Wonderful!Took our youngest for a trial run and they were very informative. Offered extra options but didn’t “force” them on me. The pricing was very reasonable.We went back and boarded all 3 of our dogs for a long weekend and it was amazing to not have to worry about the pups while we were gone. All three came back happy 😊.

Never bringing my dog here again. She came back with chafing on her paws and snout. They told me that they just now noticed her injuries when I picked her up. Shows that they aren't even watching her. The chainlink fence is not safe for her mouth. She also came back very weak, skinny, could barely walk, and she had labored breathing at night. Very scary she was not the same dog I came in with

Out of the local kennels I've tried, this is by far our favorite! My elderly dog definitely seems to prefer it, too! They take great care of her, and we usually have them bathe her and clip her nails, too. She comes back happy as a clam, which is saying something since she's super codependent with me!!

I love Country Kennels! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating and have so much patience for my mastiff. I’ve boarded my dogs here many times and they’ve always been communicative and great with both my boys!

We are truly shocked by our dog’s last visit. We have been taking our dog here for almost two years, probably over a dozen times, and every time she came home happy and well-cared for. Unfortunately our most recent visit in October will be our last.We booked a take home bath when we made our three night reservation. When our dog was dropped off we were told they were a bit short staffed and that the bath might not happen, and if they couldn’t get the bath in that they’d call us. We heard nothing from them so the morning of pick up I called to arrange a pick up time. To my surprise I was told the bath couldn’t happen and I’d have to pick up by noon if I didn’t want to be charged for daycare.At pickup my dog was brought out. Because the of short staffing they couldn’t do the bath or the private playtime we asked for (again no call or communication about this for pickup). I got in the car with her and she reeked of dirt and urine. It was so strong I had to drive home with the windows down. I immediately gave her a bath when we got home because of the smell. As I shampooed and washed her, huge clumps of hair fell out in my hand and into the tub. I’ve washed my dog many many times over her lifetime and I have never seen so much hair loss from her and she’s never had that happen after she’s stayed at other kennels. I can only guess that the stress of her stay led to her hair loss which is incredibly concerning.I checked her bag and noticed almost half of her food was still in the bag. I only put in an extra two cups when I packed it so I also prealized they likely didn’t feed her at every mealtime.Honestly my heart aches knowing my dog was likely neglected on our short weekend trip. Our expectations for our dog are not super high, we just need a safe, clean place for her where she can get fed twice a day and taken out so she’s not laying in her own urine for a whole weekend. Country Kennels was not able to meet these basic expectations. If we had known the short staffing would so deeply affect our dog’s stay, we could have either taken her with us or stayed home. The urine smell, hair loss, underfeeding and no communication by staff was enough for us to say never again to Country Kennels.

Absolutely amazing place. My Mini Aussie Sage was very happy with her stay. She usually is happy to see me at first then pouts for a couple hours after she's been boarded, but this time she was happy to see me and wanted to play for the rest of the day. I take that as a positive.

I was happy with the pride that is evident in this facility. The staff were helpful during my tour. I immediately felt comfortable with using this facility.I boarded Teddy Bear for the first time ever. They were professional and polite and comforting. The facility is very clean, organized, and well staffed. The setting just made me very comfortable in taking my pet here and leaving him in their care.The pictures they posted on the website were helpful and assured me that they were making sure he was in a great place and having fun.When I picked Teddy up he was very happy of course. I noticed how comfortable and clean and relaxed he appeared.If ever I need a daycare or boarding again, I will absolutely take Teddy Bear here again.

Awesome kennel with fantastic staff! Country Kennels was super helpful and flexible with care for my dog during birth of my child. They were able to accommodate our needs and were so kind! It was our dog's first stay in a kennel and he was well cared for and happy. Thank you for taking care of our dog and taking that stress off during the birth of our child!!

My puppy stayed for 5 days in the dog boarding. The owner and employees are super nice and they will answer all the questions you have. The price is very affordable!! I called once to check on my puppy and she gave me a update. Pick up and drop off was fast and easy.

I had my two pups here for about a week while I was on vacation. Booking, dropping off, and picking up was easy and pricing is very fair. There are plenty of add-on options, like daycare if you have dogs that enjoy socializing. They also don't have an issue with feeding instructions (like adding water, vitamins). Same household dogs are able to stay in the same kennel but can be separated if needed for feeding time. I'd highly recommend Country Kennels and will gladly take my pups here again.

I love these guys! I have always had friends keep my fur babies, but my last two vacations it's been a no-go with friends. So I very reluctantly looked into boarding them and am so glad I did. My boys were very well taken care of, and I could call anytime I wanted to check on them. Their space was a little small for three crates, but I can live with that. My boys come back happy and clean and with no problems, so it's a win all the way around. I have tentatively planned a short trip in April, and they have already saved them a spot. Give them a try you won't regret it!

My wife found this kennel while looking for alternative kennels in the area. These folks have been absolutely wonderful in taking care of our dog, whether it's just for the day or for an extended period of time.We've dropped her off several times. The process of picking her up and dropping her off has been seamless, and our dog, as nervous and anxious as she gets, eventually warms up and does fine there. Being able to get updates on how she's doing is always a nice bonus.The only very small knock I have is we left a note to make sure she doesn't have play-time with other dogs, but they placed her with another dog. It's a very small knock and our dog did just fine, so it's not like it hampered our experience of bringing her here.I would highly recommend this place for folks who want to leave their dog for the day or for an extended period of time. Best of all, pricing isn't exorbitant!

Dropped off our two dogs so we could spend a week in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. They posted pictures of play time on there website and communicated well. We understand that they are busy caring for our pups so when we would call, we’d leave a message and they would get back to us pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend. Our puppies seemed happy.

It was my first time using Country Kennels, I normally board my cats at my vet but they weren’t boarding because of Covid. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because Country Kennels completely exceeded my expectations. My cats had plenty of time and space to play together and the staff was very attentive to them. Everything was spot on professional, staff was very friendly and to top it off they even have a military discount. Great work, I will be using them exclusively in the future. VERY pleased!

Country Kennels watched my 2 dogs for 10 days when we went to Maui. They posted photos of my dogs daily on their Facebook page. They watched them when the temperature in Tacoma was over 105 degrees at the end of June 2021. Country Kennels posted that they were preparing for the extreme heat and had a plan to care of the animals properly, giving me confidence in the boarding service. When I picked my dogs up they were in great shape and happy. Country Kennels gave my dogs their own kennels at my request because one of my dogs can show dog aggression when stressed. They were very willing to deal with all my dogs' special needs, including cautions around potential dog aggression as well as food and supplement instructions. They allowed me to bring the dogs' bedding and pillows, and they even washed pillows and blankets for me before pick up. I will definitely use them again and recommend them as a good choice to board your dogs.

We are so thankful for the compassion and care the staff provided our dog Freya. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and so were we. I wish I could remember her name, but the kind woman at the front desk gave Freya a bath before pickup even though we decided at the last minute to pick her up two days early. Our pup is normally pretty anxious, but she was relaxed and in such good spirits when we picked her up. We will definitely bring her back next time Tacoma is on our way out of town. ❤️

I've taken both my dogs there for two vacations and I couldn't be happier with the staff, facility and care my dogs receive. They come home well groomed and exhausted from playtime. Even their bedding is freshly laundered before taking it home. I can call anytime to check in, and the staff is great! Always friendly and professional. They are going to be my dogs permanent place when I'm out of town!

The staff is always very kind. After just the second reservation they knew my dog's name just from the last name when calling. I have a doberman and she is always happy when dropping off and picking up. She's gets excited each time we pull in the driveway. Great place in a great location. Highly recommend.

We left our two small dogs with this kennel during our Christmas vacation. The manager at this place was so down to earth and didn't feed us any BS about how great and wonderful our dogs were. This was perfect for us because we know our dogs are mean and not a single kennel will take them! She did provide great care and was completely honest about their behavior and welcomed them back anytime! She gave her personal cell and email information so we could stay in contact during their holiday close hours. We will definitely be bringing the back! It's nice to know this place is there when we want to get out of town! 5 stars!

This is the only place we trust to take care of our babies while we are gone! The owner and staff are super friendly and the facilities are always clean. Group playtime is great and they upload pictures of our puppies to Facebook every day so we know they are doing well and having fun! They also offer a discount if you have more than one pet sharing a kennel. Plus they offer grooming services so your pet is fresh and clean when you pick them up! Very impressed with how neat and clean it is every time we visit. The best kennel around!

I love this place. They are always so sweet to my dogs when I board them. It is a super clean place. They take pictures of your dogs during play time too, so you can see and tell that they had fun. The staff is very competent and they know how to handle all kinds of dog personalities.

We just moved to the area, and we came straight from the airport to drop our doggy off here for boarding, as our new residence wasn't ready and we needed to stay in a local hotel. I was so happy and relieved to find a facility like this, especially when I found out that they've been grandfathered in due to a noise ordinance. We used a boarding facility like this in our previous home state, and Country Kennels was the only place that I could find with the same amenities. Country Kennel is even better. The ladies here really took good care of our small dog with separation anxiety issues. They care about the animals in their care, and it shows. They will happily give you a tour, and it's very clean and cozy. Our small dog did well here and was happy and healthy when we picked her up. We will definitely use Country Kennels again whenever we need to board our dog and our cat.

Super nice staff and they definitely know dogs. My boxer is deaf and they knew exactly what kind of behaviors he might show and how to handle the situation. They have different play times and add ons you can choose for your pet. The kennels are super clean. As I picked my doggy up I could tell he liked it there. I can definitely reccomend that place!

This was my first time using Country Kennels and I don't believe it will be my last. My dog sitter canceled the day before I left the country!!! Country Kennels had no problem helping me out and boarding my dog last minute. I should also mention that my dog is not friendly with other animals and they were more then willing to accommodate. The we're very friendly and helpful as this was the first time I have used a kennel. At the drop off they eassemy anxiety about leaving my dog and let me know that they would post pivpictu on FB for me to see and that I could call and see how he was doing. At this time I'm very very happy with this business.I'm going to update later today after I pick my dog up to finish the review on the experience.

I have been taking my 2 dogs here for daycare & in for overnight kenneling since 2014. My girls are happy & healthy. I will continue to have Marilyn groom them also. My one dog would never allow anyone to trim her claws, now no problem. ☺

Great place to bring your dogs. My 2 year old border collie loves playtime and enjoys the friendly staff they provide. They do become busy during the holidays, so i highly recommend stating your needs clearly and they will do an excellent job to accommodate your request.

Country Kennels has been a blessing us, knowing that Kato has a home away from home. The staff is amazing, extremely accommodating & hospitable. They are truly wonderful with the animals & with us humans as well :) the facility is very clean, the employees are always busy constantly cleaning, spraying, washing between feedings, washings & play.
