Arne made sure the floors were finished before we moved in. They’re so beautiful! Major upgrade from the carpet and vinyl. These are SPC - durable and make the house look so good. Thank you, Arne!

Great deals if you aren't picky with flooring color. Brian at Floor Trader arranged it all with the carpet guys and got me a good deal. I am very happy with the installation too. I would definitely go back for the best deals on flooring!

When deciding to remodel our master bedroom and bath and guest bathroom, we had an idea what we wanted for tile and flooring, but couldn’t find at any of our local stores. We got discouraged. After visiting another big floor place in Tacoma, we noticed Floor traders on the corner, never heard of them. I ran in quickly thinking they wouldn’t have it either. Nope! Literally everything I wanted was there, or easily ordered. Unbelievable! Zach, the son of the owner, helped us, he not only assured us we could get all of our materials quickly, he worked an amazing deal for us. Every step of the way, he has been with us. Even delivering product to our home, which I don’t think is his normal thing to do, but that’s what I mean, above and beyond helpful!. He’s literally been on speed dial with me through the process to the point when we lost our contractor after the first bath, he was the guy we called. That day we had a new contractor to our home, and they began the demo of our guest bath. Just can’t say enough about the personal service we have received from Zach. Funny, now I see him on tv and his commercials. He is the Floor Guy, and I think the best you could ever hope to find!! We are almost finished with last bath (in a week!) but just had to share!!

Victor was very helpful, fast and professional. I needed an unusual size and he was able to help find it. I had already looked at HD and Lowe's with no luck. Mario Pellegrini MRP Const Flooring LLC**Please read this prior to hiring**Mario Pellegrini was recommended as Floor Trader’s top installer.DO NOT USE HIM! He’s done two jobs and I’ve since cancelled his future service! First job scheduled was my primary residence. Within one week of install multiple stair steps failed and he sent out a repair person but wasn’t able to properly repair, we also have a gap in one of the areas and overall cleanliness wasn’t great. Unfortunately, I gave him a 2nd chance.*This is were it gets bad**Hired him for a few rental properties of mine. During the first project the team placed the toilet in the bathtub during bathroom install and cracked the bathtub. I connected with Mario and informed him of this issue and asked him to repair the damage. He proceeded to have a repair company come out in June of 2023 and give him an estimate. Mario has failed to do the right thing and take care of this repair. He’s strung me along for 9 months coming up with excuse after excuse on why he’s not responding or scheduling this repair. In the meantime the water damage is getting worse. I’ve connected with his insurance company and they denied my claim. Odiously Mario isn’t telling the insurance company the truth to get out of a claim.My sales person at Floor Trader is Brian. He’s so great ant what he does, took care of me the entire time. He tried his best to help in this unfortunate situation.

Zack at Floor Trader of Tacoma went absolutely above and beyond to assist my wife and I in buying new flooring and setting us up with Alex to install the flooring (carpet and LVP) Alex and his crew did an amazing job with the install, he and his crew were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Their attention to detail was what I feel set them apart from other installers. Alex even gave us some very helpful advice where we weren't sure which way to go and we took it. His advice made all the difference in the world and we couldn't be happier with the results. Needing just a little bit o' carpet & flooring I treked off to The Floor Trader. I was dreading it in a way because I hate high pressure sales people, and as my default that's what I expected. I was greeted right away by Zach. I explained that I was just going to look around. As I strolled and petted the carpets I kept looking to see how close my stalker was, but to my surprise that was not the case. When I was ready with questions it was if Zach had read my mind and seemingly by magic he was by my side with his wealth of knowledge. What an outstanding shopping experience! We used Zach Paulson for our sales, and he provided transparent fair pricing all the way. The stair treads were delayed in shipping, and Zach continued to work with us until we got the job done.For installers, we used Amjad Al Sanhani’s team at MJ Flooring and they were great!!! Amjad helped us find the right baseboards, worked around our delivery delay for the stairs, let us know the arrival/departure time and also provided us with fair/transparent pricing for the install. Over great experience and product with a lifelong warranty!

Be CAREFUL!! Being up front and honest not these peoples style. They lead you on and tell you “oh ya” this is always in stock.I told Victor I like to buy a box and see how it looks and goes together. Before I invest $3000 in flooring. Did he say anything about no returns on opened boxes then!!! NO! Then I arrive the day they say the rest of the product will be ready, 3 days later, “oh it’s between 9 and 1 arrival”, didn’t get there until 3. I told them I live on Vashon Island, how much of my day was F’d? 5 hours and 3 missed ferries.THEN as I’m loading the product the Truth comes out. Victor tells me there are 10 boxes left of this stock because the manufacturer is changing the click design and going to a 7” board. He obviously knew that when he sold me the 300 sq ft I had already installed of the order! Unbelievable!!! They should have given me a blowout price for taking their last 30 boxes off their hands. Never again!!STAY AWAY BATE AND SWITCH TACTICS

I had a good experience working with Jairo at Floor Trader as well as working with their recommended installation contractor, Alex at Pro Floorz. Jairo helped me find the best-quality vinyl plank that was in stock, and he gave me a very fair price. I used the style called Montego Bay.Pro Floorz was able to come out quickly to quote installation and report back to Jairo about how much vinyl plank I ultimately needed. The two companies worked together well to get the materials I needed quickly for the project. I'm happy with the outcome so far and am pleased with the durability and quality of the planks.

This place is amazing! Shannon helped us tremendously! From the moment we walked in... We were frazzled, just bought a house that we didn’t realize what we were getting ourselves into, he made the process super simple, never once was stressed! We picked floors for our entire house, carpet and vinyl plank. Even when the only carpet we liked didn’t have enough he made it right and found us a better quality at the same price.
