Wonderful beer selection. Meat and produce are fairly priced and very good quality. Anything else you buy there is 10-20% more than a grocery store. It is usually a quick and easy stop though, so a lot of times the extra price is worth the headache, imo.

I stopped in today and I was looking over the gluten-free section and noticed that they had the Feel Good gf plain and everything flavored cream cheese stuffed mini bagels in stock. There was a recall approximately 8 days ago on boxes with the dates of 5/29/24 to 9/17/25. I looked at 3 boxes and 1 of them was within the recall timeframe. I mentioned this to the cashier and was told the manager would return at 7am the next day. I asked if there was an assistant manager and he called him upfront. I explained the situation, showed him the recall notice and he said, I don't know why he called me, this isn't my area and he walked away.

This is my favorite eclectic grocery store in ALL of Washington! It's like an indoor farmers market with a lot of local finds. We love the plants, the cheese curds, the unique canned goods, candies, the sexy produce, etc. It's a fun place to find stocking stuffers, too. Especially for that hard to buy for loved one. We stop here every chance we get when we visit our family.

Prices are a little high but the have a great assortment of beer, wine, and meat. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and they are open 24/7. We like coming here to buy boats head brand cheese and deli meat and the occasional wagyu steaks.

Quality of meat is good, but asked for an angus ribeye which is 15.99 a lb didn’t even think to look at weight and price when I bought it because I didn’t feel I needed to. Unfortunately that’s not the case. I watched the steak get weighed and knew it was under 1lb but when I got home I noticed they charged me for a whole lb.

The craziest prices I’ve ever seen lol. These guys charge an extra 5-12$ dollars over the actual retail price. Insane, the same exact peanut butter you get at Safeway for 5$ you pay 12$ here lol

Unbelievable, did not expect this when we saw it on the map. A fantastic, beautiful store with an incredible produce department!!! Every veggie or fruit you can think of with low pricing compared to major grocers. The gluten free and vegan options are endless and the specialty products for rices, pastas and legumes are legit. Kudos to the buyer of these stores! And we found stroopwafels!

My Tacoma boy experience has been tainted.I ordered a crown roast a week before Christmas. The Butcher proudly showed me one he was readying for the big day. Beautiful, delicate little little spikes arising from the roast. I placed my order, advised to pick up early, I did. Oh my it was sold, no roast . Quickly the butcher slapped together a new rather clunckly, a 5 min job, string of pork chops. Hmm l hope it tasts better than it looks, then proceeded to try and charge me more than the original price per pound.Not happy. No going back to Tacoma Boys!

I was wondering why my bill was so high but had a toddler in my arms so when I got home I took a look…. $12.99 per pound for asparagus. Safeway sells it right now for $5.99 for organic asparagus. Strawberries cost $10.99 a pound… seriously ridiculous to mark up vegetables and fruits double what you can get elsewhere. Just didn’t expect to be price gouged like this. Can’t afford to pay double for the same thing I can get elsewhere. Would not recommend. The steak I bought was cheaper than the strawberries… just can’t understand pricing like this.

Cool store with huge selection of small brands you would never find anywhere else. While the prices of some items were great, other items were simply outrageous. For example, a small pack of pre-sliced Tillamook Colby Jack cheese was $14.99 while the identical product a 2-3 blocks away at Winco is $4.98. The only reason to come here is for those odd things like spices you wouldn't find anywhere else or jams made by small local companies.

Fantastic selection of the fun and funky! The nut butter options are something to behold, and if you're saddled with creating appetizers for the next event, Tacoma Boys has it all. The beer selection is also by far the most abundant of anywhere in WA state for an independent grocery.

Great 24 hour grocery store with almost too much stuff. Great meat counter, produce, and gluten free items however this store is terribly overpriced making it a rare place that I will shop. They were able to hold a brisket for me around the holidays in the past when no other butcher in Tacoma has any available.

What a fabulous place this is! Visited for the first time last week and discovered I needed MUCH more time than I had available in order see everything I wanted to see, GREAT and eclectic selection, not at all your run-of-the-mill grocery shopping experience; this place is special! Staff is super friendly, store is user-friendly, neat, and clean, and well-organized. East and plentiful parking, too. This store is a foody's dream! Prices reflect the specialty items they carry. If you have not been here and are in the area I heartily recommend a visit!

It was our first time checking this market out, Stopped by to grab a few steaks for a friends bbq dinner. I was already welcomed in to a great music selection playing through the market to immediately see the array of display of meats available. The 2 butchers were instantly welcoming then quick to observe us going back & forth on certain cuts of meat. So they decided for us & gave us a steal deal on some wagyu ribeye for nearly no cost! It was our last night in tacoma with our friends & we definitely couldn't ask for a better meal, the quality of that wagyu was so impeccable just like butter. We are for sure stopping by again on our next visit out in Tacoma! Thank you Tacoma boys for the quality 🙏

One of my “go to” stores for many years. Great produce and fruits, amazing seafood, nice cuts of beef and a large selection of popcorn and popcorn seasonings and oils (I’m a popcorn junkie). Being open 24 hours makes it easy to shop.

Was reminded here that racism still exists, I know no one will care about my comment. the store and it’s employees will continue to follow and profile paying customers. That’s the cruel world we live in. I’m putting it here anyway.I walked in and immediately got the “feeling “ people of color know what I’m talking about. I grab my basket and just begin shopping ignoring my intuition telling be I’m being profiled and watched, and stalked by this employee, just waiting for me to either run out the store with a cart full of produce, or fit it all in my Fanny pack, (smh) or whatever judgmental prejudices that were here. I felt it from all of the employees here. Watching me, like I was some thief. I ended up confronting the man stalker and asked him “ are you following me?” He proceeds to say “ oh no mam’ I’m im part Mexican I would never” when I said nothing about race I simply asked if he were following me. He continued around corners making eye contact and looking at random items like he himself was shopping . Immediately I wanted to get outta there but I didn’t want to leave cause I didn’t want them to think I stole if I just walked out without anything. (Crazy thought I know) and I also wanted to prove them wrong and show them look I’m not here to steal anything!! I wanted to scream it out loud so they would just stop judging and let me shop in peace!I hate to say it, it’s been said so much but it’s 2023 out here why do we still hold these horrible stereotypical judgements against regular people. I’m just a girl trying to eat healthier so I decided to go here to get fresh organic fruits and veggies to start my journey. ended up feeling like less of a human leaving all for some warped minded people. If some how some way someone in this location reads this I hope you do better next time you want to profile someone, maybe think twice and don’t. Because of this I won’t be returning ever!

I just have to say WOW, never been here before everything looks nicely displayed, all the fresh food like meats and produce look amazing, just moved over to the neighborhood and I definitely will be back, I use to live in GH and Met Market and Harbor Greens got nothing on Tacoma Boys, going to cook up some things tonight from you, Korean Chicken. ..your ground beef is next, the nicest ground meat I have seen at any store. ...bar none, cya alot appreciate you being here

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS BUSINESS. We bought 3 hanging flower baskets as we typically do on Mother's Day. After getting them home we discovered one is significantly defective (bottom of pot is cracked nearly all the way around), would not hold water, and the plant was already dying. We attempted to return it this evening and they said there is nothing they could do: the employees are not empowered to make a decision to satisfy a customer. The gent that works in the lot acknowledged he remembered us but declined to rectify the problem, saying he was not empowered. Moreover, the cashier asked for a receipt (even though the product is clearly theirs and the gent in the lot admitted same). I produced the electric credit card receipt and she then declined resolution, challenging our integrity! NEVER AGAIN!

Nice butcher shop and fish monger counter. The products appeared fresher than what is offered at larger chain stores. Although regular grocery items are higher in price than those stores. The pots advertised as a buy one get two is a good deal. However they had mostly large pots on my visit and that can be spendy.

We absolutely love this place. We come here weekly to get our produce since we go through it so quickly. I've experienced an actual line here maybe 3 times in 5 years, it is an amazing gem that keeps us coming back. Also, I'm proud to say we probably have at least 15 of the amazing pots that get put out front for sale!
