The place is understaffed and can't keep an employee. This place is disgusting and a mess. The floors are always super dirty and the product is strewn all over the floors. Who owns this slum store? Do better!Prices are low so 2 stars.

My recent visit to the dollar store in Tacoma was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that customer service was not a priority. The cashier appeared disinterested and moved at a glacial pace, making the checkout process excruciatingly slow. Moreover, the store itself was disgustingly dirty, with an overwhelming stench of urine lingering in the air. The presence of homeless individuals only added to the unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was by far the worst shopping experience I've ever had.

Price has gone up to $1.25. The shelves were well stocked. There is a frozen department at this dollar store. This store also carries permanent vinyl in a few colors including glittery. I didn’t see HTV though. I have not used it with my cricut so I can’t personally recommend it yet. Happy shopping

There are good people with very pleasant customer service experience. It's just too bad that some customers that visits don't share the same respect towards the company interior or exterior.Have y'all seen the outside of the store recently. It's just a disgrace how folks can just assume that it's okay to break out windows and tear up so badly and ruin the fun and exciting experience for everyone else

This dollar she was awesome!! It was very clean, and it was well stocked!! They seem to have everything I needed. Even the lady that cashed me out was friendly. Not my experience from other dollar stores in this. I was very pleasantly surprised!!

Walked in here the other morning to observe the manager holding up an entire line of customers so he could talk to his buddies at the front of the line. Then, I got followed by a guy in the store who was "just checking me out", so I left. I wasnt going to stand in a line while being glared at and waiting for the MANAGER to start doing his job ringing up customers.

It is a decent Dollar Tree. Usually well stocked with its base items and seasonal offerings. Often short staffed, a symptom of the times, I expect. Note the line as you enter and allow a little time for check out. Do not wait 6 minutes before your ride departs to check out and then take it out on the staff. /rant. ;P

Has a decent selection, unfortunately due to the location the staff has a hard time keeping the shelves stocked nicely. A lot of shelves everything looks rummaged through with nothing put back where it belongs. The managers seem nice as well.

What happened to my favorite store? Empty shelves. Not even making the attempt to make it look full. The floors were like a kids hamburger joint floor would like after a week of non sweeping and mopping. Employee just shrugged his shoulders after I asked if they were going out of business and said the trucks are not delivering and did not “hear” anything about the floor.Whether it is self sabotage or employee sabotage the dollar tree is going out of business if this keeps going on. Please, bring the clean. well stocked and mostly good employees back!

Today my friend and I went in there to shop for some Christmas presents and we were treated like we were trash. At first a black man that works there came and snatched a bag out of my friends hand and put it in a shopping cart then proceeded to tell us very loudly that he was going to take it up to the front and we can get it when we check out but that he was going to be holding on to it. We were so embarrassed and I plan on calling corporate about this issue because we were doing absolutely nothing wrong at all. We are extremely distraught by this man's unjustified and careless actions. WE DO NOT STEAL. THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS. I PLAN ON MAKING SURE THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN. THIS MAN SHOULD BE FIRED FOR REAL.

The store was really messy but honestly the way that Dollar tree does their business they put a bunch of people at one store and make it look beautiful and they let the other ones get trashed and the people working there are miserable and they can't keep up because they don't have enough help for the sale they do. Dollar tree just runs things like s*** that's all

This is the nastiest Dollartree in all of Tacoma. The floor has not been swept nor mopped in years. No exaggeration. Before recently moving, I've come into this store weekly for years and the downgrade of its upkeep is very alarming. At this point, the only 2 options is shut it down or get district management in. Low stocked, smelly and the turn over rate of the staff is telling. If you want a shopping experience that is comfortable and efficient, go to the Lakewood/Steilacoom branch or the newly opened one on 6th ave.***UPDATE***They have finally deep cleaned this store!Floor are mopped, shelves are organized and the cashier has been the same for the past few months!

This is one of the worst Dollar Trees there is customer service is terrible the workers hate their job and let you know it the place look like a tornado hit it there's stuff all over the place half of it not stocked or they don't have the items

Normally I enjoy coming here. Even when staff is in demand and only 1 cashier working it still isn't a bad place to go. But today....Miriam kinda changed all that. While checking out, she was on a call, on speaker with person on other end cussing up and storm...on SPEAKER!! Not only that but I bought some snacks that were crushed bc she was focused on her call she was just shoving items together in a bag. Her actions had me in such dismay, I actually used the wrong card on my purchase and it cost me more than it should have. As a customer service rep myself, I'm surprised such actions are permissible. So disappointing.

They close at 9:30. Manager said she closes early to do paperwork. 😒 very inconvenient for customers and I’m sure against policy. She offered me entry after I seen her allow a different customer to enter and I was still in the parking lot.

They are physically harassing customers here and “don’t feel like” Doing portions of their job which cost my transaction to be entirely to deleted they wouldn’t let me leave with the items that I paid for I had to go home get my phone call the bank to prove that I didn’t have a refund coming back in before I could leave with these items and the whole time the old lady was being very rude very disrespectful and she was the one snatching things out of peoples hands she then refused me my receipt saying that she needed it to prove which I understand but it would not give me the receipt would not give me any contact information to talk to anybody to get a receipt for my purchases as these items are for a business and I need them for tax information

Absolutely disgusting. Merchandise on all the aisles, throw up in 2 areas - Smelled SOOO bad!!!! Their floors haven’t been cleaned in I don’t know how long… they’re literally black. I do not recommend this store to anyone!!!

Love walking into this Dollar Tree and hearing, "welcome to Dollar Tree!"I mean, I spend at least $100 a month at The Dollar Tree. It's a nice touch to try to welcome me.Store was clean, but missing my favorites.However, they DID have my hard to find pens!
