A delightful restaurant located just below Suma’s Lodge provided a delicious dinner during our stay! The staff was kind and attentive. If you are in the area, this is a great place for burgers or steak. Ordered medium rare and got medium, but it was still very tasty!

I was down in Sumas to pick up some items I had sent from Japan, since there’s no shipping between Canada and Japan at the moment. I saw the big burger sign and had a craving for a burger. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and hello from the bartender. I was welcomed to sit outside and since it was a beautiful day I took a seat on the patio. The server came up to me within 30 seconds and was very friendly and pleasant. I scanned thru the menu and ordered the bbq burger! It was awesome. The meat was piping hot, juicy and grilled perfectly. The bun was robust and fresh. The toppings were very generous and sides of fries and salad were very appealing to the eyes and palate. The croutons were even home made. The bottomless soda drinks were really great! I had root beer, Pepsi and seven up! I would definitely go back there next time I’m in Sumas.

An unexpected and late lunch in Sumas led me to Bob's Burgers. Despite a complete lack of cartoon characters, Bob's succeeds due to amazing burgers, quality atmosphere (I recommend the patio) and charming servers.The guacamole bacon burger and fries is a decadent spread.

Great fish and chips! Cozy setting!!Food was great! Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Server was friendly and atmosphere was calm and cozy. Fireplace and couches are a nice touch.

Nice place to eat, and the food was good, but the service was not so great. We never got refills on our drinks. We weren't even asked. We had to ask the waitress for lemon, which should have come automatically with the fish dinner, plus we had to hunt down a ketchup bottle ourselves that we could use.I understand that sense Covid had a huge impact on businesses, and people aren't really interested in actually working or doing their jobs correctly. It would be nice to have that back.

Friday and Saturday have special beef dishes. Last time I went, booth benches were uncleanDietary restrictions: The new owner (related to Bob) was our server and knew all ingredients. The shaved prime rib ("Squirrel"?) sandwich is shaved in house and has tomato slices and no sauce. The sandwich also tastes low salt but has more flavour eating it cheese side down.The au jus is made from powder.I got substitute for the dressing on request (oil and lemon) the first time, but the second time, a different server told me they didn't have any oil that would be good on salad.

I had the 12oz steak dinner Friday night, ham & pineapple burger for lunch Saturday afternoon and the sirloin dinner Saturday night. Friday night was perfect food, service, atmosphere... so was lunch, dinner Saturday was apparently homecoming for the high-school, I give 5 stars because food was good (order medium if you're trying to get medium well). Although, there were a few bugs flying around which was probably due to the patio door being propped open in the lounge area. The service went well even though it was severely slow due to the busy time and 3 servers. I would definitely dine here again however being a solo eater, I wouldn't do Saturday night.

My family and myself walked in to eat here and after 35 min, people started walking out from not getting service for over an hour. As we sat waiting we noticed ants crawling all over the place. After 45 min we got up to leave from no service.( No menus or water at this point) As we were leaving we noticed that the tables we saw with food still there from earlier customers were still there from when we came in. That can not be good for business. They lost a few customers and 1 being someone who went there alot.

Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff, good 'limited' selection on tap and burgers better than average.Parking: Lots of parking on 3 sidesWheelchair accessibility: Same level with double-door entry, small raised thresholds.Plenty of flexible seating options, restaurant, bar, and outdoor patio.Bathroom doors have non-sprung hinges making access by chair, cane, walker easier. Large enough space for 2 if needed with locking doors for privacy.(I work in a hospital, accessibility catches my attention).

Bob's Burgers never disappoints. Our server was really friendly. The burgers here look like what you see on the menu and are huge and taste great. Visited on a Tuesday evening and sat in the restaurant. It was pretty empty but the place went through the pandemic and flood.
