Efia the woman working at the tacoma location who helped me with my doodle was amazing!!! she fitted him with a harness walked us around the store showed us all the products and answered all my questions !! She was super knowledgeable with everything! I had a horrible experience at a local pet store in my hometown it was a huge let down after we had just gotten a new puppy and was purchasing everything brand new. I’m grateful for LDO and the woman who had the best customer service definitely coming back!!

Solid, quality selections - mostly for dogs with a decent variety for cats. I buy raw meat for my cats here and they have a punch program for it! I appreciate that.They have cute accessories - some of the cutest collars around.The staff here is funny and friendly - helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

I had a rough day today, and the ladies at Lucky Dog made me feel so much better, making jokes and going out of their way to help me find a castle box for my cat. Love this place. It has unique, high quality treats, toys and apparel for dogs. It also has a little section for cats and every toy I've purchased from here my animals love. I bought a rain coat for my golden retriever over 3 years ago and it's still in perfect condition, and you know how it rains here in Washington! The staff is superb, too. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

This place is amazing. The staff are extremely helpful, they always remember me and my pup Mila. It seems like they only hire people who love animals. All the staff are friendly, willing to help even with the hard questions. They provide insight that I might not have thought about for my cats. For example, Rescue Remedy which is a natural stress relief for cats and it absolutely worked for my girls when I moved. I love coming to the store, the staff their make my day!

We brought Frankie in there today to find a nice rain jacket and we couldn't be happier.First the staff is amazing. They were honest about which jackets would fit our growing puppy. They were super friendly, knowledgeable but very relaxed and not overly in your business.Secondly, their diversity in products is very appreciated. Apparel galore, tons of treats and they even have a freezer full of varieties of raw treats so you can make your own.New best place for sure!Thanks guys and Frankie is sleeping in his jacket... first time he has loved one like this.

I was able to order a tag for my dog that looks like it will last and not be like the machine tags that are at other pet stores wherein the information is worn of in weeks. Will shop there again.

Owner knows (because I talked with her) about the link between "grain free" dog foods and fatal heart conditions in dogs: she just says the science isn't in and it's all anecdotal, **despite what the cardiologist vet and our regular vet told me ** So, how's this for you, then: both of our young dogs that were on a food you knowingly sold us were ill: one died last week, and the other has been diagnosed WITH THE EXACT SAME CONDITION. Now we struggle to save her. ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED WITH A SIMPLE SIGN WARNING OWNERS ABOUT THIS FOOD. Or, maybe don't sell it. But no: the owner seems to think she knows better than all of the vets out there. We will never go back to someone who seems to ignore the science. Our dogs could still be alive today. Bottom line: avoid dog foods with lentils: according to our veterinarians, lentils are a killer for dogs. I'll never go back to this place.

1st visit. Very knowledgeable and super friendly staff. Was able to find a narrow collar to fit my pup Jurnee, and got some samples and info on trying a new better dog food. I'm super impressed and will be returning for my future dog needs.
