They were ruder than freaking the most "ghetto" walmart that has the world's lazest workers working there. 1) So as I get to the self check out the worker the watches over the self check out (who was a male) stands about 3-5ft. Behind me and stands there watching me not only super intensely but super creeper like the entire time I'm checking out items up until I pull out my ebt food card to pay, once I pulled out my card he finally went back to the register where the worker usually overlooks everyone in the self check out area.

I just want to give a shout out to shevelle in the customer service department. (Hope that is her name, I quickly glanced) She is the epotime of wonderful customer service. After the day I was having and in a time crunch, she quickly helped me with western union transaction and had the most inviting personality and a huge smile. She was a breathe of fresh air after the terrible customer service I've experienced lately at many different businesses.I visited on 2/9 around 4pm, thank you again for going above and beyond providing 5 🌟 customer service!!!

The bathrooms are worse than the worst gas station bathroom you've ever seen. I'm talking trailhead port-o-potty is better than this Safeway's bathroom.

I really wish the deli would change their fryer oil every once in a while. They constantly overcook all the fried items. If you'd look at their food today everything is dark brown and dry. When they do change their oil the food improves dramatically. I have told their deli staff, they agreed with me, and told me to tell their deli manager. I told their deli manager and she seemed very uninterested. I don't know how the head deli manager still has a job...

Kendall H. Was so rude and miserable the whole time , the look on her face as she’s staring there looks like she can’t stand the costumers , and if you try and talk to her at all , she makes it clear that she can’t stand you . She’ll say she doesn’t know how to do the simplest of tasks , in hopes that you’ll just leave and if you try and help her by showing her she cuts you off and try’s to use bullying and intimidation tactics then when another employee arrives she changes her whole demeanor immediately. She should not work in costumer service !

I like this Safeway location, the store is always clean. I give four stars because the parking lot really needs cleaned up. There are constantly people doing drugs in the parking lot and homeless people hanging around the front of the store.

I’d just like to give a shout out to the manager that was working this afternoon 1-24-24. My dad went there for groceries and like many stores they didn’t have a hand basket. My dad who’s a double leg amputee, can’t easily push a cart from his wheelchair, so the manager grabbed a cart and shopped with/for him the whole time.

Went here two days in a row one at 6pm and one at 12pm and both times had super rude deli staff. Bad attitudes and don’t want to help. Won’t be going to this location anymore. Dont work with people if you’re gonna be rude to the customers.

Been coming to this Safeway for over 10 years and the Deli has always been a major issue. Every time I come in and want to order a sandwich the employees do there best to act like your not there and ignore you hoping you will go away. I don’t get the point of having a deli where the purpose is to sell food to make money but the deli employees do there best to ignore you. Would be nice for a change to have someone behind the counter ready and happy to help.I have talked to store employees and management many times in the store about this issue. They always call over the intercom to get someone to help but have never actually tried to fix the issues with the employees.

Pick up delivery always good. Staff in store not so great. I feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Which is part of the reason why I do pickup. Every now and then I have to go inside. There is a homeless man that is always inside behind the carts which is also very uncomfortable because the staff just lets him stay there. Pretty concerning that they just let him live inside the store.

Very clean and has great freshly made sandwiches. I can honestly say this is one of the time's I wish I could of had taken a picture before I ate it. The store it's self is very clean, inside and out. They actually had some pick up cigarette butt's. Now I know I don't see that every day. The aisles are organized and staff is very friendly.

Ok experience at my last visit found what I was looking for without even attempting to ask anyone after my last experience here.Produce lady at least asked me if I needed help finding anything so that's the reason for the additional stars.Great deals today on steak and shrimp

Love going here. Little negative experience this time. I had a jar of salsa that felt a little wet so when I put it on the belt I asked the checker if she thought the seal was broken. She said it was fine so I did not worry. When I got home it was open and had leaked. Still need to return it. I was trying to hurry to keep the line moving since it was very busy or I would have checked it more thoroughly myself. Just trying to be kind to others in line but did not quite work out for me.😟

Have great produce...love bakery and cheap chicken Mondays. Lines always too long..cashiers are rude and don't care..yesterday they put tomatoes and bananas and bagged salad on bottom of bag..put heavier items on top. I have returned food to deli as well

My family and I moved to this area not long ago, Safeway is right around the corner from my house. The first time I stopped in, the cashier was not friendly at all, no hi, no asking if we found what we needed. She seemed angry we were even there and wanted us to go. Fast forward to today, I come in this afternoon with my family, we couldn't decide what we wanted for our picnic. We finally decided on the chicken meal deal from the deli. As we walked past the self check out, the woman worker there was watching me like a hawk as I looked around at the sandwiches. We get to the deli and I looked over and seen the same woman staring at me still. Same a few minutes later when my husband looked. My husband brought it up to the manager and all her excuse was "that's just how she is" pretty dumb excuse if you want customers to return. I do not want to shop somewhere being watched like that when I have not done anything wrong. Keep an eye on the real thieves and don't assume someone is one. Other than that, the chicken from the deli was amazing. Seasoned just right, it was still hot when we got to our destination. Please talk to your workers about how they treat your customers.

It's my local Safeway it's close to my house. Usually has decent sales/ Safeway for U deals. The employees are great and always friendly.The area isn't the safest place at night, but every city deals with that in parts. The store itself is our usual choice to grocery shop or for a last minute plant/ candle gift purchase.

Staff is horribly RUDE at customer service. I only go to get inconvinanced everytime , they never disappoint. Also the deli has sum issues with putting to much work on employees. It's just the worst.

Staff not too friendly at this Store. The Customer Service counter or the Cashiers. Bananas are always green. Parking lot is always dirty. Didn't feel as Welcome here. When you have speak to the Cashier first, when you are checking out, somebody either have too many years in, or need an update on Customer Service Training. Shop at the Albertson to the Left... 2 blocks away😁?

A nice play to show with helpful staff. It is a clean, well organized, and friendly environment. Like any store you need to be aware of prices, some are awesome and some are quite pricey. Using the Safeway app is the way to go amd very helpful for finding the best deals and it also gives great personalized deals. This store is definitely worth a visit!This Safeway also is great because it tends to have excellent gas prices too!

Don't get shot or robbed going in and out of here. Rude workers also. Stay under the blinking lights with the solar panels on your walk through the parkinglot so that way if something happens to you the police of pierce county can see it at least.

I thought it was odd Seafood dept closed at 6. Good prices on steaks. Not a lot of people. Checkout was faster than I thought it would be.

I was going to try some Cauliflower flat breads about 2 weeks ago but noticed that they expired in March and it was the end of July. I brought the whole case to the clerk and told them they should take them off the shelf that they were expired. I just went to the same store today and decided to see if they had fresh ones now and noticed that they put the same case of expired food back and now it’s August 5th. This is gross. You can do better than this. I actually like this store but I always check the dates.
