I read the reviews before going to the store expecting to be followed around as if I was a shoplifter, but I did not experience that. Yes, there are employees that are assigned to different sections in the store and they do follow you around from a distance, but they weren’t breathing down my neck at all. The employees that I have interacted with were very nice.I mainly went to the store to look at the Kbeauty items, but I could be in that store for over an hour looking at everything they have.

It doesn't matter if you're Asian/Korean, some of the employees will follow you around and watch your every move. A few of them seemed nice and smiled or greeted you, but it was clear they were around to monitor shoppers because it wasn't busy enough to warrant that many employees. I brought this up with the checkout clerk (also Korean) and explained how it made for an unpleasant shopping experience. She said, "They're Korean. That's how they are." I told her that wasn't true. I'm from Hawaii where they have a lot of Korean/Asian markets and they do not treat customers this way. As far as the store goes, they have a good selection of items and mostly reasonable prices.

I usually don’t write bad reviews but the experience here was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. The workers follow you around and are breathing behind your neck (literally) when you’re looking at stuff. Nice stuff at this place and did buy some things but after that experience, I’ll probably will look at other alternatives.

This might be my favorite store, ever. Amazing prices, incredible variety of cooking supplies/tools, skin care, teas, home goods. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I make trips to Tacoma just to go to this store. Love love love

Awesome place for all your asain homegoods needs. They have everything from heated rugs, to clothes, kitchen ware, futons, and all manner of bedding. We picked up a couple of adorable dishes that were well priced, and at the recommendation of one of the sales ladies we also picked up several buckwheat pillows which have turned out to be wonderfully comfortable. I can't wait until I am back in the area and can go again!

I love shopping here! So many goods that I have never found anywhere else in the country so far. I'm talking soaps, kitchen appliances, bedding, unique cutlery (eg mwiko for my African peeps 😁😆), clothing, etc. I buy stuff here just to pack in my checked bag!

I love their Ramen pot👌 it's very helpful and easy/ fast to cook ramen 😋, I'm literally using it everyday. Also they have glass lunch boxes in different sizes and it's really cheap 🤑 I went there to buy skin care products after watching Instagram reel but I couldn't find much Korean skin care products. Still they had many face masks and other Korean products like, clothes, alcohol, Bedsheets, ceramic bowls, wooden plates and bowls, chopsticks and Korean style spoon etc....

Brought teenager here that is interested in everything Asian. Found a few things for our house, and a few more that we would like to purchase in the future. The prices are very reasonable. Even thought the parking lot was full the store did not seem too busy even on Christmas Eve.

I love shopping here! I normally get beauty products and a few kitchen things, but I can't wait until I own my own home to shop for a fridge there, some pots and pans, dish wear and probably bedding because they have it all 😸 a good recommend if you love Korean products or want to try any.

My favorite store of all time. I get all my face masks (beauty and KN94) here. Beauty products are such a steal, and things I thought I’d never seen again. You can find great items for your home and dish ware at a good price. Go explore if you haven’t already.

Love this store, so much to look at! I've been here twice and still haven't seen everything. The staff is helpful and kind. These slippers are great, I had another pair that I wore out (multiple colors). Found this serving tray and felt it was perfect for our items, they had like 5 different ones. Also I'm always looking for a good hand held fan and they have several, different sizes and orientations. I would recommend to everyone to visit this store. I can't wait to return

Great place to buy kitchen items. Great variety of Rice cookers, cutlery, dishes, etc.We had to exchange a Christmas gift. The staff was very amenable, helpful, and pleasant.

First time shopping there today. My mom and I got super excited because we love household stuff. Different staffs followed me and my mom almost every aisle which made us felt like we are thieves 🤣. After seeing other staffs followed other shoppers, we felt like we are all thieves lols. Still end up bought stuff from them tho. But not felt comfortable to shop around lols.

This store is like going to Korean Target. They have house shoes, towels, dishes, small appliances, cosmetics, and other household goods and clothes. Also a good stock of BT21, Hello Kitty, and Pusheen can be found here at prices much, much better than Claire's or online. DO NOT be offended when clerks remain close to you. They are not suspicious of you, it is good Korean customer service to remain close-by to assist customer's needs. A very pleasant shopping experience.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love the store! I love to cook, and this gives me everything that I need and more. From hard to find cutlery two incredibly enormous cooking pots. Where ever you were located the store is worth a drive just to explore. I love to go to the store with my friends and hold them hostage while I look at every single little thing. Thank God I’ve never been kicked out! The staff has always been really really friendly. Is it strange? That I’m thinking I really want to go right now. But it’s too early in the morning they’re not open yet. I might love the store a little too much.

This place, regarding customer service is a hit or miss. Been a miss lately. I asked a worker for a price check on an item since there was no price listed, she told me, in an irritated voice that they were busy and grudgingly told me the price for the item. Wow..another, some of the workers insist on arguing with you. I bought a couple of pots and one of them, just got old, so I went in to get a new one. They didn’t have the same size. They had one smaller and bigger than the one I bought before. I asked the worker if they still had the size in between the 2 and she said they never carried that particular size. Thank goodness I took a picture of it. I showed her and she said I must of have bought them somewhere else. I told her I bought this and the smaller one here at the same time about a year ago. She still insisted that they never carried that particular size I was needing. I told her to leave me alone, I’ll figure out what I want to purchase and to stop following me everywhere... seriously, they do have a great selection of things I really need, but the owner needs to step up and train their employees better!!!!

Very strong toxic plastic/chemical smell permeating the entire building. I put a face covering on to try to reduce the smell and while it worked for about 10 minutes, ultimately my throat started feeling tight and the smell was just too unbearable for me to remain inside. I was very disappointed by this odor because I wanted to take my time looking at all of their products and perhaps make a purchase. Instead I was rushing through the aisles to get back to the doors. It literally took me a solid 5 minutes of gulping fresh air before I could walk to my car once I exited. Needs better ventilation!

Staff is always ready to help you find anything you're looking for and to answer any questions you may have. Great selection of cookware, rice cookers, wok's, dishes, knives, and kitchen gadgets. All types of Asian serving dishes and tea sets. They also have great roll pillows for those of us with neck problems. Got the buckwheat filled pillow 2 weeks ago and already feel an improvement in my neck. Also have a good little selection of butane and butane stoves. Perfect for camping or cooking indoors as well. Highly recommend checking out this store!
