Fantastic selection of koi. Pond plants are also excellent. Staff is knowledgeable and really friendly. Well taken care of establishment with beautiful grounds. I will be buying all my pond supplies here just because of how nice and helpful they were. They let me grab a couple of frogs that were hanging out for free since they do not stock and are not allowed to sell frogs. Even gave the kids a couple lollipops.

its cool place to observe Koi. there was a someone who seemed working but just ignored us so cannot say #friendly# to just visitor.Parking: structured. NO PET ALLOWED. there was one german shepherd, off leash n chilling.

We are first time pond and koi owners and searched all over the internet for consistent and reliable information, but found it so challenging to find one place that could help! We’re so glad we found Hoshi Koi! The family owned and operated company has been established for 22 years and they were all SO knowledgeable and friendly. One of the staff members let us feed the largest koi by hand and then answered all of our question for about 30 minutes. They are down to earth and have all sizes of koi, baby to massive. Definitely will be our go-to pond and Koi supply place!

When we pulled up to the driveway entering Hoshi Koi, we were greeted with a beautiful waterfall and sign. The short drive to the gravel parking lot has pristine ponds and waterfalls at different levels all along the way. The entire place is beautiful and you can tell it took years and years for it to mature to what we see today. The selection of Koi is awesome! From the smallest koi of around 3-4" to the largest being well over 2 feet in length and the girth of a 2l of soda. All exhibit striking colors and are very healthy. Sue, the owner, is very nice and spent time explaining every question my wife and I had. You can tell that she loves what she does as she knows Koi like the back of her hand. There is also a nice variety of pond plants which is why we were there, for her popular water hyacinths. If you are looking for Koi goto Hoshi Koi, you will not be disappointed! A definite 5 stars, 2 thumbs wayyyy up , and will highly recommend to all...

Great aquatic plants. I am a gardener and have found really great plants at Hoshi Koi. Because they have such amazing Koi and goldfish I think maybe my gardening friends forget that this place has probably one of the best selections of aquatic and semi aquatic plants in our area and probably washington state. I have found so many nice plants here... just bought a Texas Dawn water lily at Hoshi Koi and it's a primo-plant. The prices are equal to the online stores which is the only other source of aquatic plants that I have found with this amount of selection. So gardeners should stop by and check it out.... Maybe mix it up with some aquatic pots in your garden scape... also they have really good goldfish... for ponds. I'm not a Koi person.... because they grub up the plants in my ponds but if you like Koi they seem to have lots of them too and people are always ooohing and aaaing over them. I like their plants and would highly recommend them to a serious gardener.

Omg had such a great time. So knowledgeable and friendly. Check then out, they don't only have pond and koi supplies but a you pick blueberry farm. Less than $2 per pound.

Huge selection of Koi. Good selection of plants, too. Prices were a little steep in my opinion. $4 for small floating plants, $20+ for anything a gallon size and up. Crummy customer service, though. I had to work hard to get any help. One guy was nice, said he’d been out of town for awhile so he was out of the loop with current stock, but nobody else was interested in assisting or answering questions. They also smoke cigarettes in the office/checkout area and that’s nasty, especially for an ex-smoker.

I have been trying to get to Hoshi Koi for awhile now and was fortunate to get a few minutes to stop and check it out. Being late in the season I wasn't sure what to expect but I was not disappointed. Still several varieties of Koi and goldfish. I had my eye on a Kikokuryu; I should have purchased with a few other smaller ones to grow out over the winter. Definitely next time. Love the showroom and I am excited to visit again.

It's a nice place and the fish are beautiful..not sure why every person was delighted that posted on review.Our experience was a little different Sue charged us 104.00 dollars for a light bulb (UV) I guess I should have looked on line first..as I purchased them from ebay 2 bulbs for 12.99If I had known what she charged I would not have paid $80.00 for a 18 watt . My husband did not tell me till we were half way home. I will not be showing there anymore

I've been to Japan a couple times for koi over the past 25 years. By far the biggest investment you will make in a koi pond. I like to stop at koi shops and see what.they have for offer. This is a really nice farm. Good quality water and healthy fish. I don't know if any of the fish were hand culled Japanese koi but they were priced accordingly.

A friend recommended this store to me for a good selection of pond fish. Hoshi Koi did not disappoint. Mostly koi but they also have smaller goldfish, catfish, and maybe others I missed. The price on fish isn't pet store cheap, but they aren't pet store fish. I ended up getting water plants - $40 for a gorgeous, decent size water lily and $3.50 each for hyacinth (other plants are available too).FYI - no outside dogs allowed since they have a lot of dogs on site. We missed the sign as it was blocked by a truck and a woman was a little miffed at us, but it ended up alright.

I've called and left messages a few times and never got a response! When they actually answered, after just a couple of questions she seemed quite annoyed and rushed me off the phone.I finished my large pond install a month prior and was ready to stock it with 12 Koi. Wanted to shop locally but, they don't deserve my business.Ended up going with "Next Day Koi instead. Great customer service and a 14 day guarantee!

Bought 2 butterfly koi from here for my mom $75 each! After introducing them to her pond a week later all of her fish started acting weird. We called to see if they could help diagnose the problem and help but no one ever answered or called back. Found out from other koi experts that one of the fish I got for here had ICK a super hard to kill infection. She lost her 20lb. 30 inch catfish 15 koi and gold fish ranging from 4 inch to 15 inch. They have yet to call back. The problem still isn’t solved in her pond but there is hope that it won’t kill her giant 34inch koi but the experts say she will definitely lose more fish before it gets better. I understand things happens and you never know but the fact that no one has called back or answered the numerous phone calls will be the deciding factor in never coming back. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The guy who helped me educated me about what exactly I needed and told me where to get it.
