Normally I don’t buy from West Marine because I get wholesale prices at Fisheries but Steve and crew do a good job there. One of their guys figured out I had a $30 credit coming on my rewards. Apparently I’m a gold member through my boat insurance and didn’t know it. Also helped me with hard to find parts. So ok, I’ll pay the premium when I get good service.Thank you!

Irritable staff, good selection of stuff.The staff here seems irritated when you have a simple question, making you feel like a burden for going to an employee for help. And when you do ask, they give you the shortest simplest answer like they are almost telling you go away I don’t want to help you.. and when leaving the store or entering the store you are neither greeted nor said goodbye to. Just feels like a cold place that offers no support. If you know what you want, it’s great since they have lots of different items. If you need some help selecting the right item, this is not the place for you to go. Very unwelcoming.

Greg, Jeff are great at working through challenging purchase and online returns. Great technical knowledge and local resources & suggestions for owners of old boats! The Tacoma/Fife location in summary has knowledgeable friendly and they know good customer service. They are not the closest but I’ll definitely return and purchase more west marine products through their store!Great job and see you next time!

Consistently excellent service from store manager, Mira, and quality products.We just bought an inflatable dinghy at this location (Fife/Tacoma). Using the online WM app, I couldn't find one in stock at a local store. I called Mira and she had it in her store, ready for pick up, the next day!Now we have a little roll-up dinghy that will fit on the foredeck of our new-to-us little boat.☺⛵

They have a great selection of all the marine grade electrical wires for your boat.The price is higher than what you would find online but you shop here because you don't want to wait few days for shipping. Saved my butt in many occasions and it's conveniently located right off of I5

I bought two new batteries last year. I forgot to return the old batteries for the core charge of $36. I was in the store buying something else and I ask the manager Steve if he would by chance let me return the old batteries. I was very surprised that he said he would even though he couldn't find the purchase in the system. I came back the next day and true to his word he refunded me the $36.The knowledge and customer service at this location is second to none!

Unfortunately they did not have the crab pot in stock that I went there for so I had to order it from the website. However if you are a boater, it is paradise, if a little on the high retail side. If you don't mind paying for the whole enchilada to get what you want, this place is for you.

I went in for fiberglass supply. There new store was well stocked. Normally I never take advise from sales personnel. But this salesman sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Long story short. I'll be going back to return a few things to get the correct products. One last thing to keep in mind. West marine is very proud of there products so bring all the money you have , because your going to need it!

Great staff, always helpful, asking and making sure Customer found the right product for they needs. Sometimes I have a question that my mechanic can’t answer but if you ask Diane she is there for you and will help you out. I shop here for many years and the Customer serves definitely much better and shelves are full. Mira always paying attention make sure every customer assisted in the store. The employees always busy working around the store and always greeting the Customers which you don’t see often in any others stores lately.Pricing little high compared to online but I am a business owner myself and know how hard to compete online.Overall I shop for my boating needs mostly in WM in Fife and staff is great!

My "go to" retailer for all things Marine, including foul weather gear. I've been a customer since the 1980s. There's a reason I keep shopping here. Top shelf telephone and email customer service, knowledgeable store staff (I recently got schooled by Steve at the Fife store about Epifanes clear coatings) and good pricing on everything. Batteries are very well priced as are the West Marine foul weather gear.

The employees are very friendly, knowledgeable and can help with questions you have. They great you when you enter and ask if you need help finding anything. Always wonderful to be acknowledged as a valued shopper. Prices are pretty high, but to be expected for anything marine.

The only one has experience and have a excellent customer service it’s Mira . I ordered cradle charger and when I came after a month of waiting they sent me the charger without a outlet charger but Mira helped me right away I wish customer service be a priorities of Sales departments ,Thanks Mira

The sales associate lady was very friendly and willing to help out immediately when she noticed we were looking lost. She also seemed very knowledgeable about multiple items we picked up.I came in with my hubby who was taking a sailing course that weekend and needed some last minute gear.After a few minutes in the store he found everything that he needed and the lady even offered him a military discount when she learned he is serving our country.Prices are definitely higher than what you might find elsewhere or online, but we needed to make one stop shopping trip and this West Marine location was what we needed.

They would probably get more business if they priced their stuff to sell. But, they do have top quality stuff. If you order cheaper hardware elsewhere it may not hold up as well. A few sale items were priced better than Amazon, so if you need something that is on sale anyway you might be in luck.

Over the years I have had mixed feelings feelings about West Marine but recently they've made changes in the positive direction. Their stocking has improved with a greater density of items in the store. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they are a marine specialty store. If you really need a select widget for your boat (or RV) there's good chance they may have it. This review applies to their Tacoma, WA location.

I have been shopping here for parts and other marine supplies for many years. I have ordered items through them and they always came in a timely fashion. The staff has always been very helpful when I needed help. MY only complaint is they recently re arranged everything in the store (why?) and now I have t ask where things are.
