I had a great experience with Mountainside Veterinary on Tuesday 3/26/24. I discovered on Monday that my cat Shadow had been bitten at the base of his tail and it was very swollen. I had knee surgery scheduled for Tuesday where I would need to leave home at 12:30. They got us in at 10:30 on Tuesday and lanced and cleaned his wound, gave him a shot of antibiotics, and sent us home with a new hat for Shadow too. Today/Wed we are both in pretty good shape. His wound is healing and I removed his hat after cleaning the site today and determiningthat he would be ok without it.My knee is in pretty good shape too. It was such a relief to get the right care and just in time too!Mary Kane

Our first visit was about 1 1/2 years ago when our rescue mini poodle first got sick. Mountainside got us in quickly on a referral from another vet. After a big surgery elsewhere she did well. Fast forward a year she started to get sick again. We came back to Mountainside and the care and compassion from Dr. Thomas helped ease the pain. She answered all our questions gave us palliative and comfort meds. Our little girl was so up and down and eventually we were able to be with her at home in the end. Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts for answering my texts for appointments and getting us in. The staff and Vets here are helping us help the animals. ❤️‍

The prices here are great compared to other vets in this area. The facility is clean and well kept, as well as visually very nice looking.The front staff was not only super nice but helpful as well, having no problem helping me with the door while bringing in a large crate.The tech and vet were friendly, informative, and personable, they worked quickly and treated my cat Noodle very kindly. The tech was very informative about prices and going over exactly what they were going to perform on my pet, she made me feel very comfortable.I would definitely recommend this veterinary clinic and will return with my other pets when the time calls.

Phenomenal team from the front desk to the doctor! They got me in same day as a new patient when my cat got into a fight with the other house cat. I previously worked in the veterinary field for almost 10 years and have a hard time finding a place to bring my babies that I trust. I 100% trust them to care for my cats. Leo still smells like another woman, so I know they were loving him the whole day, which makes my heart happy.I will be referring anyone that needs a vet that I know to go to Mountainside! Visited Mountainside for the first time with my nervous beagle today and they did great with her. They were efficient, kind, and kept her as calm as they could. They got us in and out quickly and kept us in a room the whole time which helps her anxiety. Dr. Hellen was great and explained everything well. Pricing was excellent for all that we got at the appointment. I won’t hesitate to bring my other pets here as well.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Mountainside. I first found them when I had an emergency with a cat I'd found in a forest (that's a story for another day), who managed to get her head stuck between chair back slats and fall onto her face... I had been seeing another vet in Kent that just totally shrugged me off. Mountainside got us in right away and I was so impressed with the doctors and staff that I decided this was my babies go-to. They have awesome, convenient on-line scheduling and text-messaging, their front-facing (? I'm in the restaurant industry so not front of house but you know what I mean!) staff is genuine and super sweet, and the veterinarians / nurses are just the absolute best. I have recommended Mountainside to everyone that I can. Ms. Molly as you see here, got a deep dental cleaning and her breath is now not like bad peanut butter. They did such a great job on the cleaning as well as updating this worried puppy mama about sedation. Picture of my sweet lady Molly. This veterinary practice is top notch in numerous ways.We transferred care to Dr.Eibey from another local practice when we found it increasingly challenging to schedule appointments, contact the office without it going to voicemail, and delayed response times for questions or prescription refills. We've been amazed by how streamlined everything is at this clinic - easy to request appointments online and very fast responses from the front desk. Communication has been strong is relation to results from tests and requests for medical records. Any time we've called, we have been met with kindness and genuine caring for our pups.While experience with the overall practice is important to us, we were looking for a vet that loved big dogs and would really get to know them. Dr. Eibey is extremely thorough, patient, and has a great memory. She's given helpful recommendations like a new shot to help with arthritis, cold laser for faster healing, etc. Never pushy and you can tell her love for animals runs deep. Highly recommend this practice.

Everyone at Mountainside is WONDERFUL! They got my fur baby in, same day... so I didn't have to pay urgent care fees. But nowhere else was available for urgent care anyway. Not even her FORMER primary vet office. Mountainside is now her primary care, for as long as we are blessed to have her with us.

This is such a great place! The staff isamazing, super attentive, kind and caring for the pets (and owners too). I couldnt find a vet with availability close to me and was recommended to Mountainside from another vet, and I couldn't be happier. It's further away for us to travel but the attention to detail and care they provide so effortlessly along with the very reasonable and affordable pricing, I will definitely bring my kitten there for a spay procedure as well as my older fur baby for her annual checkup. Very appreciative of Mountainside!

I found this place after having a terrible experience with my long time vet. This place is amazing!! Down to the staff and the vet as well. They were so kind and were great with my dog who can be a little skittish. I'm so happy we found this place

UPDATE today, Sept 15:Had a situation with our long time mobile vet not being able to get us needed UTI meds for our cat before we left the next day for a trip. We had provided a urine sample, she got the results the next day, but due to her mobile unit being out of commission that day, couldn't treat our cat.Called Mountainside in a panic to see if, with the urinalysis results provided by our regular vet, they could give Furface the needed long acting antibiotic injection (so caregiver wouldn't have to give oral meds). They were SO accommodating! Got us in 30 minutes after I called. Saw Dr. Clark. She took her history, looked at the test results, and gave her the needed injection. Now we feel comfortable leaving her.I LOVE this place. I think it's time to change to a brick and mortar vet since our "kids" are now seniors with issues.-----------------------(original post)We've been using a mobile vet for years (I've known her over 20 yrs), but our 12 yr old pup needed an ultrasound and she isn't equipped for that. She referred us to Mountainside.WONDERFUL clinic! When I first called, the young lady told me, "The soonest we could get you in is Friday". I say, "THIS Friday?".I was shocked! Most vets are weeks out for new clients. PLUS, they let you come in with your baby. Since COVID, so many make you wait in your car, which we hate.We had our initial visit with Dr. Clark, then came back a couple days later for the ultrasound. They don't have capability, either, but a "traveling" provider comes as needed.The day of the US, we spoke with Dr. Eibey (spelling?). A lot of info on our baby to breakdown, most of it inconclusive but still concerning. We already knew our girl has an enlarged heart, but now there's more to worry about.The staff and doctors were very polite, caring, concerned about our girl. Finding a vet clinic you trust is such a difficult thing.If you live anywhere near Maple Valley, I'd highly recommend giving them a try!

Had to visit Mountainside Animal Hospital due to urgent needs of my puppy. Dr. Clark was amazing! Her and her tech were so gentle with my fur baby. She did a through evaluation of her leg and muscles. She gave me her professional opinion on what she believes is going on and she was right. As she explained, the injury looked like the one my puppy would get better in a few days and she did. If it didn’t get better in a few days, I would have gone in for x-rays. Thank you for seeing us right away. I’ll definitely go to them first before trying other Vets in the area.

Change is difficult. After finding a veterinarian that worked well with my cats, I was a loyal client for 10 years. But the pet care is evolving, so after a lot of research, I went to Mountainside. Took my cats in for a wellness & pre-dental cleaning check. I was so impressed with the Dr. T., the technician, and the general professional vibe, I signed up for Mountainside's annual care plan. Despite efforts at flea control, my cat was still getting bit. She had an awful dermatitis flare up from her allergy to flea bites. Thankfully, Dr. T. quickly came up with a treatment plan. Kitty baby was all better right after being treated. Thanks Mountainside!

We have been using Mountainside for a couple of years. 3 cats, 3 Golden Retrievers.2 of the goldens were senior. Our current one turned 1 last week. We got the 1 year old when he turned 7 months, took him for a wellness check and discussed neutering. The current mind set is to leave them intact until at least one year of age. We decided to wait, following their recommendation, until 1 year. What we weren't told was that if you wait 1 year there will be blood work required costing an extra $130. Had I known that from the start I would have had the procedure done a week ago. Not happy. We will be switching to another Vet.

Switched to Mountainside over a year ago and couldn't be happier. Super clean and modern building, front desk is very kind, techs are professional and fun, doctors are knowledgeable and professional.They found a mass on my dog that was removed same day and were extremely transparent throughout the entire process. That's all you can ask for in a scary and uncertain time as a pet owner.Going to the vet is something you don't often look forward to, but I wouldn't go want to go anywhere else.

Mountainside Animal Hospital is amazing. I needed to get my dog in ASAP a few weeks back and they were able to get here in that day. The DVM we saw was thorough and explained everything-also followed up later that day and the next just like she promised. Updated review: I fully stand by every good thing mentioned previously and then some. Since our first visit, my pup has unfortunately had to go back for several other issues and I couldn't be more happy with the way the staff has always been there for him. My pup is not even 2 and has been through this, that and then some! Dr. Clark has been amazing in keeping up with it all and the entire staff of techs have been more than patient with him. In return, I have seen such a great trust form between them and my pup which makes it so much easier when he gets himself into trouble. He definitely doesn't want to be at the vet but knows he is in good hands with all of the love he gives the Dr. and staff. I look forward to a long relationship with this practice as we see my crazy pup through his life alongside his feline roommate.Previous:We recently switched vets to Mountainside and so far we love it. I've had animals all my life and have dealt with a lot of vets. At this point, I feel like I know we're in good hands and when we're not. I have had nothing but good experiences here so far. We're still new and have done only routine stuff so but the staff is friendly, the location is clean and nice. I like the big waiting area in front so animals that may not be social can be easily maneuvered around each other safely. The staff even put up with my very wiggly pup that really didn't want to be looked at. And our new cat that tried to escape after a few shots. They are incredibly patient and understanding when even well behaved animals make it clear they would rather be somewhere else. So far so good and hopefully we have found our new lifelong vet care with Mountainside.

Took my recent rescue to have an exam and checked out since she has been having some ear issues. It was my first time at Mountainside and requesting an appointment and completing new client forms online we’re a breeze. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the staff and Dr were all caring and wonderful. I would definitely recommend. We will be back again as our sweet baby needs to have some much needed dental issues addressed

I've been impressed by Mountainside. I have pugs and one is elderly. Pugs are a breed with a lot of issues and my eldest is senior and any elderly pup is not easy.I feel they've taken amazing care of my elder pug and they were kind to me in the process.They are thorough with the exams but don't make it unpleasant for my baby. The tech and vet will get on the floor and make him comfortable before proceeding with anything. This means the world to me.They offer good insight that compounds other vets (my sr pug is ill and the three vets are working together).I'll update this review with the vet's name later. She was knowledgeable but also kind to me and my baby.I'm thankful for the level of care they offer.

We brought our senior Papillon here after a series of bad experiences at our former vet clinic. Everyone was so gentle with him and they made the whole experience much less stressful on all of us. Dr. Thomas was very thorough and took her time to understand his history and his current situation. We left feeling like our precious boy was finally getting the kind of care he deserves.
