Worst ever. I asked my wife to just get our golden doodle trimmed, but keep her hair long. She explained it twice and then asked if they understood. They said yes and that we may have to shave her in a few months due to matting. We like her fluffy! What did they do? They shaved her completely. She has a little bit of fluff on her head and tail…the rest is nothing. She now looks like a poodle rat. Paying $82 for a 30lbs dog……and then not even listening to the owners…..absolutely inept.

I specifically told the groomer multiple times to keep my golden doodles hair long and was bringing my dog in every four weeks so that it was easier to maintain. I don’t know what else I could’ve said to get my point across but when I picked my dog up today, she was completely shaved down. I was charged $12 more for the visit even though it was against what I wanted. I have been recommending your business to all of my friends, but that will stop now. I feel as if they shaved my dog because it was easier and they just did what they wanted, despite my wishes. I am not happy and wanted to write this as a warning to others. If you have a specific look you want for your dog, you will likely not get it.

Have taken my two dogs here for a few years. I have always been treated kindly and always pleased with the final results couple weeks ago I inadvertently missed my appointment. The chick on the phone was rude and reminded me I had missed my appointment and they were all booked which was fine. I asked her about next weekend and she said they were booked. I finally asked her if I was putting her out and should I find another groomer. She told me she was trying to put me in however she needed to find another bather who could handle me. She put me on hold and no one ever answered the phone. I don't miss my grooming appointments when I schedule my dog so I'm not sure what her issue was. She sounded like she was put out immediately when she answered the phone and had an attitude from the start of our conversation and then to tell me she was going to find another groomer to handle me. I wasn't asking for special treatment or an immediate appointment. All I wanted was to make an appointment. Well yes there are other groomers in Tacoma and she can kiss my backside

Monday took my 4 mos old German shepherd to see Savannah!!! Great Job, groomer was the sweetest, totally cared for and groomed my puppy tip top. Smelled great and look perfect!!! I considered that a job well done! Thanks Savannah !!!

We were a little uneasy to leave our little chiweenie as she can be quite aggressive at times. We have been unable to clip her nails ourselves without her trying to bite us. Amazingly, she let us hand her right over as they reassured us they would take great care of her. They absolutely did, complete with singing to her. They managed her attempts at aggression with confidence and professionalism! We will definitely be back!

They did a great job! We had our cat groomed. They were quick, friendly, and worked to make sure it was as low stress as possible. We had her undercarriage and boot shaved as well as nail trim and de matting. Cost $40, incredibly affordable. I try to tip extra when I come in, but money's been tight. These folks did and awesome job and we plan to come back in the summer for a lions cut. 😻

Nice groomers that were professional and quick. This was the second time bringing my long haired kitty in for a summertime cut. He is more comfortable without all his long fur and the staff there did a good job with him. I like that I can see everything they are doing instead of taking him into a back room where I can't watch. Some people can be mean to uncooperative animals so that is a concern I didn't have to worry about there, even though my kitty didn't give them any problems.

The team at Tacoma's Best Pet Grooming are very consistent. Which is what I am looking for in a groomer. They also listen to you and take detailed notes. I have always been please with my dogs haircuts. They are great!

Our Rottweiler miniature pincher mix only comes here to get his nails trimmed. He has anxiety issues when getting his nails clipped. They always do an amazing job and I am able to pet him and hold him still, soothe him while getting his nails done. A doggy mom would appreciate taking her dog here for that service.

Showed up to the appointment on time. The staff was very rude they had canceled my dogs appointment but didn't call and tell me that it was canceled. When I asked to move the appointment the lady was suddenly very combative and told me that they wouldn't groom my dog ever. I don't know what i did to receive this treatment. I will not be taking my dog here again.

We had a superb experience with our 12=Yr old Rough Collie with Sydney! It was our first time but she went all out on a complete service, summer trim and a belly strip shave to keep her cool. They were very gentle and though old, she did well. Thanks for your great service!!

I got our dog groomed here for the first time about a week ago. They did an incredible job, and I was very impressed with the quality of the cut. My 3 star rating would be based on price. The cuts seem to average $60-$80, and they ask for a tip as you cash out, which is somewhat presumptuous considering the price of the cut. When leaving we spent $78 for a dog cut. Fairly expensive compared to other groomers in the area.

I have brought my long hair mini dachshund there for 5 years and I love everyone there! They take great care of my dog and don’t even bat an eye when my dog is nervous and pees on their floor. It never takes long and they always do a wonderful job!

I have been taking my Persian mix cat here for 10 years. Absolutely recommend them for cat grooming. Bonus is being able to watch them give your kitty a lion cut in less than 20 min. With no need for a bath. (They do have bath options tho!)

I have been bringing my cat here for several years. He is a very long-haired fluff-ball who needs to keep a short haircut to keep himself clean. However, he is vicious with everyone but my daughter and has been kicked out of about 6 other places. This grooming place allows my daughter back with him to keep him calm, and it works wonders. He gets a great haircut and stays happy- and no one gets bitten! Lastly, the prices are very reasonable.

I dropped my 1yr old puppy who was 75lbs off to get shampoo and trimmed. They were amazing. I was running late one time and he didn't like being in the cage so when I finally arrived he was just wondering around following one of the girls. They are amazing there!!! Thank you!

The last time she was here the staff complained that she tried to jump off the grooming bench. Each time I brought her I had to drag her in, she hated it. I just had her groomed somewhere else with someone that worked with her and it was amazing, and Hannah was happy. I would not bring my dog here.
