This is my favorite pet store, and I feel I've tried them all! Good variety of minimal ingredient food options with competitive prices. Also, they return all items. I've never had any issues when my picky pet doesn't like something, and I want to return or exchange.

My very first time in here ..was AMAZING, customer service was excellent they came to me, the store IS CLEANER THAN A HUMAN FOOD STORE, no joke, I love this place going to go back when I have more time.Thank you for the coupon for five dollars off in the welcoming card you gave me.I looked pretty bad I had just got out of the ER and the ladies in there treated me like I was going to spend a million dollars (if I had I would have). Thank you for treating me well I can't wait to introduce you to my fur babies, Little Girl and Poppy. They been open since 1988.

Super friendly staff! I have been shopping there since I got my puppy, Charlie, at 2 months old and he just loves everyone there.I used to think they were super expensive. But when I started shopping around for items of equivalent quality, their prices are quite good.I have an excitable pup. They never come up to him without permission or talk to him in a squeaky voice, which makes him get out of hand very quickly.

Haven't found a Mud Bay I didn't like. Dog adores the staff and their free treats! Can always count on the workers to give me solid advice and answers to my questions. Quality toys and food, and not a bunch of junk that the big box pet stores have

Look, I'm just touristing in the Seattle area and I end up in Mud Bay buying $30 of the cutest freaking cat toys ever. If you're used to shopping in chain pet stores, I urge you to stop in here for a few minutes to see the difference. We're lucky enough to have a gem of a shop like this back home that sells only the highest quality pet food at competitive prices and is staffed with knowledgable, friendly employees who actually care about your pets. And best of all, they sell NO animals so they're not supporting any animal mills. (THANK YOU! ❤) Two paws up from me!

One of the best chains for pet care and the staff at Stadium really knows their stuff. If you're not sure of a product you can ask to pick someone's brain and they will make sure to point you to the staff member with the most experience using that product.

I like this place a lot! At the store, I mentioned of my dog's condition. The sales clark(a young dude) was very polite and sincere. He explained to me about benefits and functions of some dog food brands, which was very helpful. He also gave me several samples cuz I wanted to try different dog food (my dog seemed to be tired of the same food). He also added suppliment in case of my dog reacted to the new food. At the end, he told me I can return the food I bought today if it didn't fit with my dog (e.g., caused stomach upset). I just thought about the levels of his services is outstanding!! I got kicked out of a Korean restaurant after I put tips the other day (at Gangnum). l'd rather put tips to the guy's services at Mud Bay!!

The male cashier was more concerned in talking to a customer that had already checked out and basically ignored me completely during check out. Super rude and dismissive. Will be buying my things elsewhere next time. Hope they are offering better training so that future customers are not treated this way.

I love Mud Bay. It's one of the only places that consistently has my dog's brand of food in stock, and i was surprised they are the cheapest! I order online and i walk my dog to go pick it up, which i love the curbside service. When i call, they meet me at the door, and The Empress usually gets a treat, which she loves. If we have to walk somewhere past Mud Bay, she still tries to stop to get her treat, both directions 😆 Can't fault her for trying. Staff is really friendly and nice. I judge people by how well my dog likes them and she would give them 4 paws up 🐾🐾

Super friendly staff. Was super excited to learn about their trial program with wet food for my cat. I am trying to change my cats food and I was informed that Mud Bay has a program that will comp cans of food for you until you find the perfect match.Besides that the staff is always knowledgeable and eager to help you find what you’re looking for. The place is clean and well stocked, and if there is anything missing, there is usually a sign that gives you a heads up as to why it’s missing.

I love mud bay! I go to this location and the one in UP and neither disappoint! If you want to go somewhere with good products for your pets and knowledgeable and kind employees, this is it! One of our kitties has food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to help. They gave us samples of products to see what worked best for him and now he is doing much better and loves his quality food.

Fantastic, knowledgeable staff is eager to help you find what you need. I was wowed by their friendliness and all the great information they shared.Not all pet stores have a good cat section. This store has an in-depth selection of toys, food, health and treats for felines! I bought a harness for my cat who is a rescued feral. She's trying to understand being able to come back in the house if she sneaks out...she wants to be in but likes a sniff of the outdoors. Mud Bay had FOUR different cat harnesses and several of the staff had great advice & first-hand experience.The food selection for cats and dogs is excellent. All the high end brands are represented. I found a nice waterless shampoo for my senior dog and treats designed to prevent my cat's hairballs.Parking can be tough - street only. Spaces in front of the store are back in only.

Today's experience was super cool the employees offer to actually feed my dogs their birthday pup cups. I was assisted out with their dog food. And they got to snap a couple other dogs that were super friendly as well. My overall experience say was phenomenal thank you

I came in last minute because I didn't realize the time and they didn't close early or anything even though no one else was in the store. I was quick to get my stuff and very thankful. They're always very nice staff, will offer my dog treats and even carry heavy bags out to the car! Great brands and great service!!

Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly too. As soon as I came in they welcomed me to the area since we are new here. They listened to an issue about our cat and immediately started helping me find possible food solutions. They gave me some free samples to try out before we commit to a certain brand and even some free cat treats. We will definitely being going back.

Gotta love this place. Small shop service with competitive prices. Looking for some new food for a senior dog. They provided 3 sample cans (full size) to test things out. Who says good service is a thing of the past.

This place has amazing, unique items. Very high quality. The staff is exceptional. They always welcome you with a smile and are knowledgeable about the products they sell. There's really no other pet store like it in Tacoma. Definitely worth a trip. Your animals will thank you for it! :)
