After a recent visit to this local meat store, I must say it's honestly remarkably average compared to other options in the area. While it didn't leave me awestruck, it also didn't disappoint too greatly.In general - The meat selection is decent, with all the basics you'd expect, but nothing particularly unique or outstanding (for example - If you are looking for beef heart, be advised this place doesn’t carry it). On the negative side - due to location depending on which direction you’re traveling it can be a bit awkward to get into the parking lot from the Blvd depending on traffic density. But it’s not too crazy. Also they do not take some major credit cards, like AmEX, so be advised for that. On the positive side - Prices are reasonable, which is a plus. The gentleman working was friendly and helpful, and the store was clean and well-organized overall.In summary, if you're in a pinch and need higher quality meat than what can be found at a grocery store, this place will do the job. However, if you're looking for something special or extraordinary, you might want to explore other options in the area. It's a solid, no-frills choice for your everyday meat needs, but personally I’ve found better options in the immediate area.

The steak pictured has a heart in it! This meat market has been locally owned since the 1950s and has the best meat in town. They have the best hamburger in town!!! It's a friendly environment I highly recommend them they have better quality and cheaper prices... THEY DO NOT PROCESS WILD GAME

We have 3 extremely happy dogs with this special treat. A mix of chopped chicken neckbones, liver, hearts, and bone dust. Cook it 2 minutes in the microwave and num num for your favorite fur-babies. They also have a fantastic variety of fresh fish, meat and an assortment of meatsticks. Our favorite place to go for our meats. Very clean store, great prices with really friendly staff. Parking is tricky, unfortunately. But it's definitely worth the wait.

A good assortment of meats. Very helpful, even tried to steer us to the meats that were comparable to what we were looking for and on sale. To top it off, they sang a very harmonious happy birthday song to my husband when I mentioned it was his birthday. Will definitely be returning here.

This establishment really gives you that old times feel of a family run business. I can imagine having a backyard bbq with these guys and running into them at the post office. I feel like they don’t just hand you a piece of meat, they offer advice to help you get it delicious on the table. They have no problem saving me money and taking the time to coach me through dressing a piece of meat. Great selection of meats as well and great choice on dog treats

This is one of my favorite spots to stop when I'm in the area. Their service is absolutely excellent. They have a great selection of meats and other products. Anytime I need help picking something out, they're happy to assist and extremely knowledgeable. I love walking into a place that you can tell the people who work there absolutely love working there. That says a lot. So if you're in the area, make a point to stop by.

This group of guys are funny and wonderful. We’ve been coming here for years. The Piroshky is phenomenal. They’re decadent without being heavy and so flavorful that they will knock your socks off in the best of ways! Pro tip from the guys is to flip them over halfway and they’re even better in an air fryer. The flaky pastry will bloom and it will make your taste buds dance and put a smile on your face. Super excited to try their Irish pastry and if it’s anything like the rest of their food it will not disappoint.

I taped the receipt on the fridge so I could mark off what I didn't like. (First time customer ). When I went to mark the beef wellington I notice a charge for smoked cheese. I didn't buy cheese so I was overcharge by $9.95. I also didn't like the chicken corden blue, chicken puff pastry and the piroski. Regular steak good but pre-made is not good.

I past by this place going home but never stopping but today after church I did a sharp turn into Western Meats just to check it out. What a place, lots to choose from and very fresh meet. I bought a couple of packs of beef sticks. Yum, I ate one pack, yes its a lot but it was really fresh and delicious,,,I will be back. Its a must check out place.

Love this place. Amazing beef, chicken, jerky, and fish. I like getting twice baked potatoes here, too :) they even have dog treats! Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. I look forward to making my Friday steak-run here all week.

So far every cut I've gotten was pretty good, they're my go to for when I need lamb which is always excellent. One time I got curious at got a couple pre-made beef wellingtons which should have a nice piece of tenderloin in it, but instead had like chunks of stew meat.

The meat is by far the best we’ve had. Their specialty items are amazing. It’s clean and organized. You walk in and see the same smiling faces, even on busy days.Today, I was holding my 45 lb 4 year old that fell asleep right before we go to the meat market. The guy was kind of enough to walk me out to my car, with my meat in a bag to help. He’s a father of 5 kiddos and truly knew what his kind gesture meant to me. Customer service is the best here!!

This is the outstanding local spot for fresh meat. They will cut to your exact specifications without hesitation. That counts for great service in my book. Ask questions, as they're very helpful in explaining how to dress and cook many types of meats. I had one guy actually share a recipe with me. Make this place your go to store for the freshest cuts of meat, including grain fed beef. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

The cordon bleu here is very good; juicy, good smokey internal flavors, a flavorful coating that stays intact, and different coatings & breading to choose from. I paid $5 each. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 mins.

UPDATE: aside from the general quality of the steaks and chicken and things we get from here...we will DEFINITELY always come back for the pre breaded cod...that was restaurant quality!! And the pre breaded chicken fried steak was to DIE FOR!! I literally asked my wife if this is what chicken fried steak was supposed to taste like lol. Best service and meats you can find in western Washington!My wife and I literally bought a freezer because of this store. We love the staff. They are always friendly, and the products are amazing. We just got the new March locker pack, and made the cod and fries. It came pre breaded, so all we had to do was fry everything up! It was SO GOOD! Highly recommend for all your meat and locker pack needs.
