Usually always well stocked, shelves orderly and the floor clean , but the lines for goodness sake today there is 14 people waiting on one girl checking I've seen 17 so today was a good day for the Dollar Tree 6th Ave, I guess.

We went at 1:00 p.m. on a Monday , they were not busy at all . there was very short wait in line to check out maybe one person in front of me. there was a lot of floor people stocking and cleaning so overall it's your standard Dollar tree experience.

I visited the Dollar Tree store in Tacoma, Washington (Store # 2016) on 7/15/2023. The time was 1:43PM. The name of the cashier was Virginia. The cashier was so rude to me. I had to take out the items out of my shopping basket, something that I have NEVER had to do in any store, including Dollar Tree. I also had to bag my own items, something I NEVER had to do in any store, with the exception of using the self-checkout. So, I talked to assistant manager at this store, and she informed me that the cashiers' ask the customers to take the items out to make it easier for the cashiers. I can understand if the items were in a shopping cart, but my items were in a shopping basket, so I shouldn't have to take them out of the basket. The only way the cashiers will bag your items, you will have to purchase a shopping bag, which is $.08 a piece. But otherwise, you will have to bag your own items. I have been to other Dollar Tree stores here in Washington State, and I have NEVER had to take the items out of the shopping basket, and NEVER had to bag my own items, regardless of bringing my own bag or purchasing a bag. Every store should have the same procedures when it comes to checking out customers, and not be different in every store.

Nice big store. Shopped for food and Birthday items. Got cake mixes and 2 chocolate frostings , best friend made my birthday cake 3 days later. It tasted funny, Turned out it was the frosting, it had an expiration date Of April, 2015. I got sick. Called the store explained, waited for a call back,to at least check how I was feeling!! Never got a call.!!!!Very Disappointed of how the situation was Not handled!! Not cool!!!!! How was the item even on the shelf??

Only place I buy greeting cards, art supplies for my great grand sons, make up removing cloths with retinol for me, bleach, dog treats are 1/2 the price of Fred Meyer, seasonal decorations, plates, dish towels. You can find a lot of everyday things for much less😄

I love this new store. It's clean, organized, and presented very well. I only give it 3 stars because the store cannot keep product supplied on the shelves. It's rare that I can get everything I went there for.

I recently visited this store and usually have found it to be the most presentable of all the Dollar tree stores I had been to except not this time. It was a mess. Floor had merchandise all over and the check out lines (2) were extremely long. I do not like shopping in a store that is cluttered. I have a harder time finding what I am there for and I have to constantly watch what I may step on. I appreciate good prices but not over valuable time.

Sara c treated the old man in front of me in the check out line very poorly. She stated in front of customers “thanks for making my job harder and making a mess” after he tried helping her find a bag. She yelled at him that there weren’t any bags. She was very harsh and denied good customer service to all of us . She is a terrible employee and even told a child to meanly “can you hold on a sec” after he tried to show her his fishing toys. We won’t be returning.

Its a new store wanted to check it out and its a better one also have more than these other stores like it they were stacked up on every shelf and the line didn't take but about 2 minutes of wait time

This Dollar Tree is the best one when it comes to variety of products that were always stocked up on the shelves. The employees were always nice and very willing to help out customers find what they needed. The store the majority of the time was always clean and organized. Within the 11yrs of going there I can only think of a handful of times it was unorganized which it usually was around Christmas time. Since they had the ceiling fall in I’ve gone to the one by Target. That store is a joke. I can say 9 out of 10x they don’t have what I need in stock. The store is a dirty unorganized mess with not very friendly staff. I’ve also gone to the one on E 72nd. That one is a little bit better then the one by Target. They do have a better variety of products but not as much as 6th Ave. It does seem to be cleaner but also unorganized.

I would give this Dollar Tree a 5 because this is really the only one I go to and I really like this Dollar Tree but today I'm only giving it a three because I was just there today at 3:20pm March 21st and the cashier at the first register has a bad attitude I think she needs to go home and get some sleep because I had to go to another register for my own sanity

Great little Dollar Tree store! Clean and not crowded and no long check out lines! 👍👍👍 I was trying to pick up some balloons, but they were out of helium. I guess there is a shortage currently. 🤷‍♀️

Probably the most well stocked, cleaned, friendly and pleasant shopping experience I've ever had at a dollar tree. I've made this my go to tree now, and have already started telling friends and family about this tree.

This place is very friendly. It seems that they are always short handed at the register, but everyone I've met is quick to help and courteous. Any bad behavior is always on the customer's side. I don't understand why people think because it's a Dollar Tree you can act like a snottish slob, but these employees keep the store looking nice. The shelves are neat and the place is clean.

I had a bad experience here today.First of all, the store was a mess. Shelves not stocked, items in the wrong places, bins overflowing.Second, the cashier was.... odd. The first thing I noticed about her was that she was slow. It took almost ten minutes to ring up three people, none with more than twenty small items. Then, the lane dividers kept disappearing. We were looking for one along the rack, where they usually are, and no luck. So we grabbed one that was half on the conveyor belt. The cashier scolded us and took it from my friend's hand! Apparently she used it to cover the conveyor belt sensor? It was rude. Finally we realized she'd been placing the others along the front of the belt where we couldn't see them. We took one and placed it behind our items, so that the woman after us could begin placing our items. The cashier TOOK IT BACK and returned it to the side without saying a word. Again, rude. So the woman after us couldn't unload her cart until we were done and leaving. Also, it's worth noting that the woman in front of us was allowed to use multiple lane dividers to separate her orders, but after she used them they were placed where we couldn't see them. And apparently, we weren't allowed to use them anyway.I will not return to this location - there's like three others in tacoma and I'd rather drive farther if it means being treated better.

great location it's just sad what happened to that roof. basically their location at target isn't as good as the other locations because i like getting candy canes and couldn't get any today because of the 6th avenue one being closed off because of the recent development. but hope their location will be repaired and reopened in the near future.

As a job, alarmingly terrible. When you first walk in for an interview, you can get a feel for how incompetent management is. Must be new and not know their way around. Make you wait 25 minutes for an interview (I was polite and giving them 30), then not show up for work on your first day. If you need a job and don’t mind waiting on whenever the managers show up, neat. Otherwise, surely a sign of how bad this job would be.

Shopping there was good except they won't let their carts go out of the store. Carrying stuff is difficult for me. I use my Walker and their basket. I would probably spend more if I could have more room.

I see tasha likes to take advantage of most staff members. I am a regular at this store and the University Place dollars tree .I can't believe how unprofessional she was towards staff behind closed doors people still got ears on how she is to people and Sandra too they both work together to cover there backs but to treat people of color like they do is wrong. I remember when tasha would take her 3 hour lunch and not return did she think people wouldn't notice well I did I am a regular it doesn't matter what store she is at she gets away with to much. It's upsetting to here Sandra the district manager likes to go to the stores to talk about her vacations it should be about work she is unprofessional and to bag check employees off the clock is illegal they also would have people leave their bags in front of the store because they told them too is also illegal. You guys are taking advantage of all types of employees and customer.
