This review is for the store only, not the pharmacy.In my most recent shopping experience here, everything went great except my register rewards didn’t print. When I asked the cashier about them not printing, all they said was, “I don’t know, they haven’t been printing all day.” They didn’t try to look into it further to get me my rewards that Walgreens was advertising for the products I purchased.Luckily a few days later I called and the manager Sean happened to answer. He very happily and quickly found my account and added the rewards to my account. Thanks Sean!

This is my store for things and scripts. Recently with staff changes and shortage of employees the consumer suffers. Victoria in the pharmacy has worked extremely hard to try to bring stability and keep us happy. Yesterday an incident occured with a customer and employee in the photo shop.There was no manager available and the argument got heated. All the worker had to do was acknowledge his concern, instead she was dismissive kept saying ok have a nice day while the customers anger increased! Walgreens..train your employees better!! Tell them there would be NO JOB without customers.

Do not get your prescriptions filled here. My doctor sent my prescriptions at 1:00, at 8:30 it's still not ready and they wanted me to come back the next day. This echoes other reviews here over several months.

I hate this store. I hate my experience everytime I come in this store. I reload money on a card everytime I come in, I have to prepare myself to be in there for 10+ minutes just to get helped. Managers approval is needed as I deposit a lot of money. I receive possibly the worst customer service I’ve seen. Everytime I say I’m reloading a card I get sighs, eye rolls and horrible attitudes. Sometimes I’m sent over to photo to complete reload but a large handful of times I walk out of the store after 10+ minutes of being sent to photo with no one helping me or mentioning that they’ll be right with me. NUMEROUS times I have asked an employee to their face if I can get a certain item unlocked, they say they will send someone and I’ve had to walk out of the store after asking 2-3 separate people to unlock a product and everyone passes the job off to the next, never getting done. Not one time have I had a smooth, enjoyable, timely visit to this store. The customer service is bottom of the barrel. I’ve never seen more than 7 people in the store at once, why should I be waiting 10+ minutes ever. Also, please come up with a smoother process for reloading cards. Your cashiers have horrible attitude about it, and quite frankly so would I.

Great clearance prices. I've always liked the sale prices when Walgreens has items I purchase on sale. I was pleased with my experience there. The staff was great! I have enjoyed shopping at this location (38th St in Tacoma ) and the one I used to live near (6th Ave in Tacoma/ not open anymore too bad). Thank you Walgreens

Avoid this pharmacy at ALL costs. Horrible pharmacy experience every single time. Always late getting my birth control in and are always messing up my NEEDED monthly medication for my pancreas to work. I finally, after the lead pharmacist dropped the ball and blamed me for a system issue they were having I switched to a different pharmacy. He canceled my prescription there without even sending it off to the next pharmacist…

Incompetent. Scheduled flu shots on a Sunday. Arrive and they say they don’t do flu shots on weekends. Then said they’ll do them. Then almost half hour of waiting and still no shots. Asked and they said it’d take another 20 more minutes! We couldn’t wait any longer (had somewhere to be) so just left. What a waste of time.

Horrible pharmacy experience. Made appointments for flu and COVID shots for the whole family. Showed up 15 minutes early. Pharmacy was so overwhelmed and backed up that we didn't check in for 30 minutes. After an hour wait and several toddler breakdowns I had to leave. Will never use any Walgreens again for anything. Corporate is triple booking appointments and the overworked pharmacy staff is who has to deal with it. What was supposed to be a convenient appointment became a terrible experience. Don't do it. Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere else.

WARNING!!! The pharmacist here does not know what he's doing. He gave us incorrect RX info & was also very unprofessional. I asked him to slow down the conversation because he'd already made three mistakes regarding the RX. Another Walgreens pharmacy an hour later CONFIRMED he was wrong. That pharmacist apologized on behalf of Walgreens My provider & I both had extensive problems dealing with this pharmacist. The provider said he won't send RX's to this Walgreens location anymore. I didn't get the pharmacists name but it was an Asian gentleman. Very verbally unprofessional.

Just don't go to the pharmacy here. Period. The cooperation doesn't respect their pharmacists, only profit. Showed up with my two toddlers to all get flu and covid shots. They had appointments triple books and one pharmacist. You can tell that the techs are trying, but they are being screwed over by profit driven corporate overlords. I quick in and out appointment was instead a turned into over an hour wait with several meltdowns by my kids. Never again. I'll be waiting to get all by covid and flu shots through my primary physician from now on.

Got trapped in Tacoma because my kid was vomiting in my car. Urgent care prescribed zofran to help with nausea. We needed it before we could head out. We let Walgreens know that we where traveling through but they where so backed up it did not matter. Walgreens got the prescription at 3pm that day but where not able to make it which made us get a hotel.That evening they said it would be done by 12 the following day. We called 3 times and could never get someone. At one point we waited for over 30 minutes with only one caller ahead. When we got there about 1:15 they said it would be after 2pm. We told them we where trapped here and they did not care.I just spent money on a hotel when it was pointless to stay in town. Why tell me you can make deadlines when you obviously cannot and force me to spend money when I should have just kept going. Now we have a sick baby in the car traveling to Spokane. Complete waste of everyone's time and money.

The staff at Walgreens were very helpful the day I was there. Pharmacy was quick & efficient. The cashier did her very best to help me with a return product. Even though there was a bit of a stick when attempting to purchase items using the return credit. This cashier handled it very well. I had to wait but, that certainly was not her fault. I left satisfied.

I walked in 5 minutes before close. I needed a battery changed in my car faab. But I couldn't open it. Do I asked the girls at the registration e r to help me. Indy and Ashley were so helpful and stuck with it until we got it all done. They were so kind. I couldn't have done it without them.

Same day prescription sent. It's now the next day. I keep calling auto line to check and it's not ready. First I'm told 2:00,then 3:00, now 6:00. Customer service is terrible. Staff is rude and impatient. Will not be using this pharmacy again. Trash.

1 cashier.Customers deal with it mostly ok.10 plus customers is ridiculous.Security was kind. He dealt with racial comments of millionaire women and white people.. then proceeded to brag about her connection with the city and lectured on what to buy. She left and her arguing was ignored by most as we all were patient.Cashier was rude to the men who bought alcohol.. not her biz and other woman had no rt saying quit smoking.May peace be every day

Horrible pharmacy. Chronically understaffed. Always a long wait. Get an alert that your prescription is ready, go down there to pick it up, it’s not ready. After waiting in line for 45 minutes. Go somewhere, anywhere else

Don’t ever go to this location for your medications, shot or anything. Even though you put in your prescriptions for few days now and when you come they do not have it ready.The staffs are rude and unprofessional. Highly not recommended.

I was just in the store and needed assistance with cosmetics that is locked waited and waited while the employee was putting stuff away on the shelves she did step away to help someone with another customer at the register. But then back to what she was doing and not helping me. So rude and unprofessional. I will be telling all my friends not to shop there.

Walgreens is a popular store what can I say about Walgreens they're nice people they're friendly I like their service I like their choice of makeup I like that I can load my chime banking card and it doesn't cost anyting I can also use their ATM without an ATM service charger

RED Flag about Walgreen's drive-through have a very old speaker system what giving a headache for workers and customers also, for months we holler loud our info because unable to hear each other. It is very uncomfortable. Now right there HOMELESS TENT NEXT TO WINDOW....two man was seat there listening personal informations about customers!It's unacceptable! Danger to the nearby communities safety on high level. Walgreen's management should call police to remove tent and block homeless to have access to our addresses and more. 😳😳😳

Lots of parking, drive thru pharmacy. Usually well staffed with short lines. Almost never more than 2 people ahead of me line. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good selection and some basic groceries available. Redbox located outside.

All staff members are amazing! I am a frequent customer who has rotating medications. Sometimes, even if can forget the rotation. However, they do not. Though not their fault...I wish people wouldn't sit in drive through waiting for prescription fills:( Not only does it create a line, but it becomes the EMPLOYEES who are blamed. Please be respectful of others... park and read a book. Kudos to the staff here. Pharmacist even pulled me to the side on a BUSY day to teach me how to give myself my weekly injections :) They bring cheer to the Eastside, even amongst difficult and busy times!!! -Deb

Walgreens is a pleasant place to shop & pick up prescriptions. Staff is friendly, helpful & attentive. They carry many of the products I use. A lot of parking available, if one is driving. Walgreens is always located where a city bus stops right out front.

My car got broken into at the parking lot. I understood from the staff that it was the second break in for that very day. This is very concerning because I didn’t even spend 5 minutes in the store and came out to a broken window. If this continuous, people will eventually stop coming to the store and they may lose customers and struggle to continue business in the area. They have to do something about this.

This Walgreens is the WORST! I received a phone call when my rx was ready to be picked up, great. When I got there, the pharmacy didn't have it filled and couldn't even find the rx in their system for a good twenty minutes. Upon finding it and asking if I'd like to fill it, they told me the cost would be a 500% increase from my previous refill! The employee neglected to run my insurance!Needless to say, I'm never going back. This routine has played out every other visit to this walgreens, I'm over their bs.

I just left this store. I have been coming to this Walgreens for the past 7 years and I may not always have had the best experience, but the good definitely always outweighed the bad. Today, however, is not that day. I'm in the store browsing for stocking stuffers and have been in for a good 15 minutes or more when my 5 year old daughter says she needs to use the restroom. I stop shopping and take her to the cashier knowing I need them to unlock the door when the cashier tells me there's no public restrooms. You obviously see me shopping. I'm right in the makeup aisle right across from you, and you're the one who greeted me in the first place and now you're telling my 5 year old she has to wait for me to purchase something to use the bathroom. Then your fellow cashier decides to say call the manager, and you stupidly stand there like an idiot. I declined that since when I first walked in you had another customer with another cashier saying the manager was pages 5 times and never answered. My child's not gonna be able to wait that long. Thank God my house is just 5 minutes away, but you people should be ashamed of yourselves. How pathetic can you be to tell a 5 year old she has to wait for me to buy something in order for her to use the bathroom. And of course I'm walking out on your apology not listening. I don't have time to wait for a half-asses, insincere apology while my child has to use the bathroom and you won't let her. Forget me ever coming here again.
