We haven’t been here since the renovations, so it was a pleasant surprise at how nice, cozy and clean the place was. We stopped in on a lazy Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all.The waitress was friendly and quick. She brought water and menus, and came back to take our order in timely fashion. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Swiss special with tater tots, my husband got the Patty Melt with tots. The food came quickly and was nice and hot. The sandwiches were grilled perfectly and chock full of meat! I could only eat half of my sandwich, it was filling. The tots were crisp and crunchy, but soft in the middle, as tots should be! My husband said the Patty Melt was delicious. He was pleased with the quality of the burger inside. We were both well pleased!The bathrooms were also very spacious and clean! That’s always a good sign, if you ask me! There is also a nice parking area right out in front of the restaurant.Don’t hesitate to swing on into the Duck Inn if you happen to be going by. It’ll make your belly happy.Parking: Good parking right off the highway.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair to navigate.

With Hwy 30 being closed due to landslide - we went home on Hwy 4. We stopped here for lunch around noon on a Sunday. Restaurant area was not crowded but the lounge was busy. Super clean, organized and welcoming. We picked our table and our waiter took our order fast. Drinks were brought (water & Pepsi) and our lunch order was right behind it. I selected the French Dip with coleslaw. It did not disappoint. My husband selected the Chicken Bacon Wrap w/Onion Rings. There was a $3 up charge but that was fine. He ate it all so I think it was good (and he also isn’t a fan of chicken but like I said he ate it all). I did steal an onion ring - they were good as well. Prime rib night was a waste of money. Salad was fine, appetizer was mediocre (tator tots with nacho cheese on them), asked for medium rare steak and was given a thin dry well done piece of meat. The baked potato must've been keeping warm for hours because that was very dry too. Was supposed to come with "fresh vegetables" but got literally two thin pieces of asparagus. Had to get up and ask for silverware after asking once and it never came. Not to mention the food took 30 min to get to the table. I didn't expect anything amazing but this was disappointing.

Food here never disappoints, much better than all the places I've tried in Longview. All their sandwiches and burgers are good, the steaks are delicious I just wish they had larger portions. Clam chowder is tasty, and if you're looking at apps the jalapeño poppers and crab stuffed avocado are too good to pass up.Easygoing atmosphere without being rowdy. The attention from wait staff has always been between minimal to just enough, although I think they might follow an unspoken refill limit on the soda (1 unless you ask for a second). But I can't say for sure.They also tend to have decent specials too, just check their Facebook page.Parking: Spaces are made with trucks in mind

Food is always good, prices are fair. Best clam chowder. Chicken fried steak is great and the T-bone steak was very good. bar is a very busy and sometimes uses all the serving help so the restaurant suffers.Parking: All parking is in front of the restaurant, fills up quickly.

What an awesome spot! I had some awesome clam chowder, super light and fluffy!They have a Christmas tree set up with presents for boys and girls set up under the tree and kids can choose one. Such a cute thing to do, totally the kind of thing genuinely nice people do.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice and flat Parking/ entrance

We go to the Duck every year around this time. We have a family reunion at Vista Park, which is close by, so we always stop in for food and drinks. The staff is amazing and always quick to greet you and get things ordered. Don't order chicken fried steak if you're expecting a country gravy. They serve it with a brown gravy, and it's just not the same. I had the salmon, and it was good 👍 we usually love the fried green beans but didn't have them this year. A few in our party had the Super Dip and raved about how good that was. 😋Kid-friendliness: We had teenagers with us who wanted to eat alone, so we set them up in the restaurant and then hung out on the lounge side. They took great care of all of us.

Your server determines your experience. The first night we went, the server got our order wrong, never offered to refill our drinks and was generally disinterested in her job.The second night, we felt like family. The server was so gracious and attentive. Our food was phenomenal! It was a lovely evening.

I ate here recently and experienced some lovely service for me and my family. Their chicken baskets and their burgers are of excellent quality, also the riverside aesthetic really feeds into the quality of my experience. The food can take a while on busy occasions though. Also, Thursdays the bar is PACKED!Parking: There over 20 spots for parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility. The road is on the same level as the floor of the restaurant, no elevation changes necessary. The doors are also wide enough.

Unexpected little gem of a restaurant! We were camping nearby and looking for a place for dinner. So glad we found Duck Inn. The views were incredible and peaceful; service was prompt and friendly; menu had lots of options; and food was well prepared and tasty. Highly recommend!

Tried this place for the first time with a co-worker today. I had the fish and chips and they had mini tacos and the chicken bacon ranch wrap. My fish was good, tasty and the breading wasn't too thick, which I appreciate. The fries were disappointing, only because they are basically the same thing you get at McDonald's. I prefer crinkle cut or steak fries myself.My co-workers food was great. The little mini tacos were tasty bar food and the wrap had wonderful flavor and was huge. Their ranch dressing is super tasty and so was their tartar sauce.Overall I am excited to come back and try some different stuff.

Charming. Clean. Cozy.Great place to stop between the coast and Longview along a nice scenic route.Put this place in a city and you will have long wait times to be served.Employees always make you feel welcome.Oh yeah! My favorite is the fish and chips, but the chowder, shrimp and burgers are really good.Haven't been to the lounge yet. It looks like a good evening of fun with friends.

Love this place! Great service and such a cool outdoor seating area with an awesome view. We had the tuna fish and chips. 3 piece. The pieces were as big as the palm of my hand! They were not greasy and were oh so delicious. We ended up getting a to go box for what we couldn't eat. Such a gem.

Let me start by saying that I honestly do not leave reviews on Google. But yesterday was my Grandfather’s 90th birthday and Aunt’s 80th birthday party and, as a group, we were blown away by the service and attentiveness from the staff. So I was compelled to leave my thoughts. There were 30+ people in attendance and even with that the service staff and kitchen was able to keep up with the demand. Cannot say enough good things except for thank you for helping make this an event to remember!!!

What a nice place to stop while out on a motorcycle ride. I did not expect this bar to be this nice inside. Great patio in the back as well so you can sit in the sun. Had a bacon cheeseburger and a pint. The staff was very friendly and service was quick.

Had a wonderful dinner with my wife on Saturday evening. Food was very good. Salad seemed to be from baby greens, definitely was not Iceberg lettuce as there was lots of color and ruffled edges. Service was good but I did have to ask each time that I wanted my drink refilled even though we were the only people in the restaurant half of the establishment. We would definitely go back.
