Although this particular store is temporarily closed "for repairs", I feel the sign should reflect an estimated reopening date or at least an update on its status🤔. Therefore, I cannot give anything beyond 3 stars due to categories I cannot experience at this store. However, the alternative locations I have visited are great! But I have to travel quite a distance. So it would be nice to know how soon this location will reopen. However, looking forward to this place opening soon to experience excellent service nearby!

The assistant manger was very rude and so were some of the workers as well... It had taken me two weeks to obtain my refund from the store cause they were determined not to give it back .. I had to go to the general manager to get my refund... The employee he had told me to contacted one of his workers that would help me but taken me through so much to finally get my refund...

This store has a wide selection of products in every department. They have a large selection of salt and fresh water critters, birds, other critters, well as reptiles. I used to take the kids on rainy days just to look at the animals. We currently set up two fresh water tanks, and they had everything we wanted as well as a knowledgeable staff that helped us with our questions. We had a couple of returns, and they were great about it. #LetsGuide #LocalGuides

Needed fruit flies for my jumping spiders. Left with that and some king bettas, never heard of them! They're big, beautiful, & healthy. They have a great selection of healthy bettas in uncommon color variations and breeds. They also had fruit fly culture cups in a tube and in a 16 oz cup. Bettas like fruit flies as treats also.

Went to pick up some advantage for my pets and puck up my Newts favorite baby a giant hedge hog this is the biggest one I've ever seen. Newt can barely carry him around. It's soo cute.

It's been months almost a year since this sign has been up when is this place gonna open? I shouldn't have to travel towards 6th Ave or lakewood. At this point this sign is a lie.

This review has to do with my vital care premium membership. At first glace it seems like a good deal if you shop a lot for your pet. But they sort of pressure you into agreeing to a contract without reading it at the register with people behind you in line. I didn’t realize there was a one-year commitment. After I committed, this location shut down and now there are no locations near me, so I'm not making much use of it. Then I tried to use my rewards before they expired to buy super worms at the other locations and they didn’t have them in stock so I lost my rewards. Pretty frustrating.

I went to buy a fish. I’m new to fish and wasn’t thinking. Most of the fish in the tank were dead. But she was already getting the fish out. I felt bad for him. She said they had just got the fish the night before and some were too stressed to survive. :/ needless to say, the cat fish didn’t even make it through the night. I’ll never buy any fish from them again. If they knew anything about fish, you have to quarantine them, and then you sell them. They don’t take good care of their fish. Picture of my healthy tank. Fish was dead this morning. Just like the ones he came with.

All we need for our kitty Mika, shes growing and learning to be civilized, poo where needs to, and the only store that carry great litter for kittens is Petco, and food is 40c cheaper then other store. It is good for us, to find this info. Man, she eats a lot, u can see she puts her belly up and rests after:)Also, we were there, happy shoppers, and spontaneously decided to "round up"our family members to 7, haha, bought Fighty, our fishy:), not expensive too!

For me, this is really just a small free zoo. I've never actually bought anything at a Petco. My kids love to go on and just look at the animals. Perfect while my wife has been sucked into the abyss called Joann's...

Absolutely disgusted by the lack of care and negligence the staff has for their fish. So many workers on the floor stocking stuff, but no one even noticed the two dead fish on the floor that jumped out their tanks and when taken to the front all you hear is a, “thank you.” Then again, what more would you expect from a petco?

Been here many times before, workers are friendly, good layout with basically everything you’d need in pet store. Would give 5 but they’ve been closed for a few months and not sure when they’re planning to reopen 🤔

During this nonsense everybody is at their wit's end- but when I went in a little overwhelmed and a little clueless about my old argentine dogo...Jim helped me out and even tried to find things in store to fit her impossible shape. Definitely recommend if you're mask conscious and on the anxious side.

Friendly staff and usually has everything we need. Love coming here for fish and our lizard needs. The young man in the fish department ,Malik ,was very helpful and friendly. The lady cashier was very helpful and sociable which is always a plus.

In and out for emergency bird food for a bird that I caught in my backyard. Was telling clerk and another found my post and we were able to reunite bird with owner !.

I love how the sign on the door redirects us to the petco on 6th ave. I drive all the way over there and they’re “temporarily closed” as well.
