Horrible management!! When you ask for a manager and the manager does not bother to come to the front and assist you but rather send the employee back as her messenger (keep in mind the employee could not resolve the issue on her own). Manager on site was Elizabeth. They need to replace her. This is not the first time she mishandles a situation. Last time I take any business there!!!

The store has a lot of what you need for any type of animals almost they sell snakes reptiles and other things as well so if these are some things that you're interested in the store is pretty cool I think you'll like it

I went in Petco not knowing where any of the items were that I needed to get and I was on a time crunch.Connor who is an employee there was extremely helpful! In just a few minutes he found the 4 items I needed. He knew exactly where everything was.Also Lynn the cashier was a sweetheart! She was so friendly and helpful!

Terrible, terrible grooming service!!!! I dropped my dog off and not even five minutes later the groomers called me to come pick him up. Barely gave my dog any time to come off his overstimulation, super unprofessional, we waited all day to get my boy groomed…. I really hope you guys lose all you grooming services!!!! I know none of these pet store chains are worth going to for grooming, but when you’re on a time crunch and need something done last minute, your dog shouldn’t be turned away so abruptly and not given a chance… seriously customer service nowadays is nonexistent

I went in for Science Diet Puppy Wet food. I found just the right amount of the food I needed, I found the Lamb Chops toy I was needing to replace. I was kindly directed during my visit.

Great place like always. They price match, even their own website. The store was clean. The animals are well cared for. The shelves are stocked. The cashier was fast and friendly. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. They have a nice selection of pet food from high end to cheap. I was asked if I needed help by 2 different workers.

I set up an appointment for petco dog grooming on the app. i selected bath only. i had someone to take the dog while i was working and apparently the groomer Carina asked them if they wanted deshedding and they said yes because they thought it was brushing. She didn’t say it was a package or it was an extra $30.I called customer service and asked if it’s possible to refund because it was misinformation. they said no (and that’s it’s ok) but they said it’s not their job to tell us it was an extra charge and it was on the paper we signed who actually reads the paper????They said they ask for extra stuff just in case to help someone who doesn’t know how to use the app…. at least the app tells you prices and doesn’t scam you 30 bucks when you have to pay. So how does that help? make that make sense….that’s gas money or bath WITH haircut.I usually have a different groomer and i ADORE her but she wasn’t available, next time i’ll wait ig .Just leaving this here for everyone to see, Camila do better✌️

They have such a good variety and I have recently changed my dog to Nulo and even just that brand offers a great variety at the store. I haven't used it yet but love the online options as well

I got two orandas here and they were dead within 2 weeks from ich. I had no other fish in the tank. Went back a few weeks later after treating the tank and making sure it was safe and the tanks at the store were full of dead and dying fish. So sad. Do better.

It's the worst. I hate shopping there to get mice from my hide shop there for anything. They ask you 10 times what your number is. That keep track of what you buy how you buy Tr. Acking these newsletters, not my point. My point is this stop asking me 10 times what my phone number is come for the new policy.

Went into the store and found what I was looking for, and was greeted with a smile, and friendly welcome. That alone is worth the visit. When you walk in, you smell the dog food, treats, aquarium water, and makes you feel like your nature and to our dog get excited to walk around is so cool. He's like a kid in a candy store, and you can see it in his face, "what's this, what's that", and the best part is this, its ok for him to walk around with us in the store, and not have to sit in the car. Just to see him interact with others dogs, smell around, get a new toy is the best. We walk in, he smells things, wants to go, but listens and minds his manners. So that alone is cool to see him understand that its ok to walk around with us, but its he knows there's rules. We get him a toy, he carries it around, and acts like he just won the Billion Dollar Lottery or something, its really something too see. After we get his toy, we get his food, walk by the obedience class section, and he gets to see other dogs working. The instructor says sit, and he was sitting to. So funny and cool to see him want to get in there and show off his tricks he knows. Got him some tiny, tiny, clothes, and treats, and teeth chews that he loves. This little guy thinks he's human, and is so hygiene conscience, which is crazy cool. He is so clean, and don't like dirt, or mud. We call him High Class because he acts like it. When we check out, he stands on the check out counter, and sits down, waiting for a treat, and is a little gentleman with his well mannered temperament and style. He's a small dog, and we have groomed him to have a mustache, and beard. So we got him a tiny, tiny plaid vest shirt. We got him a hat, and some glasses, and he will wear them without taking them off. So this little guy and all his talents, deserve the best in food, hygiene products and toys, and that why we choose Petco to shop at for all our our pets needs. Thank you Petco for being a great store, with great prices. Have a great day. From a 1-10, I rate you a 9.5.

STAY AWAY!!!! Have to beg for help. Dead fish in multiple tanks. Rude attitude and harassment regarding a return. After I explained that a manager told me to return the item, the unprofessional treatment escalated. I will NEVER walk into this store again!

I highly recommend you book your next grooming appointment with Evelyn! Our first time at the groomers and it was a great experience when we arrived she came out to greet us and made sure we felt comfortable she explained the in and outs of the appointment was very professional and kind and when I picked my dog up I noticed the little details but not only that he never smelt or looked better! I am very happy with the service we received will definitely be booking with her again

Evelyn from grooming is so nice & really pays attention to your dogs needs. I took in my dog for a bath due to flys always biting his ears and him having the bits turn into scabs. When I got him back his ears were so soft And clean & he smelled good and got his teeth brushed and nails buffed she did awesome I definitely recommend her❤️

Do NOT leave your Dog unattended in the grooming salon for one Miniute. I witnessed how dog's are treated when their owners leave the salon. PetCo in Union Gap is the worse. Take You're business elsewhere please. Thankyou!

While this is not the biggest store that there is, it is well-stocked and I have never failed to find what I'm looking for. I do not visit this store that much, and in fact, it had been a couple of years since I had last stepped foot in this store. While some of the employees have changed, I have never had an issue with them, and they have always been professional towards me and have always been able to assist me. Overall, while I do not have a great need to visit this store, I think it deserves the 5-star rating simply for the convenience and the professionalism of the staff. Besides, their selection of fish is pretty good, and I am probably going to keep visiting to keep adding to my fish collection.

Started keeping fish about a year ago. Have bought fish here probably 5 or 6 different times with the help of several different employees. I thought I got lucky that the fish expert helped me the first time but now I’ve gotten help from several different employees and it seems they always have someone there that incredibly knowledgeable about fish and it seems they really take pride in this department. Highly recommend going here for fish especially if your new to it like me and want advice and tips about keeping your fish. Very impressed!

We were doing a quick run. The dog food we wanted was by the door as we entered. There were only 2 cashiers, and apparently no one else working. The one cashier was over catching mice. The other cashier was trying to get a person buying a fish signed up for some membership.

I will never go back to this store because I was followed by the employees every isle I went down. Suggesting that they thought I was going to steal something 😞. Even through the check out. I was going to ask for the manager but one of the people who were following me was waiting at the front if the store to see what I put on the counter. The cashier was stretching his muscles and looking at me like he was ready to chase me out of the door if he needed to. Felt very frustrated and not welcoming to go back for any reason ever. And yes, I am a senior person who is Black. The manager was white, and the other employees were Mexican. Very unprofessional but I guess that's how they are trained to be with people that are different than they are.
