I really like Bartells. I recently couldn't get to the store. They told me they had a free service where they could put it in the mail. And like a hot bunny. It was here within a day or two. Super safe, and then on top of that, I got a text message from Bartell's telling me that my package was delivered. I really like the service. I love how Bartell's health services are starting to evolve in a positive way. Way to go, Bartell's

I had such a wonderful experience at Bartell pharmacy. The pharmacy staff treated me with the kindness and professionalism. They went out of their way to ensure I received the medication and information I needed. The entire team at Bartell was amazing!!I'm really amazed by how hard the pharmacy staff works all day long. I can't even imagine if I can do what they do. Their dedication is something I truly appreciate. It's disheartening to see bad reviews from customers who may not fully understand the hard work and dedication that goes into pharmacy services. The Bartell workers should be acknowledged for their steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional care and support to their valued customers. You all deserve a 5-star rating

Got a tooth pulled at 1pm today and my dentist sent over the prescription before I left the office , came to bartel at 3PM today, was told THEY DIDNT RECEIVE IT. So I pulled away and call my dentist - they confirm it was sent over and accepted by the pharmacy. So not even 4 minutes later I pull back up to bartel and ask where my prescription is. ALL OF A SUDDEN MR.70s SHOW AT THE COUNTER HAS IT AND ITLL NOW BE READY IN AN HOUR. I call back 30 min later because I just got my tooth yanked out my mouth and it was starting to throb, I assume they filled it. THIS MAN ANSWERS AND TELLS ME HE JUST PRINTED THEM AND IS GONNA FILL THEM GIVE HIM 30 min. So being that I had time I call my dentist and ask them what time the prescription was verified - THEY SAID 1:32 it was verified SO HOW DOES IT TAKE OVER 3 HRS TO PUT SOME PILLS IN A BOTTLE. This place is so weird now that it’s note rite aid. AND PLEASE STOP LYING TO PEOPLES FACES ABOUT THEIR MEDS.

The dedicated team at this Bartell Pharmacy consistently goes above and beyond to provide top-notch care and assistance to us, the customers. Their expertise and willingness to address my questions and concerns have been a source of comfort during uncertain times when my doctor prescribed new medications. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for everyone in this Bartell store. Thank you for doing such an amazing job. It's unfortunate to see many negative reviews about our lovely pharmacy team, especially when my personal experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. While everyone is entitled to their opinions and experiences, I believe it's essential to provide a balanced perspective rather than complaining about others due to a lack of knowledge about how the system works.

I am not only a patient but I am also an employee. So when this location switched from a rite aid to the BARTELL’S it became trash. I’ve had 4 separate experiences with this store since the change and every time I am discussed and disappointed. I came into the store waited at drop off for the technician to help me but I was ignored while they just continued to help everyone else regardless who came first. And when it was my turn they just walked away and finally the pharmacist came over and helped me because he saw that I was annoyed from being ignored from the incompetent technician. The time after that I went to two urgent care and had my RX sent over I waited about 15 minutes then drove over and asked how long the pharmacist said 30 minutes so I waited and when I got back it wasn’t ready so another pharmacist told me to come back later, they got it ready 20 minutes before they closed. They had all day to fill it. This last time I called for a refill early in the morning thinking it would be done later in the day but it wasn’t. It wasn’t even done until the next afternoon when I called them and asked if it was done. Then it was done 10 minutes after I talked to them. I will never come back to this pharmacy and I will never send any of my patients to them as well. This is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous.

Been here couple times for shots and meds. Great service and attitude towards customers! Most of these 1star reviews are just from people who have bad days and negative attitude towards others. Sometimes, waits can be long and busy... But hey, we are all human and the world doesn’t revolve around you. Just keep the positive vibes going so the flow can stay flowing. This place is awesome! 🤙🏽

I was surprised to find out the RiteAid on Mildred street is now Bartell Drugs. I was really glad to see they retained many of same staff in the pharmacy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as usual, including the new staff I didn't recognize from the previous store. Despite the store change, this will still be my go to pharmacy.

I’ve gotten my meds filled at several different pharmacies in my lifetime and have had the best experience at Bartell. Staff is super friendly, meds are filled fast. Joshua the pharmacist is great - he’s very knowledgeable and answers all of my questions thoroughly. Would highly recommend!

I absolutely love this pharmacy. I left my local pharmacy over a year ago bc the pharmacist didn’t know what they were doing. I have not been let down since I’ve been coming here every employee are kind, respectful, patient and answer any and all my questions (which there are a lot of them lol) I recommend everyone who is near by start using this location as their main one.

In the (almost) decade I've patronized this pharmacy, I am convinced that this staff are, without a doubt, the most helpful, selfless, and professional people I have ever experienced. I don't go anywhere else. When I do, it's because they took the time to call another pharmacy because of a supply issue or some other thing outside of their control. I've seen them quell confrontation and satisfy awnry customers and provide helpful service to to everyone. Specifically, I'd like to recognize Quynh, Vy, and Kristen. They are absolutely wonderful. My only reservation is that I kind of don't want to share this place because I would then have to be ok with sharing their service with more people and I'm admittedly selfish about my sharing my finds.

Was receiving non-stimulant ADHD medication from here. I chose Bartells because some pharmacies don’t carry stimulants and I potentially needed them in the future. Bartell Drugs carries them for some lucky people, I however am not so lucky. They have a new post-Covid policy that they will not accept any prescriptions made via telehealth (at least for stimulants like adderall). I’m not certain how me having a zoom call with a provider is much different than an in person appointment? They also wouldn’t suggest other pharmacies that could help me. I think this is incredibly ridiculous and unfair to people who don’t have the time to wait for in person appointments. It’s also unfair to the ADHD community when there is a shortage on adderall right now anyway. I was so happy to support a local chain but I refuse to even shop here for everyday items now. Plus I heard Rite Aid bought them out and I don’t need to support Walgreens and CVS’s sad cousin. I’ll be supporting small local pharmacies from now on.

I walked in and the decor was the first thing that made me feel welcome, I saw clearly labeled coolers, electronics, and lots of food. It's previously been a rite aid. I bought a drink, was taken to a high tech counter that made it exciting to use the pos system.I hope this store does well. If you are cheap, have a poor attitude, parade you lgbtq status,or like to price check cashiers with I'm the customer so I'm right, please stay away from this store and go annoy value village across the street. This bartell drugs is a store for responsible mature organized and financially savvy individuals.

Bartell Stores have been in business a long time. I like their customer service, they carry items in their food section you can't find at most other stores and at reasonable prices. I use them as my backup Pharmacy and their service can't be beat. The only reason their only my backup Pharmacy is that my medications usually come by FedEx. Great place, way better than their competitors.

I’ve been going to bartells slash rite aid, for over 4 years and threw some life changing medical diagnoses and the staff is always friendly and respectful, I appreciate them more than they know. Great job everyday staff!

Thank you 😊 for all of your staff ❤️, I have had some extremely difficult experiences with Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and others, me I'm disabled do to a car accident, I have written reviews that have been removed and I will restate the obvious, the people that are serving me in your store are absolutely amazing and professional I truly feel confident and respected, the ladies who have been there from rite aid and now with Bartell have been angels 😇 they have gone above and beyond to insure that I have been taken care of by helping me with my medication and even myself with caring,listening and doing all of the work in helping me get the best from my doctor and insurance, to all these rude people who have been experiencing bad service, check yourself take a deep breath and make the better decision to be part of the solution instead of making a decision to be stupid, if you want privacy go inside, question ask, thank you kindly for your support and definitely for your people they make the difference.

The Asian woman employee in pharmacy named my prescription medication over the speaker in the drive through window! Now all the company in my vehicle can Google my medical diagnosis that should not of been spoken so openly over a loud speaker! Why can’t you just say “one script is ready” like the rest and preserve anonymity by not divulging private HIPPA info? Or perhaps call me on my cell or use the actual phone to have a pvt conversation!I will complain to corporate too and I hope they lose you like your loose tongue!

Horrible service at their pharmacy. Told my prescription would be 20 minutes then when I went back in to get it I was told they just received my prescription and it would be another 15 minutes. This was hours after my doctor had called it in btw. Last time I’ll be using this pharmacy.

Take your money elsewhere! Old Mexican lady followed me around as soon as I walked In. I was just there to big body wash. Left feeling extremely uncomfortable and bothered! She left her register to walk down aisles to keep her eye on me. Even stood by the door with the manager. As soon as I paid she walked back to her register. I have no clue what her issue is or maybe my energy was too big for her. Either way I made her feel like I was going to steal. Never stole in my life. This is how problems are caused. Leave that job for security or Loss prevention.

The staff is rude, particularly the older white woman with a hunched back and a ponytail.I went in looking for witch hazel pads. I walked up to two employees, and neither acknowledged me until I asked for assistance. When I asked if there was any witxh hazel, the older woman said in a condescending manner, "Uh... YEAH."When I asked them where they directed me to the aisle. When she saw that I was rummaging around trying to find it, she asked me exactly what I was looking for. When I told her I needed pads, she snapped at me angrily and said, "I don't have any pads!"I drove over half an hour because I wanted to support a local business. Guess I'll just go back to being a regular Walgreens customer like I was before I moved to WA.The up side is that they do carry a very great selection of products compared to Walgreens, and their aisles are very well organized. But I choose not to be disrespected again as a paying customer.

I went to Bartell on 27th and Bridgeport today to get a new Rx my doctor had ordered, as well as a couple of refills. The new med was not going to be paid by my Medicare insurance plan, and was going to cost way more than I can possibly afford. A wonderful young woman, named Sahija, (I apologize for the spelling of her name) went out of her way to find a discount for me. She offered the Bartell discount, and even checked Good Rx, to see if they could beat the Bartell discount. She also helped with another expensive medication. For 2 medications which would have cost more than $350, with Sahija's help ended up being less than $70. She truly was wonderful and made the day much brighter.

I have not had worse costumer service at a pharmacy than my family and I have had here. If you don't have to use this pharmacy, DON'T. I wish I could rate them 0/5 stars. There is one really sweet girl, but the rest a rude and inconsiderate. The past 10 times I have had to refill a prescription, I have called it in days before needed, come to pick it up and it not be ready, claiming they never received a refill when each time I purposefully call and talk to an actual person in the pharmacy. Needless to say we have had enough of the unprofessionalism and are switching pharmacies as soon as possible.

I am a Kaiser Permanente member who uses Bartels because negative reaction to Rx Kaiser filled. I could tolerate the pill from the manufacture Bartels used. However since Rite Aid purchased Bartels, they no longer use that manufacturer. Bartels on University Place frequently out of medication thus delay in refilling. Very slow and problems using automatic refill system. Poorly run Pharmacy with inadequate inventory.

The pharmacy is terrible.they will say 45 minutes to an hour to fill your prescription my wife and I give them at least two hours every time. More often than not even after that the prescriptions are not filled. It's like they wait until you get there to say now will fill it please come back later. This is not a one-time occurrence this is most of the time. Unfortunately they are the only place nearby that takes my insurance.

The staff are always friendly and willing to help. The shelves are not too tall and you can see over them. They stock many local items and brands. Given the choice, I like to support Bartell Drugs!

Bartell's just feels more open and spacious than Walgreen's, possibly due to the shorter shelf heights. Friendly staff, and interesting selection of foods and snacks. They always have a better selection of beer and wine than Walgreen's, also.
