Amazing customer service and SO MANY food choices! My kitty has food allergies and this is the first store I’ve been to that has multiple kinds of foods she can eat! The staff is great- they know a lot about pet nutrition. Would recommend, especially for parents of pets with dietary restrictions/picky habits!

I’ve been going to Beastie Boutique to buy my dog and cat food for 15 years! I am so happy that they are here in my town. Not only do they carry the best nutritional pet food, all the staff are friendly, caring, and very helpful. Sometimes I’ve gotten answers to health and behavior issues that the vet couldn’t answer! Kris is so understanding and knowledgeable, I’m amazed and grateful that she could help me resolve perplexing pet problems that no one else could. I love supporting such a valuable asset in our pet community. I’ve directed many friends and family there. It has a nice variety and quality of other pet supplies as well.

Just had our dog groomed/bathed/trimmed there. Absolutely the worst job we've ever had. She (the dog) looked like she maybe had a few hairs clipped (not a complete haircut) and smelled like someone had rinsed her lightly (not a bathing). Groomer said that she did a complete cut and bathe....I was very doubtful. Took dog home and the entire family immediately asked if the groomer had done anything at all as they could not see any difference! I called back and after some debate, the groomer agreed to re-do the job. Well, we got a phone call before the appointment stating that the groomer had quit and they had no appointments available!! So, I will now call back and see how I am treated. If I am treated fairly, I will update rating...right now, my rating is fair.Update:Owner and I spoke and she was extremely professional and made many generous offers to compensate for the situation. She handled the situation with concern and care and I am very pleased with the result. I have updated to 4 stars for the great response....I hope that she can get a replacement groomer soon for her business!

Grooming: Had used their grooming for past two years but groomers keep changing. This new groomer cut off the edge of my dog’s ear ( it still looks terrible), then charged me for my other dog that was only half-groomed. I’m still in shock, will never return here.

I need help washing my dog but the other place was charging me a lot and wouldn't even brush his fur!Kat, the Groomer was wonderful, listened to my instructions and used a whitening shampoo and my 15 yr old Jack Russel has never looked better!

I love this store! It is the only shop I trust to get my dog groomed. They are always so kind, patient and give wonderful looking cuts with minimal wait time. I love how knowledgeable everyone is - anytime I have a question about my dog's care, diet, health, etc. they are always happy to discuss it with me and give great suggestions on what to do and what supplements/ food to try. Hands down the best pet shop in Vancouver!

I am so upset with the job I got with the groomer. I have never written a negative review in my entire life, but this was a case of someone not listening and doing a quick job. I iwas asked how I would like my dogs hair cut and I said please just trim around the edges.because I had wanted my dogs coat to be long, she is a Yorkie. I came back to get her and she had Been scalped!!! The "groomer" said sorry it will grow back. I had worked hard to keep my dogs hair tangle free and long and in 15 minutes this woman took it all away!!! It was a horrible job wit long and short pieces and completely lopsided. She didn't seem to care and didn't offer us our money back. We will never go to Beastie Boutique again!!!!!It will take at least a year for it to grow back, if it does

Take my dog there to get their nails cut. Occasionally, I get dog food from them. The owner is well versed in the many types of dog food that would be healthy for your dog.

It was my first time here for my Pomeranian grooming and Kris Groomer she did amazing job just the way I asked and wanted. She made my little fluffy ball look fantastic it’s very hard to find a good groomer for fluffy double coated Pomeranians especially if you want specific style or shape for them not everyone can do that but she did, I’m glad i found this place.

Beastie Boutique is my personal favorite Pet Store in town. Don't let the name Boutique scare you away from this amazing little store with a wonderful grooming salon at the back of the store. Their prices are very competitive and their employees are knowledgeable and so very friendly. Each staff member has their dogs with them when they are at work and I know that is why they are so incredible at their jobs. Beastie Boutique has a wonderful supply of pet clothing and accessories. They sell high quality toys and grooming supplies. Their food and treat selection is incredible and priced very competitively. They have a counter full of special cookies and other treats for pups. They even have puppy cupcakes and birthday cakes! My dog loves getting to pick out her own bones and treats at the easy to reach bone shelves. If you are looking for something specific but they are out, they will happily write down your contact information and call you as soon as they have it back in stock. I only shop for my pet supplies at Beastie Boutique and I never regret my purchases.

Took my 7 month old cocker spaniel in for her first grooming. The staff was very friendly and asked how i wanted her hair cut to look like. After going over everything I was nervous from having bad experiences in the past at other grooming salons. My nerves were eased when Britney called midway through to give me an update on my pup and reassured me she was taking her time since it was my dogs first hair cut and she was nervous. When it was time for pickup i was overjoyed with how her cut turned out, and immediately scheduled her next appointment. Overall wonderful experience.

I bring my small terrier (about 18lbs) here to be groomed and they always do a wonderful job! He gets very nervous about vets and groomers, but he will walk in with the girls in the grooming dept here. He always comes back clean and happy. Their prices are also fair!

This place is AMAZING for dog grooming. I have a giant Malamute/Pyrenees who takes hours to groom, and these guys love him and take such good care of him! My dog never looks better than when he comes home from Beastie Boutique. Plus, he is happy to be there, which makes it even better.

Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable.I feel like I learn something new every time I go in. They are also very helpful and informative. You can tell they have a lot of heart and truly love and care about animals. Always a great experience!We have been getting my dog groomed there for a long time and are always extremely pleased with the end result and love how sweet and kind they are to our dog! Great company, definitely a local store worth patronizing!

I took my small dog in for a toenail trim. When she came out and I went to pay, I was told nail trims are complimentary; tip only. How wonderful is that?! All I had was $5 cash on me, so that is what I offered. When I got my dog home and examined her nails more closely, I saw that her nails had barely been trimmed, so I'm glad I only offered $5. Although it's nice to offer complimentary nail trims, I would rather pay more to have it done right. The boutique offers lots of doggy items that are unusual, but seem high-priced. A great place to go for something one-of-a-kind and the people are very nice.

What a great place! I took my fur baby in for grooming and Lindsay did an awesome job! Wall-E even got a report card showing what products are used and said he was great during the grooming! She has such a gentle touch and that is important to me. I would highly recommend!

Our very shy Husky mix was shedding like crazy. We took her here for her first bath and she came home happy, clean and MUCH less fuzzy. Prices were excellent and the staff took their time to ensure she wasn't stressed out too much. We will definitely return.

Such a gem of a store right in my backyard!! So much variety in pet care for my fur baby. Plus they offer laser therapy and full grooming! We took our pup for a nail trim...they were so gentle and patient with him (he is a fighter with nails). I highly recommend you check them out !!

This is an update after 3 years of good service...update as of march 2022...I called for 3 weeks and could not get an answer or a call back. I finally got through and asked why I never got a return call...a very sarcastic "we were busy" said the groomer...for 3 weeks??? Too busy to return a return clients call?? Sorry I can go anywhere and get treated like I don't matter. I would bet the owner would not like the way the groomer is handling that part of her business. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Today was the first time taking my dog Charlie for haircut and wash. We had been turned away at another location and when I made an appointment for him they were very helpful and were able to schedule him in. Jess and the other staff were very helpful. I was very satisfied with the customer service. I will definitely return.

Walked in and was ignored, mind you there was only one other guest in the store. Had a question about nail trims and the grooming services provided. Felt like I was pulling teeth.Asked about the complex across the street and was told she didn’t know anything and couldn’t help. So needless to say a waste of time and after looking around the store realized everything was highly over priced. I like to support local businesses but not at that price and with that quality of customer service.Was super excited to go in and came out super disappointed.I’m not sure if the quality of my visit is common. However, I did over hear her mention she wouldn’t be able to attend something she really wanted to (when an other employee walked in and went to the back) she then proceeded to make a remark. She scoffed and said “Okay, just leave me here”. I hope her demeanor towards me wasn’t because of that incident she had with her coworker.

The owner and every staff member I talk to are so incredibly knowledgeable. They understand that taking care of your animal can be expensive but they give it to you straight. I could sit and talk to the owner for hours about better ways to take care of my best friend but I take up enough of their time as it is. I don't think that they are too much higher in terms of price and they'll bend over backwards to get you what you need... within reason. Support your local pet store. The big box stores DO NOT care about you or your pet!
