I cannot say enough good things about Summertide! From the location to the service to the amenities - everything is sure to set you up for a stellar trip.We visited for my birthday weekend with some friends. We originally booked a couple of spots in the meadow but realized it would be a bit tricky to get our friends pop-up in the spots we reserved. The spots on meadow were a bit tighter than we had expected and would have been great spot for a typical trip but being that it was my bday I was hoping for something special. Enter Tommy - the super friendly and helpful on-site manager (owner?). Without even asking him, he offered us the 2 waterfront RV spots at no extra charge which quite literally made the weekend for me.On top of the amazing spots we got to explore their well stocked general store which had a little bit of everything - essentials, toiletries, meal options, wine, and more! They also have a variety of water toys that were free to use as guests. We had paid for a kayak rental but ended up skipping it in favor of using theirs and being near our site. They also have a beautiful community fire pit with firewood and a large propane grill that is open use. We got it to ourselves on the last night of the trip and it really made for some special memories. All in all in was a wonderful trip and we'll be making this an annual trip.

Under new ownership for about a year now, this place is a gem! We stopped through on a multi-day bike ride around the peninsula and were replenished body and spirit by ice cream bars and beer in Adirondack chairs under the gazebo. Super welcoming owners, good selection of delicious and classy snacks and cold drinks, nice green lawn to hang out on near the water, clean bathrooms, tap to refill water bottles. Definitely thinking this would be a great place to stay overnight instead of just stopping though. Beautiful!

My first time at Summertide and I will definitely come back! We came from the San Francisco Bay Area and it was the perfect spot for a lovely long weekend. Our accommodations were newly remodeled, fresh, clean, and comfortable and the views from our deck beautiful. The staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. The general store on site is super convenient and well stocked. Great swimming, boating and even delicious oysters! We really experienced a remote outdoor adventure while being comfortable. So relaxing! And Hoodstock the outdoor music festival rocked! Thank you Summertide!

Last week, me and my family had a very enjoyable, memorable and very relaxed experience in SummerTide Resort. We stayed in Yawl, and it's a very cute place to stay. The view is fantastic. The entire resort is very nice and clean. The owners, Morgan and Krista, their kid's Lola and Taj, sister Robyn, and her partner Wil are fabulous. Very friendly, courteous, and very nice people. They are very warmth, and they treat you not as their guests, but like a family. If you plan to get away from the city and want to relax in a quiet place, this is the best place to go. There are so many activities that you can do here like fishing, clam digging, oyster picking, crabbing to name a few. Their rate is very reasonable, you will not regret. I bought few souvenirs from their cute little store.I feel at home in SummerTide...I highly recommend this place. This is the place that you can call home, away from home.

Leigh and Kim are both so sweet. I showed up to check the place out and they opened up the store and showed me around. I bought a 6 pack of cold Corona and enjoyed some of the beautiful sunshine and water views. They make you feel welcomed and loved😊.

Extremely friendly staff and nice facilities. My only issue where I didn't give 5 stars was because the park is very small and the spaces are difficult to get into and out of. With that said the boat ramp was rough and we were worried about launching our boat with our 32' motorhome so they let me borrow their pickup to launch and retrieve.VERY nice people and a relaxed atmosphere.

Love this place. Nice little convenience store, lots of places to rent. We rent a spot for our boat on the dock each summer. Love the new owners, great summer vibe.

Awesome little place to rent a cabin on hood canal. They also have spots for your camper or motor home. Nice little boat launch and store where you can get your fishing license and a few random snacks , canned and frozen food or a case of beer if you need it. Bev is the host and she is one awesome lady. If you stay there they have a private beach you can go out on and get your limit of oysters. Also plenty of room on their huge mooring dock to tie your boat up to overnight or just go out and fish from it if you don't have a boat. I would give it more than 5 stars if I had the option.

Beautiful resort on the deep water accessible Hood Canal. Sunsets beyond compare over the Olympic Mountains. Small convenience store onsite carries most forgotten essentials. Gazebo and barbecue will handle intimate get togethers, or groups. Kind, considerate, and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend!

Staff and other residents are wonderful and loving folks, not to many places you can find like this anymore. They make you and your family feel right at home. Our time was spent in the sunset cottage and yes grab you a drink have a seat and the most awesome sunset awaits you.

What a beautiful place to enjoy a Hood Canal sunset and a cold beverage from the general store. Launch your boat at their ramp and try your luck on the salmon run.

We only visited the shop and marina areas, but the shop was a convenient place to buy supplies and snacks while staying in a house up the hood canal with no other stores nearby, and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. There was a great view of the hood canal from the marina dock.

I've only stayed at Summertide once, but I'd like to return sometime. The view of the canal is unbeatable, and it's great for a lot of maritime activities. The rooms are also of a good size. Just a beautiful location.

Summertide is a lovely, family run resort located with cabins and RV hook ups on scenic Hood Canal Fjord. There are views of the Olympic Mountains, oysters for shucking, and the area is plentiful with sea life. Seals and otters rest on the dock or pop their heads out of the water to peek at you, A few weeks ago gray whales made a visit center stage. The Resort is pet friendly with cabins for rent. Ours and our two beagles' was beachfront with two bedrooms, a living room, and a vintage farm sink in the kitchen. They have a huge gazebo with a fire pit in the center for evening gatherings, a small sundries/supplies store with cool drinks, ice and all the things you forgot to bring, and a small library of take one/leave one books. You can launch or dock your boat, and rent kayaks to explore the area. The North Shore of Hood Canal is rustic, with nearby lakes, the Tahuya State Forest, the Tahuya River, waterfront parks, and miles of trails to hike or ride. The nearest restaurants are close to Belfair, which is a scenic thirty minute drive away. Summertide supplies gas grills for your burgers, steaks, veggies and fish (we grilled our oysters).Check their site on line: summertideresort.com, and their Facebook page for pictures and more information. We love it there and will go back.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Great place to launch your boat and dock space available to rent by the day... Small store but not sure what they sell other than otter pops...

We used their boat ramp. I'm very inexperienced backing up a trailer and they were very helpful helping guide me to get our boat in the water. They hosed down our car and trailer afterwards. Very nice folks.
