Because of a burglary at my storage facility I found myself needing to purchase 3 new bows. I had called the day before and their associate Bailey in the archery depart was aware I would be there. He was awaiting my arrival and got strait to business, helping me pick bows that would suit my needs. I was purchasing 2 bows that would need to fit needs of my 8 and 10 year old sons, as well as one for myself. After we had picked the bows we wish to purchase, he got right to work setting them up. As he set them up, he also had questions from other customers but answered, and returned to his task. I was very happy with the service I received. From from setting up the bows, installing new sight on one, getting draw length and correct draw weight for my boys, all was done with efficiency. He also had to cut 3 dozen arrows to length. To say I was happy with service would be understatement. Will definitely use Union Gap Cabelas for my further outdoor needs.

Me and my wife walk went into the gun department with a strong determination to get a handgun for both of us, but they quickly changed after the way we were treated. We asked 3 different employers for help due to they were just standing there joking around with each other. We stood there for 20 minutes looking like fools. Sad too say the trend of how certain demographics get treated is still going.

I purchased a firearm using a temporary driver's license because I had to change my address. They happily took my money and started the process of the background check. I waited the 8 days and was approved. I went back to pick up my firearm but they wouldn't release it to me with the same identification. I even had my passport for additional verification. They still did not release what I had purchased with the same identification. They wanted to run the paperwork again and I declined and demanded my money back. I will never go into a Cabela's again. I'm sure they will do fine without my money. I DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DUPLICITOUS PEOPLE.

My granddaughter was in there last night, a lady with 2 dogs told them it was ok the dogs are nice and to come see them. A dog bit her in the face and no one was concerned or even attempted to help! Shame on your staff. Blood all over her face no one cared went to see Santa ended up in the ER.

I had someone named Isreal at the gun counter help me find an adjustable vest for my duck dog! He helped me very quickly and showed me the options! Will definitely be returning!

Customer service in the gun department is a joke. Good luck if you ask for any help. And don’t even ask them to order anything for you. Way too much work for them.

Lorenz spent over an hour helping us set up reels and get ready for our fly fishing trip to Colorado. We are travel nurses from Alabama and he made us feel very welcomed and gave us lots of insight and knowledge. Will be back!

Most of the time I have a good experience, others I feel like people follow around and are a little cranky. Some of the guys are super helpful like Glen. He is awesome and is always quick to help right away.

Visited this store on Father's Day. Daughter was trying to buy me a PM2. We had hit a west side cabelas 1st, but they only had display and refused to sell. Union Gap store was also down to the display model, but did not hesitate to find the box and sell us the knife. Great service, and an awesome Father's Day present. And USA made!

I would give zero stars if I could. The employees at this location have got to be the laziest most unhelpful of any Cabelas I’ve ever been too. The management at this place must be terrible or else it would be a much better shopping experience. I left and went elsewhere after having stood around customer service waiting for anyone to acknowledge me while the employees that were women stood around speaking Spanish to each other and ignoring my presence. Alls I wanted was a Discovery pass. I am disappointed that for Union Gap/ Yakima this is my only choice really if I want to shop at a sportsman store. They obviously have a management problem or lack of management that they would employ such lack luster people to represent their company . What happened to good customer service or even acknowledgment?Get it together and find people who want to actually do their job or find new management that will train and train some more on how to actually do work while at work. Its despicable that the atmosphere of this place is so blah and uneventful in comparison to other hunting and camping stores and I thought Bimart was bad but looks like that’s who will be getting my business from now on. Do better!

even though they advertise black powder supplies, don't be too excited. They have black powder but there no wads, caps, balls, or much of anything else. if you are looking for black powder supplies in Yakima, I wish you the best of luck, I ended up shopping online.

Employees are great and customer service is not bad at all, but I'm leaving one star because this store price scalps. Whoever is in charge of the store is scalping their customers to make up for the stores lack of sales.You can find Cabelas brand products on the Cabelas website for less than what they charge in-store. They also scalp ammo and camping tools over $50 scalped price on bulk ammo. A coghlan axe with an MSRP of $9.99 being sold for $18.99. Camp stoves are priced more than $100 above MSRP.

They added a $5 donation to my total without asking or even mentioning it. I didn’t notice until my CC transaction was more than the amount the cashier said the total was. Had to drive back to the store to get it refunded. What a scam.

Checking out was the experience that ruined it for me. Not once but this is the second time the same woman was basically harassing me to get a credit card she was friendly at first until I told her no because I would get denied and she replied with "everyone says that and gets approved" well listen up I know I would get denied because we just bought a house. I don't need a cabelas credit card should be happy we already spend a lot of money there! Her whole demeanor changed after I told her no for the 3rd time. She wouldn't even speak to me then started speaking to the customer behind me while she finished checking me out. Gave me my receipt I told her "thank you" and she wouldn't even respond or look at me. This year I'll be buying my hunting gear somewhere else. She did this last year to me after I spent over $400 in hunting gear. Will let the rest of my family know not to go here anymore as well.

Big store, insane selection with so much to get. Potato chips? Really good kettle chips. Coffee? Black Rifle Coffee is available. Ammunition? They have loads of it! There's so much stuff I can't be walking around because all of a sudden it seems I need a new pair of boots, a new hunting shotgun and 30 boxes of slugs!

Great service, great products, and great prices. Every associate was cordial and helped you as much as you needed. Each associate made you feel special, and welcomed. BIG thumbs up to all those who helped me and my family, and the associate in the sunglasses depart was super cool. Made our experience in that department awesome, give him a raise. Awesome products, but sour sales staff. The sales staff is not very friendly nor do they "look" for or "hunt" for customers that might have questions. The sales staff needs some "used car salesman" training.
