Wow, great views and even better wines! You can sit inside or out. The patio has picnic tables and Adirondack chairs on a lawn overlooking the vineyard, viewing out to Mt.Hood. Liked the wines enough to join the club and buy a case. Will be back !

I almost don’t want to write how wonderful this place is so that it doesn’t get overrun by people! My husband and I had such a lovely picnic. We got two wine tastings and a charcuterie board/picnic food. It was a very relaxing evening with a stunning view! Definitely recommend going out here for a date or such.

Very cute, well thought out property with space heaters as well as sun shades. Tasty wines. Outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly (had dog gelato on the menu) also human snacks available. More expensive tasting fee but comparable bottle prices with the other tasting rooms in the area.

Everyone who works here is literally a saint. The wine is soo good, but the service and views MAKE this place heaven! I cannot wait to come back. We brought our two dogs and two year old. Everyone had the best time. You are doing yourself a disservice by not stopping in.

My wife and I have tasted all around the gorge (as well as many other regions) and I can honestly say that the wine and staff at Hawkins is top notch. We were particularly impressed with the service we got from Casandra. Thank you for such a fantastic experience.

Fantastic wine. Love both the Pinot and Cabernet. And such a wonderful view with warm tasting environment.. eventhough outside! Plenty of fire pits, heaters and yummy picnic basket snacks! We'll definitely be back!

Wine was spectacular! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful weather. The young lady who served us was extremely knowledgeable about the wines they make. Highly recommend visiting this winery

My wife and I went to Hawkins in Underwood, WA yesterday for a tasting. Beautiful views across the Columbia towards Mt. Hood from this location. We tasted all five wines on the tasting menu. The rose was very nice and we loved the Viogner. The Pinot Noir was also very nice but far from the best in the Columbia Gorge AVA. We then tried the Caldera Red, which was not remotely good. No complexity at all. It felt like this blend was an afterthought. Lastly, the Cabernet was also just boring.The employee working the tasting room knew nothing about wine, didn't share with us anything about the wines, mispronounced Pinot Noir and Viognier, and seemed to think a red blend with 3% Viognier is something unique, which is not the case for anyone who knows and likes a good blend. The lack of knowledge from this employee didn't bode well for us, as we want the exact opposite; someone who knows wine, knows the wines they are pouring, and can share their excitement and passion to help elevate the experience.

Excellent wine with a fantastic view, low key vibe, and super knowledgeable staff. First, the wine was was lovely, our favorite was the syrah but everything was good. I'm a cork dork and the lady unfortunate enough to serve us was so good I started to intentionally make my questions pointlessly hard for funsies, but she was on it! She knew soil types, vineyard aspects, residual sugar levels, stupid stuff just off the cuff on the spot. Only time I stumped her was with what Forest the barrels were sourced from, which she promised to research for next time. And don't worry I tipped, and she was genuinely laughing, I wouldn't have harassed her had I not thought she was genuinely enjoying the challenge.

Wine was decent but service was bad. After buying food and TWO bottles of wine, still charged a tasting fee. Seriously poor form. We have a huge wine group who will come to the area but will NOT go here now because of it.
