Amazing. So glad we chose Hotel Stevenson for our little escape trip! Perfect location in Stevenson to be able to walk to anything in town you want to see. Close to the supermarket, the river walk, all the local eateries/pubs, and all the local shops.Hotel Manager was super kind, helpful with suggestions of things to do, and places to go. The other lady there was so nice and pleasant to talk with as well. The little bistro they run was perfect! Amazing food (get the fondue and the caprese, you will love them).Room was wonderful. We stayed in room 11. They have done a great job turning this place into a lovely modern boutique hotel. We've never been to Stevenson, and we are so glad we made it a destination. Looking forward to next year when we are planning on coming back again.Rooms: Clean, modern super nice bedding and soft pillows. Each room has a different theme,Nearby activities: Numerous shops, and micro brew pubs nearby, and a great river walk to see amazing views.Walkability: Everything in this little town is walkable from Hotel Steveson. Seriously. Everything. Perfect location. We walked the entire business district several times over our 4 day stay.

Easy to get to in central Stevenson, Dave at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and tremendously comfortable, it was in easy walking distance to the rest of town, and while I don't use words like "charming" often, that's the best thing I can think of to describe it. I was breezing through on business and only wish I had more time to stay and enjoy it!Walkability: Easy walking distance to the rest of Stevenson, including multiple shopping outlets, coffee, several restaurants, and the Columbia River and accompanying park.

Stayed for 1 night with our dog. Check in was super easy and the location was great. It is very close to the train but it didn't bother me too much. If your a light sleeper then use the ear plugs. It is just a few blocks from a park with a great paved walking trail which was perfect for the dog. The pet fee was $30 but provided the cutest box of supplies including treats, water bowl, bags, a towel, and a blanket. Very thoughtful. This is also by far one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in!! The decor was very cute and loved the coffee in the room and the lobby. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definetly recommend to any family or friends.

My husband and I decided to take a mini winter vacation and somewhat randomly chose our destination to be Stevenson Washington right on the Columbia River. Our search for a hotel included details regarding location, price, amenities, reviews (of course,) and pet policy considering we were traveling with our tiny dog. We landed on reservations at the Hotel Stevenson. The online various lodging booking sites should be reconsidered and a much more generous description should be updated.Hotel Stevenson is up a hill about 2 or 3 blocks from and with a glorious view of the Columbia river. It is not just luxury, comfort, and historically impressive, but every care seemed to be considered when decorating and furnishing the hotel.Throughout the hotel is gorgeous vintage furniture, replicas, flooring, wallpaper (wow!! that wallpaper!), and lighting. Any updates that may have been made recently with the interior: doors, trim, those gorgeous stairs, or flooring, appears to have been completed with every imaginable attempt to maintain the historical integrity of the overall environment throughout the hotel. The room extremely comfortable and was brilliantly furnished. Not just for style but sensibly and would accommodate most guests regardless of length of stay. The hospitality was the only thing that I can't compliment highly enough. Our hostess was exceptional in communication, unobtrusive but made it clear that she is available every minute of our stay to accommodate any needs or requests that we might have. She was impressively knowledgeable about, not just the town, but countless details about surrounding areas: lakes, trails, other sites but especially Mt. Saint Helens.Stevenson Washington was a delight to visit and we are already making plans to return in Spring/Summer and pray Hotel Stevenson with have a room available.

I am a "Gorge local" and just stayed at the Hotel Stevenson for the first time, and I absolutely LOVED it! This quaint, charming and historic hotel is beautiful, my room (#10) had a view of the river, the bed was soooo comfortable and the sheets heavenly soft, the staff checking me in and out were helpful and friendly, and it was the perfect "solo" break I've had in awhile to recharge my batteries for which the Hotel Stevenson was the perfect venue. I parked my car in front and never had to move it until I left town as I was able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store as everything is within walking distance. This hotel is a hidden gem and I can't wait to return!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Stevenson while we celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary. Also we had our Anniversary dinner there and had the Pinwheel Lasagne (that was absolutely one of the best tasting, ever). The owners Terri and Dave were wonderful hosts and a thanks to April, who also helped us with various questions. We loved the room, it had a very comfortable bed and the room was very clean and cheerful. We would give more stars if we could and highly recommend the Hotel Stevenson to anyone visiting the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel Stevenson. Our room on the main floor had been recently renovated and included a full bath and a small sitting area and king bed. We were particularly impressed with all of the little things that were included that made our stay comfortable. Just as important, the staff were very friendly and always strove to meet any of our needs, whether it be delivering an ironing board and iron to our room, or allowing us to enjoy our Willamette Valley wine with their delicious 77 Cork & Tap Bistro cheese plate. We would highly recommend the Hotel Stevenson.Rooms: The rooms have been tastefully and creatively renovated. Our room on the main floor was very comfortable and included a small sitting area, full bath as well as a Keurig coffee-maker and other thoughtful items to meet traveler needs.

Hotel Stevenson is a GEM nestled in the scenic Columbia Gorge!!! If you have not made the trip to stay here, book a room right away. I have stayed here several times. Each room is unique offering a different jewel tone color scheme & tastefully decorated with beautiful antique furniture. The mattresses are heavenly. 😇 I want to eventually stay in each of the 12 rooms offered. 😍 Some have stunning views. This boutique hotel has its own Tap & Cork Bistro inside, allowing you to enjoy a delicious variety of local wines, hard cider, and beer in the parlor while looking at some of the amazing views that Stevenson has to offer. 🍷🍻 Hotel Stevenson is truly special! 💝 I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like it. You’ve got to come check out this beauty. I promise it will NOT disappoint! ❤️

10/10 stay at this beautifully cozy boutique hotel. My bestie and I decided on a spontaneous over night stay in Stevenson after soaking at Carson hot springs and I’m so glad we did. What a wonderful place to unwind. The beds are insanely comfy and the winter Gorge views breathtaking. The owner is lovely and so accommodating. Don’t let this gem pass you by!

I recently stayed at the Hotel Stevenson along with a few coworkers. My room was very comfortable - old-fashioned but with modern conveniences. Terry was informed ahead of time that I have celiac disease. Great care was taken to serve gluten-free food that was delicious and carefully labeled versus non-gluten-free food. What a lovely stay!

I loved this place. The room was beautiful, bed was nicely comfortable and there were nice little touches throughout the room. Didn't need it but the underbed storage is a good idea.We visited the wine bar that evening as we checked in. That was also excellent... I had a to die for cider.Room prices were more than reasonable and the service was excellent.I will definitely stay here again when in Stevenson WA

Great night in the Columbia Gorge!. - we needed a get-a-way close to home and found Hotel Stevenson. Old charm, new decor. This recently renovated charmer is very comfortable - great rooms, great views an in hotel food and beverage. We found a nice list of beer and cider on tap, wine, and nice list of small plate options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Owners and staff are warm and friendly. The booking process was easy as could be. I recommend a night or two in a charming town, in a charming room, in the Hotel Stevenson.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Bolognese sauce at the Cork and Tap Bistro at the Stevenson Hotel and it was nothing short of a gastronomic masterpiece. The Bolognese sauce, simmered to perfection, was a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The addition of pancetta elevated the dish to new heights, infusing it with a smoky and savory essence that was simply divine. Each bite was a journey through layers of taste, and I found myself savoring every moment. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection, serving as the ideal canvas for this flavorful masterpiece. It absorbed the sauce beautifully, creating a harmonious marriage of textures and tastes. It was clear that the chef had poured their heart and soul into crafting this dish. What struck me most about this experience was the authenticity of the flavors. It felt like a genuine taste of Italy, transporting me to the heart of Bologna itself. Buon appetito! 🇮🇹🍝Food & drinks: Very nice selection of local beers, ciders and wine

Hotel Stevenson is a charming upscale boutique hotel, completely renovated with high quality finishes in antique modern style, and located in downtown Stevenson. It is within walking distance of several shops, bars, and a grocery store. Each room is a work of art and has an en suite bath. We stayed in room 10 with mountain and town views. The bed was hands down the most comfortable I have slept in. Easy to use reservation system. They have a nice selection of local wines and IPA beers. We especially loved the Wild Ride Nut Crusher peanut butter porter! We had wine, beer, and a delicious stuffed mushroom in the evening and coffee and pastries in the morning. Excellent service! We will definitely stay again!

What a gem in this tiny Gorge community. We've been following the progress pictures and anticipate the opening, and let me tell you, if you are looking for a quaint, unique, far from cookie cutter, boutique experience, this is it. The bistro is absolutely wonderful, food was great, very reasonably priced. Staff was helpful, friendly and funny. Can't wait to try new menu items.

Truly a beautiful place. The whole vibe is elegant with details too numerous to mention* One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in (we were in Room 9) and excellent shower. Keurig coffee maker tho no fridge or microwave, if that’s important to you.Well, ok ;) The details: First you notice the wallpaper-stunning. Goldtone fixtures & hardware. Velvet blackout curtains. Chenille comforter/throw. Red velvet tuck-pleated throw pillow. Black washcloth with the word ‘Makeup’ embroidered. Like I said, so many posh details. Loved every minute of our stay!
