and she’s just absolutely amazing. Shes so good with him and very patient and he always looks like a million bucks when I pick him up. I can’t say enough good things about this doggy daycare. Oh! They also have Vancouver Dog Walkers here too which my boy uses. Did I mention they are a one stop shop? Talk about convenience Anyways, I love this place and my baby Charlie def LOVES THIS PLACE… 10/10!Thank you to everyone at K9-5, y’all are the best.

Bad communication and very dismissive. When I picked my dog up after his half day temperament test, Mark said that he needs full day next time so they can see how he does after nap time. So I scheduled a full day. I couldn’t make it that day so I rescheduled with Mark for 8-5pm. When I dropped him off, one of front handler said I HAVE to pick him up at 1pm. Even after I told him all my conversations with Mark, he was very dismissive and said I HAVE to pick him up at 1pm without giving me a reason why. He just repeated over and over the 1pm pick up time. Super unwelcoming. Why should I take my dog there again when he was definitely not welcome? So for new clients, maybe ask for a schedule card or something.

Great little place. We have been getting our Summer's nails did here for the past couple months, as we are too chicken to do it ourselves. The employees are all really great and love the animals. Mine is a giant baby when I take her in. She has many earthquakes, but the team is great with her. Her nails come back looking fab and I am able to shop for reparations while she is in her appointment.

This review is based on spa treatment only:I cannot say enough good things about K9. My dog, Bear, is a frequent client with them for their bath and trims. I have been with them for almost a year now and everything about them is great.Very friendly staff. The place is clean. They care about your dogs health so they are on top of it with checking vaccination records. If there is an outbreak at the facility, they are very transparent about it with an immediate email burst to everyone. And I love that it's also a mini pet store as well! They have treats, dog food, dog beer, plush, and so many different toys. I can spend about 30 minutes just checking out the place and a few times I have bought a toy for my dog when I picked him up. They also give you a report card on what they cleaned and how the pet behaved during the spa treatment.Bear gets a bit anxious about anyone touching his paws but he is comfortable around the staff to let them touch his paws so his nails can be trimmed. He always looks happy, healthy and clean upon pick up.The only con about them is that they can be difficult to schedule an appointment with them via phone call. There has been sometimes that I have called multiple of times within their business hours and left a voicemail but did not get a cell back. However it's because they prioritize their time to those who are in the store (drop off or pick up) and often times they are tending to the other animals or cleaning. So they're really busy, in high demand, and they have their priorities straight!Thank you K9 for making Bear look handsome as ever and for instilling such great customer service. I will only recommend them. I made the mistake of trying to look for another groomer because I was unable to reach them. And I instantly regret it as that place had poor health practices and processes and I instantly came back to k9. if you can't get ahold of K9 with a phone call - don't give up! Keep trying. You can't find another groomer that is better so they are worth the wait. Or do a walk in during their walk in hours.

The owners and all of their staff are so attentive and super nice. My dog Kiwi loves going there to play - her tail is wagging when I drop her off and its still wagging when I pick her up. It's obvious the owners really love dogs and put forth a ton of effort to make this a great place for pups. I know my dog is well taken care of when I drop her off.

I called to ask some questions and whoever answered the phone seemed very rushed and unpleasant. I wanted to see if they took large dogs. His responses were very sarcastic just from the phone call alone wouldn't bring my dogs here.

I have been taking my two dogs there for over a year now. We try to go at least once a week for the dogs to play. I absolutely LOVE K9 to Five as they take the best care of my Fur babies. They treat all of their dogs and customers as family. Their grooming is AMAZING! I just had My Golden Retriever Groomed as his groom was better than what I could have asked for. Thank you for all you do Kris and Marc. Jake, Boomer, Izzy, and I REALLY appreciate it.

I really, really love this place. My pup always comes home fully exercised, stimulated, and well-cared for. It's really great walking in and the staff know your dog, their likes/dislikes, routines, etc. Highly, highly recommended.

K9 to five has the friendliest staff! The place is always sparkly clean and all the pups in the daycare always look happy. There's multiple employees back with the pups in the daycare and usually one or two groomers at all times of the day. They open at 7am most days and don't require appointments for nail trimmings. They carry a lot of local pet snacks and toys and have great pricing with monthly deals for puppy daycare as well. We love K9 to five and recommend it to all our friends!

Great staff. Very knowledgeable on handling all breeds of dogs. Has a doggie spa for the spoiling of your fur baby. Josh has helped me better understand some of my dogs behavior. Get report cards daily on your dogs day. Always helpful and very friendly staff!! Can't say enough praise on how we are treated. Love this place!

Oh my gosh, this place is THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!!! Everyone there is so incredible, happy and truly love our dogs! Whenever we are driving, our pups immediately start freaking out as we are going in the direction of this awesome doggy Playcare because they LOVE it!!! They’ve even tried to jump out the window to get in (yay for doggy seatbelts)!Over the past several years we have been able to turn to the team at K9 to Five at the last minute when our shihtzu’s needed to run out their energy.I can’t say enough good things about this place! But the TRUE tell tale is that our dogs LOVE going there every time!Oh and I can’t forget about the amazing groomers too!!! I have been taking my Australian Shepherd to K-9 since he was 8 months old...he is now 4 1/2 years old. I can't say enough about how great K-9 is. The staff are all very caring individuals and Tucker loves going in to play with his doggie friends. The owners always make sure that all dogs are up to date on vaccinations which I appreciate because we don't want other dogs exposing our dog to any illness. Their place is always clean and staff is very friendly. We are so happy to have this place for our dog. Thank you!

I posted the below review 4 yrs ago, and if anything my appreciation of this wonderful company has only increased. We consider these people family, and are incredibly grateful to them for always exceeding our expectations. On a 5 star scale, we give them 10 stars!We are helicopter parents of our puppy Scout. After visiting literally every playcare in Vancouver and surrounds, we had a temperament test done at K9, and then sent puppy for a couple of half-day visits. She was instantly engaged and socialized, and fully protected while she was there. That was 4 months and many many sessions ago, and Scout’s favorite word in the whole wide world is “K9.” She literally jumps straight up into the air when we tell her that’s where she’s going. When she comes home, she is exhausted in a very good way. A tired puppy is a good puppy. We wouldn’t trust our puppy to anyone else. Thank you Kris and Marc for this wonderful facility, and for hiring your excellent staff. 🐶❤️Very happy to say that they are now open on Saturday too, with the doodle and other groups meeting on Sunday, and birthday and other parties in the late afternoon.

Love this place! The staff are wonderful with the dogs and their people. They help teach manners. My dog has people anxiety (specifically with men due to abuse when she was younger) loves the men and women alike and gets excited to go to doggy care.

Over the moon with how great of a job they did with my plushy husky who was overdue for a good de-shedding treatment. He is very dramatic and hates baths, brushing and anything related. I was prepared for them to tell me they couldn’t do everything we came in for, but he came out looking like a brand new dog!! Can’t recommend this place enough. Very welcoming and professional staff. My 2.5 year dog enjoys going here for 5 hour visits, and has continued to improve her interaction comfort with other dogs big and small, as evidenced by Instagram videos posted! The anytime drop off up to 1pm allows max flexibility.I enjoy coming to a newer space which is bright and welcoming, unlike most other daycare options which feel like a warehouse or are not in great repair, and is kept clean all the time.Happy to have this indoor facility during rainy days. Also appreciate the staff who keeps up with each dogs quirks and/or health issues.

One of my pups was pretty insecure about the whole daycare thing. He'd had previous experience with one and just wasn't happy about going. It's been a completely different experience for him at K-9 to Five. The staff is patient, kind, encouraging and they have helped turn my guy around. My female dog adapted right away and now they both love it when I say "Let's go to daycare today!!" K9toFive is my BEST find since moving to Vancouver. Thank you Marc, Kris and all the staff!!
